With just six days to go until WrestleMania Backlash, WWE made sure to use Monday's Raw to highlight some of the most high-profile feuds.

Before he defends the WWE Championship in a Triple Threat match, Bobby Lashley faced Drew McIntyre one week after battling Braun Strowman.

Randy Orton and Riddle's new partnership has proved popular with fans, so WWE continued it this week by having them team up with The New Day to face Jaxson Ryker, Elias, AJ Styles and Omos.

We also saw Asuka, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke team up to take on Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler in a six-woman tag team contest.

WWE went retro Friday night on Fox with a special Throwback edition of SmackDown, headlined by a WrestleMania rematch between Cesaro and Seth Rollins.

With momentum on his side and a showdown with Universal champion Roman Reigns seemingly inevitable, would The Swiss Superman make it two-in-a-row against The Architect, or would Rollins end a singles match win streak that dates back to May 29, 2020?

The May 4 edition of NXT promised the intense end of two important feuds.

Leon Ruff made his mark last year with a shocking upset win over Johnny Gargano. That single victory has haunted him since, leading to a rivalry with Isaiah "Swerve" Scott, who has felt entitled to the opportunity Ruff was given. They looked to prove their worth in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

Finn Balor has been missing for weeks. The former NXT champion was brutalized by Karrion Kross, losing his gold in a dominant main event performance. The Prince has recovered and had a chance to address his loss.

After both teams stacked their claim to the No. 1 contendership, Grizzled Young Veterans challenged Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher. In a rematch from the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, this was sure to be a special and physical matchup.

NXT has always been built on the promise of fresh talent stepping up to the plate, and this show had it all. Highlighted by multiple young stars, this was a packed card with tons of potential!

This week's show was all about championships. After saying he could beat Drew McIntyre or Braun Strowman in a singles bout, WWE champion Bobby Lashley was given a chance to prove he could back up that statement. 

The tag team division was also spotlighted on Monday when AJ Styles and Omos returned for the first time since winning the Raw Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania to defend the titles against The New Day in a rematch. 

We also saw Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler defend the Women's Tag Team Championships against Lana and Naomi.

The fallout from NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver has not stopped. That event reshaped NXT to the point that we are still experiencing the aftermath. The April 27 edition of the show included plenty of fresh moments and matches as NXT refocuses on the future.

Adam Cole was set to sit down with Arash Markazi to address his brutal match with Kyle O'Reilly. This was the first time we heard from Cole since he had to be taken to a local medical facility on a stretcher.

Legado del Fantasma has lost its stranglehold on NXT's cruiserweight division. Kushida defeated Santos Escobar to become NXT cruiserweight champion, and MSK has gotten in the way of any attempted retribution. Fans would get to see these six men battle in a tag match.

Mercedes Martinez laid her claim to the NXT Women's Championship, but she has felt ignored by Raquel Gonzalez. To get the champion's attention, she challenged her best friend Dakota Kai to a match.

The Way may continue to hold control of NXT through the NXT North American Championship, but Johnny Gargano fears Bronson Reed. Unfortunately for him, Austin Theory challenged The Colossal to a match where Reed would get another title shot if he won.

Robert Stone has been itching for a chance to solidify his brand. He managed to convince general manager William Regal to let Aliyah and Jessi Kamea challenge Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart to a non-title match that could lead to a championship opportunity down the line.

This show promised many important matches that could reestablish the hierarchy in NXT. Who would step up? Who would be knocked down?

Dexter Lumis has long sought an opportunity at the NXT North American Championship. LA Knight took that away from him at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. The Tortured Artist wanted his revenge against the loudmouth.

This was to be a night built around the future of NXT. Many of the stars on this card have rarely had an opportunity, and they sought the chance to take their own games to the next level!
