New defensive coordinator for the Packers Joe Barry has been around for a long time and coached for many teams over the years, including two stints as DC for the Lions and That Team In Washington. How will his defense in Green Bay look different from Pettine's and from Barry's previous defenses? J.J. and Gil dive into Barry's past to answer that question!
The guys also continue their Packers in Review series, analyzing games from the 2020 season. This week they trek through the murky middle of the season which had many highs and as many lows. They take a listener question about free agent JJ Watt, then tackle the debate topic: after Jaire, who is Gutekunst's best draft pick? We take note of the early evolution of the defense, the seeds of Aaron Rodgers' MVP season, and find some areas that the team at the end of the year still struggled with.

The Packers lose, again, in the NFCCG, and all Chris and Dave are left to discuss is how things should have, or could have, been. What will happen next? How will the Packers fare in 2021? A heartbreaking end to another good season, and a bittersweet season finale with Chris and Dave.

Posting its first show in 2005, Packers Therapy is the longest-running Packers podcast on the Internet. Hosts Chris and Dave began the show as a way of capturing the spirited chats the two co-workers had about the team around the office. The two have no pretense about being experts: they are just two opinionated shareholders who love the team, follow it closely, but don’t always see the Packers fortunes eye to eye.
The guys encourage comments and questions via their Twitter feed @PackersTherapy or email to [email protected] and read and respond to as many as they can during each show.

Just like that, the season is over. A magical year comes to a close and the Packers now have some tough questions to answer, but Gil and J.J. are here with you the entire way through the off-season from free agency, to the draft, and all the way to OTAs! The first step in the guys' year review is the coaching staff. Matt LaFleur laid the blame for the championship game on himself and the coaches, saying "we need to do a better job."
J.J. and Gil go through the coaches position by position and review their performance. The most egregious offender has already been axed, and the Pack has a new Special Teams coordinator. Will defensive coordinator be next? The guys also answer the tough question "which one UFA would you bring back?" Listen to their debate, then vote on the winner: https://www.twitter.com/jjlahey

Chris Lempesis is back to break down Green Bay's gut-wrenching 31-26 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday in the NFC Championship Game at Lambeau Field. He's disappointed with the team as a whole, as it took almost everyone to blow this one. He reserves special anger for Green Bay's offensive line, a pair of cornerbacks, Mike Pettine and, yes, Matt LaFleur, among others. He thinks he knows why Aaron Rodgers was really so down in his postgame presser and he talks about that. He also takes questions from fans submitted via Twitter and email.

...and then there were two! A year after being dubbed the worst 13-3 team ever and losing in the NFC Championship Game, the Packers are once again 13-3 and one game away from the Super Bowl. And once again, they're facing a team that smoked them in the regular season! Gil and J.J. see this as where the similarities end, however.T
he guys are both picking the Pack to win convincingly, something neither of them predicted last year. Hear them lay out keys to crippling Tampa and shedding off their attempts to stifle our offense a second time. The guys also debate whether Aaron Rodgers managed to top his 2011 performance this year. Listen to their debate, then vote on the winner: https://www.twitter.com/jjlahey

We can all agree that not only has Jaire Alexander proven himself superior to Jalen Ramsey, but so has Davante Adams in a incredibly satisfying Division Round win over the Rams that has propelled our Packers into the NFC Championship this weekend. But, the question now becomes: is Tom Brady still the GOAT, or can Aaron Rodgers dethrone him as the Pack hosts the Buccaneers in what should be an epic matchup of legendary quarterbacks for the right to go to Super Bowl LV.
In our new "four-quarter format", tune in as the gang talks you through their thoughts on:
The gang pick their "Game Balls" in the win over the Rams
The prospect of bringing back former Packer Tramon Williams has everyone a-twitter
Tom Brady vs Aaron Rodgers
The key matchups between the Packers and Bucs
Join the Cheesehead Radio gang as we take you through all our opinions, our Hot Pockets and predictions for this week's upcoming game against the Bucs.
