Today on the 5: The story behind the 2024 film Chime might be stranger and more convouted than the movie itself, but it was made by Kiyoshi Kurosawa so I wanted to see it however I coiuld. What I got was 45 minutes of intensely atmospheric and tense horror, which didn't provide any easy answers but certainly lingered for a while after it ended.

Today on the 5: Just under a month ago I got the newly released Anbernic RG 40XXV, one the many retro gaming devices this company makes. I've tried a lot of these devices over the last 5 or 6 years, and this one is the first time I felt like everything worked almost flawlessly out of the box.

Today on the 5: Over the weekend I watched a movie from 1989 titled They Call Me Macho Woman. While it has some very enjoyable low budget flaws, in the end it largely wastes what could have been a very fun concept. It's easy to watch it for free, but I doubt many viewers will make it all the way through.

Today on the 5: Logitech has announced a new set of hardware devices aimed at creatives called the MX Creative Console. While I find the hardware interesting and potentially very useful, I'm not sure I trust Logitech to have the software to back it up.
