Another episode FULL of good stuff. Super to sit down with a man i've been chatting to albeit virtually with about a year! Cian Branagan set up his Dublin based sports and events agency of Forefront Management in 2020. Having worked on over 40 sanctioned golf events on every major tour around the worldhe and the team have a passion for all sports and events and have extensive experience in working with some of the biggest brands in sports. Super short and sweet this week, but FULL of good stuff. Massive appreciation to Matt Sandercock who amongst a flurry of estate, tour and media commitments still had time for little oul me and all of you listening in.

So what's changed at Mount Juliet a year or so on from when the Irish Open was meant to have taken place on site last year. It's the 30th Anniversary of Jack Nicklaus Signature design at Mount Juliet to boot so it is quite a bumper month if not a bumper year for the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open to be held at the estate once more.

Mary Doyle is fun.com personified. Fun with a ruthless streak when it comes to competition having being part of Leinster U-18 and Women’s teams, U-18 and Women’s Irish Golf team for the Home Internationals, for the European Championships and for the World Amateur Team Golf Championships. Combine that and an incredible level of professionalism to her role at the Golf Ireland Academy here in Ireland and it is no wonder she is trainee PGA Professional of the year for 2021

A superb chat about how Golf and especially Golf at the Golf Ireland Academy has an open door policy.

Yes, Golf in Ireland is back! This week's episode is a run down of those two great guys and their achievements in the Walker Cup last week, John Murphy (ep.74) and Mark Power (ep.77) who represented Irish Golf at the highest level in Seminole.

I'm really looking forward to showcasing Irish Golf in earnest this year, the course, clubs, members, experiences, pros, pga in ireland and all of those stories.

Thank you all so much for pressing play each week it really helps and I really appreciate it.

I've come to know Joe through Facebook groups of all places! Initially Irish Golf Noticeboard he co-founded and now Irish Golf Events group he runs himself. Joe is a stalwart of the amateur side of Irish Golf and has been part of teams involving Stephen Grant, Padraig Harrington, Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry to name a few. He is still an elite golfer in his own right and now running his own Irish Tour and Event business. We get into his origins in golf in a hurling mad village in Ireland, his social care work and how he made his career in golf work.

David Clancy and I know each other for a while now and we've wanted to create something together for equally as long and we finally have. Well....I finally have come aboard the ship as the time is now and the timing is right.

We can all be better in one or many small ways. I have started that journey of building habits with a while. Maybe you have too or maybe you are getting started. Something we are all doing is getting back to golf so maybe there are some aspects of our building better golf habits that will be of value to you.

Today's podcast is about adding context to that. Showing you that David is coming from experience, from medicine and above all is coming with best practices.

Enjoy the show!

Having spoken to Amy Condon on numerous occasions in putting together this episode, I think she quite possibly is the most personable person I have had on the show. Driven, Focused, Goal orientated, has a plan but most of all is loads of Fun. It was great to hear of why she embarked on her PGA journey and her plans once achieved. The legacy she is building at Elm Park and it's Junior Section is second to none in the country, but most important of all is that the kids love it because it's fun.

I hope you enjoy the episode and if you do, please let a friend know about it.
