Our Paranormal Afterlife : Finding Proof of Life After Death

This week I'm talking to Curry Stegen about his book 'Walking in the Shadows of Strangers: My Journey Into the Paranormal'.

Have you ever had a strange and unexplainable experience that made you question if it was real or not, because you were taught to believe such things are not real. My name is Curry Stegen and I have been a Paranormal Investigator for close to 10 years now. Before getting involved in the paranormal, I questioned whether ghosts and hauntings were real, or just the result of a person’s overactive imagination. That is, until I decided to explore the paranormal and find out for myself if there is any truth to the ghostly stories I read about, watched on television, or were told about by family and friends.

After getting involved in the paranormal, I quickly discovered that there is something real to all of it; that there are things that go bump in the night and that these things are really not something to fear, as some may lead you to believe. Instead, my journey has given me a renewed hope that we will all conquer death and live on after our earthly existence.

I have come to accept that there is something to many other types of unexplainable phenomena as well, as I discovered by exploring these things on my podcast show. My exploration into these unexplained phenomena have led me to believe that our universe is much more mysterious than I ever imagined.

Let me take you on a journey of self-discovery, from skeptic to believer; from a doubter to a believer that ghosts and spirits are not just stuff of people’s imagination, but something that can be experienced by anyone willing to open their mind to it.

In my new book, Walking in the Shadows of Strangers, I document my experiences as a Paranormal Investigator at over 20 different haunted locations. I have had many compelling experiences at these locations and even a few unsettling and creepy encounters. My journey into the paranormal has been quite remarkable, and even life changing, and I hope you will enjoy letting me share my journey with you.

I’m a retired Air Force Reserve Officer and have been involved in Paranormal Investigating for several years now. I recently published my first book, Walking in the Shadows of Strangers, where I document my journey of close to years investigating the paranormal. Melinda Greer, MD. is a board certified Pediatrician who has been practicing in the American Heartland for over 20 years. She was a Medical Technologist (ASCP) prior to beginning medical school at the age of 33. From an early age, she realized that these types of paranormal events did not seem disrupt the life of most of her fellow humans, a revelation that often made her question her sanity, as well as questioning the very nature of reality.
Her experiences include multiple UFO sightings of various types of craft, “missing time”, interactions with various invisible NHI (non-human intelligences), “Bigfoot” encounters, Ghosts encounters, and OOB (Out of Body) experiences, among others. After a NDE (Near Death Experience) in 2013, Melinda has felt increasingly compelled to share her “encounters with the unknown” with friends, family and occasionally colleagues. This week I'm talking to Melinda Greer about her chapter in the book 'A Greater Reality Vol 1: The New Paradigm of Nonlocal Consciousness, the Paranormal & the Contact Modalities'.

CONSCIOUSNESS IS PRIMARY. CCRI argues that mind and consciousness are fundamental and non-local, and that matter, energy, and information are ultimately grounded in one mind and consciousness. We argue that “Consciousness is Fundamental and that our physical world is a manifestation of consciousness and not our physical reality” -- the philosophical position that the only thing that exists is consciousness. We hypothesize that all of the Contact Modalities are interrelated via a manipulation of space-time and by definition might be interdimensional.

ONE PHENOMENON. We argue that there is a range of states of consciousness, the Contact Modalities, where we can access both non-physical and physical realms and interact with perceived higher forms of intelligence via our ordinary senses. For all of these reasons, we assert that the Contact Modalities need to be studied as one phenomenon-- as a manifestation of a single greater source of mind and consciousness.

Eternea’s mission is to facilitate scientific research, public education, outreach and practical programmatic initiatives to help people recognize that eternal existence in some form or fashion is a fundamental reality for all living things.
Mr. Audette is also the co-founder of the International Association for Near-Death Studies, Inc. (IANDS.org). Steve Hammond
The Scottish UFO Casebook is a compilation of over 800 sightings, from the first century AD to the present day. Well-known events are covered alongside sightings teased out of archives and contemporary newspaper accounts. Each entry has been written with an unsensational eye for the facts, fully referenced and with links to original sources.
Where possible, actual case numbers are given, as used by UFO groups of the time. Sightings are of course covered, as are Close Encounters, Alien Abductions, and yet stranger occurrences. Many cases are being presented here for the first time.
You will see that throughout history Scotland is no stranger to to flying saucer mystery.

Steve has had an interest in UFOs throughout his life. He ran the Anglo-Scottish UFO Research Association website and has had a few sightings, but says most of them were explicable.

When I was five years old I was awakened by an intrusive ghost who not only scared the wits out of me but who also opened up a portal that activated my psychic gifts and allowed a never-ending parade of paranormal manifestations to occur in my life.

Dear Mr. Lovelace,
My late husband Paul and I had an experience in March of 1968. I've never shared this story with anyone other than my sister and Paul's parents. I was a housewife and Paul was a nephrologist (a kidney doctor) who worked in private practice. We had friends in Reno, Nevada and about every month we'd make the drive from Vegas to Reno to share a weekend with friends. We always stopped in a little town called Tonopah about half-way to Reno. We'd stretch a bit, get fuel and have dinner. It was called "The Stagecoach." I believe it's still there. On this night we were three hours later than usual because Paul had been tied up at the hospital. After dinner and fuel we got back on the road about 9:00 PM and headed for Reno. About 10 miles out of town we were surprised to see a new store. It was a Christmas store. I had never before seen a store solely devoted to the holiday. The store appeared to be open as there was brilliant white light pouring out of the windows. The whole structure was draped in Christmas tree lights in assorted colors, some blinking and others not. I asked Paul to pull over. We were both mesmerized. He pulled onto the shoulder directly in front of the store. It sat back from the road a ways and the lights were incredible. It was odd. There was no parking lot! It was just sand and sagebrush. We saw no other cars, but someone was inside because we could see motion and movement through the windows. Paul noted there was no driveway for an entrance. I remarked, "Who would build a store without an egress or a parking lot?" We sat on the shoulder of the highway in front of the store for some minutes until Paul said, "This is a waste of time," and he pulled back onto the road. Because my husband worked so many hour we usual spent time during the drive to just chat and catch up on things. But not this night. This night was very different....

Terry Lovelace is a six year veteran of the USAF where he served as a medic and EMT from 1973 to 1979. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology with honors from Park University in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed a law degree from Western Michigan and passed the Michigan State Bar Examination. He was also admitted to the bar in Vermont and the US Territory of American Samoa. His legal career began in private practice until his appointment as an assistant attorney general for the U.S. Territory of American Samoa, he also served as State’s Attorney for Vermont Board of Medical Practice until his 2012 retirement.
He and a friend were abducted from Devils Den State Park in NW Arkansas in June 1977 while remote camping. They were both on active duty at the time. What followed were 40+ years of nightmares, phobias, and PTSD-like issues which continue to this day.
