Today on the 5: You may have seen news about layoffs at Bungie and the excessive spending of the CEO Pete Parsons  right before these staffing reductions. Sites like Aftermath and critics such as Stephanie Sterling have tried to say this makes Parsons a bad CEO, but I would argue the opposite.

Today on the 5: Mark Zuckerberg recently did a fireside chat with the CEO of NVIDIA, and during that conversation he made some irate comments about closed ecosystems. If you pay attention to his word choices, you'll quickly figure out what he's really upset about.

Today on the 5: A lot of people got heated over some comments from the new Logitech CEO over a possible "future mouse" the company is exploring. While a lot of this discussion is really just far future conjecture, the idea of Logitech charging a subscription for access to device software highlight a shortcoming of the company. People aren't going to pay for bad software, and that's a lot of what Logitech has lately.

Today on the 5: Once again, The Criterion Channel has put together another collection with a movie I'd never seen that caught my eye. The film is titled Cop, and it's a 1988 crime thriller which largely succeeds due to a powerful performance by James Woods.

Today on the 5: Marvel is apparently editing the trailer for Captain America: Brave New World to remove references to a plot point about an attempted presidential assasintaion in light of reent events. I thought this was misgudied when done in the past and I see this move the same way. There are rare cases where it makes sense, but this doesn't strike me as one of them.
