In a game that felt like a lingering groin injury, the Packers beat themselves more than a 15 year old on summer vacation, bending to the Detroit Lions 24-14. The loss left Chris and Dave wondering if they’d accidentally turned into a horror film. The Packers’ offense was littered by dropped passes and penalties, looking more lost than a Floridian in a snowstorm. Meanwhile, the Lions played like they were on vacation, handling the elements with aplomb while the Packers looked like a team that usually plays in a dome. With each foible, it became clear: the only thing more dank and moist than the weather was Green Bay’s performance.

Posting its first show in 2005, Packers Therapy is the longest-running Packers podcast on the Internet. Hosts Chris and Dave began the show as a way of capturing the spirited chats the two co-workers had about the team around the office. The two have no pretense about being experts: they are just two opinionated shareholders who love the team, follow it closely, but don’t always see the Packers fortunes eye to eye.
The guys encourage comments and questions via their Twitter feed @PackersTherapy or email to [email protected] and read and respond to as many as they can during each show.

Chris Lempesis is back to break down Green Bay's mistake-filled 24-14 loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday at Lambeau Field. Unforced errors from the Packers - the offense in particular - were the main culprit in this one and he breaks down all the different areas where Green Bay shot itself in the foot. He then explains why the time is now for the Packers to decide who they want to be the rest of the season. Lastly, he takes a small sampling of questions and comments received via social media and email ahead of Tuesday night's "Emptying The Bag" show.

In a sweltering Week 8 matchup that had players melting like fondue, Green Bay slithered past the Jacksonville Jaguars 30-27 courtesy of yet another last second field goal. Despite missing Jordan Love for most of the second half, the Packers showed they could take the Satanesque 84 degree heat combined with the not-quite-saturated 46% humidity. Trevor Lawrence and the Jags wilted (even through they didn't have to travel an entire Time Zone like the Packers had to). If the season ended today, it would be a great disappointment for NFL fans who are expecting nine more games, but the Packers would be in the playoffs. However, as Chris and Dave note, the road for Green Bay gets steeper from here.

4 straight wins, and a 6-2 record. Does anyone see a place for measuring prettiness of the wins? No? Us either. We looked for this prettiness stat that everyone seems to be so concerned about, and we just could not find it. Maybe winning with the ground game and defense isn't pretty after all... However, it is how most Super Bowl winning teams win the Super Bowl. Can the Packers carry this championship recipe and momentum to a victory over the Lions at Lambeau? Come hang out and talk Packers with us, Packers fans!

Chris Lempesis is back to break down Green Bay's extremely tense 30-27 road win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday at EverBank Stadium. He talks about the groin injury suffered by Jordan Love and how it altered his performance. He then discusses the pair of offensive players who stepped up in Love's absence to help save the day. He breaks down a tough day for the defense, but highlights one player who made plays time and again. Lastly, he takes a small sampling of questions and comments received via social media and email ahead of Tuesday night's "Emptying The Bag" show.

The Green Bay Packers are coming off an intense last-second win over the Houston Texans and face the Detroit Lions next week at Lambeau Field. But they cannot afford to ignore Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars. We break down the key matchups for both teams in this game and explain what it will take for the Packers to extend their winning streak to four games.

Chris and Dave jaw about the Packers' narrow 24-22 victory over the Houston Texans. The boys love Jordan's clutch performance to set up the Legally Resolved Brandon McManus' game-winning field goal and ponder where the GB QB falls on the newly christened Favre-Rodgers Continuum. The duo also delves into the Packers emerging defensive prowess that stifled the Texans C.J. Stroud -- might this win against a quality opponent signal a turning point for the team? Chris and Dave share their poorly considered thoughts, blending their trademark sophomoric humor and what some might consider "analysis."
