Bell is what feels like an endangered species, a left wing Labour MP. She was first elected in 2019 and was Diane Abbott’s Chief of Staff for many years. You might remember Bell from our Christmas special last year.

I speak to her about the contest to be Labour's next deputy leader as voting opens this week.
