Hell engulfed the squared circle Sunday night as WWE presented Hell in a Cell, a pay-per-view headlined by the latest and, hopefully, final showdown between Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley.

NXT is in chaos. William Regal, who has been with NXT since the beginning, admitted that he had lost control of the brand. At the close of NXT TakeOver: In Your House 2021, he proclaimed that he would need to make a change.

The June 15 edition of NXT was the beginning of that change. Regal was set to open the show with a massive announcement that would change the black-and-gold brand. Speculation abound was unclear on what would come next.

The show also promised multiple big matches and moments. In particular, Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher would battle in a tornado tag team match against Zack Gibson and James Drake.

Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai would return to tag team action after the NXT women's champion's successful title defense at TakeOver, facing the underdogs Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter.

Imperium looked to right a wrong by defeating Breezango, the team that took the NXT Tag Team Championships from them. Kushida awaited a new challenger in an NXT Cruiserweight Title Open Challenge.

LA Knight would be officially crowned as only the fifth man ever to hold the Million Dollar Championship. Io Shirai also had promised to speak to the NXT Universe about her future following her return the previous week.

NXT stacked the card for this big night, following up on another successful TakeOver event!

We're in the final stretch before Hell in a Cell this Sunday, so this week's Raw spent a lot of time making sure the big storylines were in order.

Monday's show featured the return of Eva Marie after weeks of video packages hyping her comeback. Naomi served as her first opponent.

We also saw AJ Styles battle Drew McIntyre while The New Day took on Randy Orton and Riddle in tag team action.

Can Orton and Riddle continue to coexist?

On Sunday night, the men and women of the NXT roster took to the ring for this year's TakeOver: In Your House event.

After weeks of back and forth insults, Cameron Grimes and LA Knight fought to see which one was the true high roller of NXT in a Ladder match for the Million Dollar Championship.

The women's division had two matches on the card. Xia Li took on Mercedes Martinez and Raquel Gonzalez defended the NXT Women's Championship against Ember Moon.

Two titles were on the line on one match when Bronson Reed teamed up with MSK to defend their North American and NXT Tag titles against Legado del Fantasma in a Winner Takes All bout.

Lastly, the night was headlined by a five-man match for the NXT Championship. Karrion Kross put the title up for grabs against Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Pete Dunne and Johnny Gargano.

Just one week after a vicious assault that left SmackDown tag team champions Rey and Dominik Mysterio lying, universal champion Roman Reigns returned to the blue brand Friday night to address his actions and the status of his strained relationship with The Usos.

The Tribal Chief headlined, as usual, on a show that also featured the return of the Ding Dong, Hello Show featuring Bayley and guest Seth Rollins, as well as Big E and Kevin Owens taking on Sami Zayn and Apollo Crews.

The June 8 edition of WWE NXT looked forward to TakeOver: In Your House 2021 on June 13. In particular, many wrestlers competed to make a statement ahead of the major event.

Ember Moon has been a constant thorn in the side of Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai to the point that the NXT women's champion injured her partner, Shotzi Blackheart. Ahead of her title shot, The War Goddess challenged The Captain of Team Kick, hoping to even the odds by defeating the champion's friend.

Austin Theory and Oney Lorcan have collided because of the animosity between their friends Johnny Gargano and Pete Dunne. Just days before Johnny Wrestling and The Bruiserweight challenge Karrion Kross, Theory and Lorcan had their own score to settle.

After getting in the face of Isaiah "Swerve" Scott, Killian Dain gladly accepted a match with the leader of Hit Row, looking to shut up the loudmouth competitor.

The show also promised the return of Poppy and a "priceless" announcement from Ted DiBiase involving the match between LA Knight and Cameron Grimes at TakeOver.

NXT has gone in a new direction on the road to TakeOver, but this final stop had a chance to truly show fans what they should expect Sunday!

ith WWE Hell in a Cell less than two weeks away on June 20, the card for the pay-per-view is finally starting to come together.

This week's Raw featured Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre making their WWE title match official with a contract signing.

After confronting Alexa Bliss last week, Shayna Baszler found herself the focus of attention on this week's edition of "Alexa's Playground."

With less than two weeks before NXT TakeOver: In Your House 2021, the June 1 edition of WWE NXT began to build the massive show for the black-and-gold brand.

Kyle O'Reilly, Pete Dunne and Johnny Gargano have all called their shot at Karrion Kross, but only one could challenge the NXT champion at TakeOver. They would open the show in a must-watch clash of three of the top NXT stars.

The NXT Tag Team Championships were on the line between two longtime rivals. Nash Carter and Wes Lee found themselves in a tough fight against Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza. Would MSK be able to fend off another top challenger in a tough division, or would Legado del Fantasma regain some gold?

Only these two matches were promised for the night, but plenty more was expected given the rivalries that have been building.

Raquel Gonzalez attacked Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart last week, setting up for likely revenge. Franky Monet made her debut and is likely to be watching everyone closely.

We have not seen Kushida much since his victory over Santos Escobar to retain the NXT Cruiserweight Championship, but he should have many potential challengers. Escobar himself has moved on targeting North American champion Bronson Reed.

Anything was possible for this big show and the TakeOver card. The only promise was two absolute must-see matches!
