Today on the 5: I picked up the 2023 video game Robocop: Rogue City during one of the many Steam sales earlier in the year. I've played through about 50% of the game, and so far it's been a blast.

Today on the 5: I have read some wild reviews of Longlegs, the latest film by Oz Perkins. I decided to watch it for myself, and it's a fantastic movie that blends elemetns from a lot of great previous films together.

Today on the 5: After 4 (and a bit) seasons of absolutely incredible television, Evil has ended. My wifer and I watched the final episode earlier thios week, so I figured I'd reviewe what was a bit of a truncated finish to the show. 

Today on the 5: Over the weekend I watched a shot on video horror film from the '90s titled Vile 21. While I doubt it would convert anyone into a SOV fan all by itself, it's definitely one of the better example of the genre.

Today on the 5: Over the weekend I checked out the latest adaptation of the classic story of Strange Case Of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. It's titled Doctor Jekyll, and it's a fairly entertaining showcase for Eddie Izzard's acting ability.

Today on the 5: I had missed a new story about an ex Google CEO advocating IP theft a little over a week ago. Thanks to the AI Inside podcast, it was brought to my attention and I have some thoughts about what should be a very unsurprising viewpoint.

Today on the 5: In fairly unshocking news, Disney has cancelled The Acolyte after a single season. The series was apparently meant to anchor a number of new explorations of the High Republic era, so the show being axed has led to some uncertainty as to what comes next. Here's an idea! Try making something good that doesn't rely on or lead to anything else!

Today on the 5: The creativity app company Procreate recently made a declaration that they will not be incorporating any generative AI into their current line of products. As you might expect, this has been very well received by many creators. For several reasons, I do have to wonder whether this stance will last.
