Padres Hot Tub

During the Padres-Dodgers game, John and Craig jump onto the Discord server and chat (mostly with each other) about Trent Grisham's ceiling, what to do when Fernando Tatis Jr. comes back, and A.J. Preller's options heading into the trade deadline.

After a week apart, Craig Elsten is back together with John Gennaro to talk about the San Diego Padres. The guys talk a lot about Manny Machado, what the team has done since his injury, their thoughts on Blake Snell, some potential ways in which the Padres could get Hosmer's contract off the books, and whether or not this offense is good enough going forward.

With Craig on vacation, John is joined by three patrons from the PHT Discord server (Hosmer Apologist, John Precoda & Tevin McReynolds) to talk through the Manny Machado injury, what to expect from C.J. Abrams, how to fix the bullpen and how the team will survive until the all-star break.

Craig and John jump on the Discord on Friday afternoon to talk about the Padres with their patreon members. Yes, we know there are some technical glitches in this one, but the overall quality is good enough that we still wanted to post it!

After yet another drubbing of the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field, John Gennaro jumps onto the PHT Discord server and talks about everything being great. With every single player in the lineup getting a hit, an RBI and a run, there was literally nothing to complain about, so we didn't!

While watching the San Diego Padres beat the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field, and without knowing what news is coming for Fernando Tatis Jr., Craig and John discuss where the Padres could be headed this year and wonder if they have a chance to win the NL West.

John Gennaro goes solo, with nobody raising their hand on the PHT Discord during this live show, to recap the day the Padres had after winning an early game against the Rockies and losing a late game. Most notably, the Padres offense disappeared completely in both contests, putting them in a position where they need to win on Sunday to take the series.

Craig and John jump on the PHT Discord server and chat with other Padres fans about C.J. Abrams, Tatis playing the outfield, 6 (or 7) man pitching rotations and a lot more.

After a 13-2 win and a convincing series win over the New York Mets, John jumps on the Discord to chat with out Padres (and Celtics) fans about how great it feels to root for the 2022 San Diego Padres.

Craig and John talk about the Padres as the team drops a game to the New York Mets, but the guys mostly focus on the good series in Milwaukee, explain which current hot hitter they have the most faith in, and discuss when would be the best time for the Padres to try and sign Joe Musgrove to a contract extension.
