On the heels of a superb first night of action, WWE WrestleMania 37 returned to Raymond James Stadium Sunday night for part two of The Showcase of the Immortals, headlined by Roman Reigns' defense of the Universal Championship. 

The Triple Threat match for the title, also featuring Edge and Daniel Bryan, main-evented a card that also featured the intercontinental, United States, Raw women's and WWE women's tag team titles at stake.

After months of buildup and anticipation, several weeks of dedicated storytelling and multiple days of pro wrestling from every promotion able to run a show, WrestleMania 37 has finally arrived.

This is the single-most important pay-per-view of the year for WWE and its Superstars. It's the event with the most press coverage and the biggest worldwide audience, which means everyone is looking to make a lasting impression with their performance.

This year's PPV is the company's first attempt at a return to normalcy. After a year without fans in attendance due to the coronavirus pandemic, this is the first time the WWE Universe was able to attend the show live and see the men and women of WWE do what they do best. 

It will still be some time before the company returns to touring, but for now, we get to experience pro wrestling with reactions from a real crowd again. 

Saturday's show opened with the WWE title match between Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley and closed with Bianca Belair challenging Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women's Championship.

WWE kicked off its biggest weekend of the year with a special WrestleMania edition of SmackDown, featuring the annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and a blockbuster Fatal 4-Way Match for the blue brand's tag team titles.

Also featuring comments from Roman Reigns, Edge and Daniel Bryan ahead of their main event Sunday night at the Showcase of the Immortals, the episode served as the perfect primer for the two-night extravaganza.

NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver started off the Road to WrestleMania with incredible physicality. Night 1 included an incredible match between Walter and Tommaso Ciampa as well as an impactful main event where Io Shirai was dethroned by Raquel Gonzalez.

Night 2 had a dual main event. Finn Balor put his title on the line against the man that was never defeated for the NXT Championship, Karrion Kross. While The Prince has been dominant as champion, the former champion is completely undefeated in singles action.

Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly are longtime friends and allies, but their rivalry may become even bigger than that alliance. In an unsanctioned match, the two would brawl with intention to hurt one another.

Jordan Devlin never lost the NXT Cruiserweight Championship, but NXT crowned Santos Escobar all the same when The Irish Ace could not return to the United States. The two would finally fight to crown the true cruiserweight champion in a ladder match.

Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon have begun to define the legacy of the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships, but their major rivals would not let them rest. The Way's Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell had a plan to finally get The Poison Pixie his first taste of NXT gold.

After an impressive Night 1 performance, Bronson Reed had a chance to finally capture the NXT North American Championship. He just needed to defeat the NXT legend Johnny Gargano.

While Night 1 was good, Night 2 had a chance to make this an all-time-great TakeOver. It was all down to whether this packed card would deliver!

While WWE WrestleMania 37 may be this weekend, NXT had its own WrestleMania with NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver set for two nights on Wednesday and Thursday. Both nights had can't-miss cards, but Night 1 was sure to set a precedent that was tough for any show to follow.

In the main event, Io Shirai wanted to put down the one woman she had not been able to defeat yet: Raquel Gonzalez. Gonzalez has been dominant for months, but The Genius of the Sky has been dominant for the past year. Only one woman could stand at the peak of NXT.

For the first time since he won the title at NXT TakeOver: New York, WALTER stepped onto the NXT TakeOver stage to defend his NXT UK Championship. His opponent was one of the best NXT has ever seen, Tommaso Ciampa.

The NXT Tag Team Championships were also on the line as MSK, The Grizzled Young Veterans and Legado del Fantasma competed to crown the next leader of the tag team division.

Kushida and Pete Dunne had their own title to fight over. Both claim to be the best technical wrestler in NXT, but only one man can be the best. They would fight with everything in their arsenal to make the other man submit.

Looking forward to Night 2 of NXT TakeOver, NXT North American champion Johnny Gargano waited for the winner of the Gauntlet Eliminator. Isaiah "Swerve" Scott, Leon Ruff, Bronson Reed, Cameron Grimes, Dexter Lumis and LA Knight all had a chance to rewrite their legacies with a victory.

NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver had the air of something truly great. The black-and-gold brand talent did not just want to work as the opening act to WrestleMania weekend. They were looking to steal the entire week!

WWE will honor its legends Tuesday night with a special presentation of its 2020 and 2021 Hall of Fame classes, featuring the likes of Rob Van Dam, Kane, John Bradshaw Layfield, The British Bulldog and the New World Order.

Members of the latest star-studded intake will take their place among the icons of the sport, but before they do, relive some of the epic matches and moments that have helped define their careers.

The entire week leading to WrestleMania 37 is filled with events, and it all kicked off with Monday's episode of WWE Raw.

Before they do battle for the WWE Championship, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley both had singles matches against somebody they have had run-ins with recently.

The Scottish Warrior took on Baron Corbin, and The All Mighty faced his former Hurt Business associate, Cedric Alexander.

The New Day will defend the Raw tag titles against AJ Styles and Omos this weekend, so WWE booked a rematch between The Phenomenal One and Xavier Woods for Monday's show.

We also saw future opponents Asuka and Rhea Ripley team up to face the women's tag team champions, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler, in a non-title bout.
