Michelle first picked up a golf club at the age of 10 and grew up on the west coast of Ireland playing at Enniscrone Golf Club. She played on provincial and on Irish National teams.

In 2001 Michelle was offered a golf scholarship at Campbell University and in 2011 Michelle started her own Golf School. The Michelle Holmes School of Golf has been developing Juniors and students of all ages.  Their mission is to “create experiences that encourage kids to want to play the game FOREVER”.

Mary Doyle is fun.com personified. Fun with a ruthless streak when it comes to competition having being part of Leinster U-18 and Women’s teams, U-18 and Women’s Irish Golf team for the Home Internationals, for the European Championships and for the World Amateur Team Golf Championships. Combine that and an incredible level of professionalism to her role at the Golf Ireland Academy here in Ireland and it is no wonder she is trainee PGA Professional of the year for 2021

Yes, Golf in Ireland is back! This week's episode is a run down of those two great guys and their achievements in the Walker Cup last week, John Murphy (ep.74) and Mark Power (ep.77) who represented Irish Golf at the highest level in Seminole.

I've come to know Joe through Facebook groups of all places! Initially Irish Golf Noticeboard he co-founded and now Irish Golf Events group he runs himself. Joe is a stalwart of the amateur side of Irish Golf and has been part of teams involving Stephen Grant, Padraig Harrington, Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry to name a few. He is still an elite golfer in his own right and now running his own Irish Tour and Event business. We get into his origins in golf in a hurling mad village in Ireland, his social care work and how he made his career in golf work.

David Clancy and I know each other for a while now and we've wanted to create something together for equally as long and we finally have. Well....I finally have come aboard the ship as the time is now and the timing is right.

Having spoken to Amy Condon on numerous occasions in putting together this episode, I think she quite possibly is the most personable person I have had on the show. Driven, Focused, Goal orientated, has a plan but most of all is loads of Fun. It was great to hear of why she embarked on her PGA journey and her plans once achieved. The legacy she is building at Elm Park and it's Junior Section is second to none in the country, but most important of all is that the kids love it because it's fun.
