His crazy genius heart and wild-assed soul are always front and center in his music. He pours it all out with self-deprecating humor and a uncanny understanding of humanity's frustrations and foibles. He's a true rebel with a capital R. I drive hundreds of miles to see him play on a regular basis. I'm overjoyed to be his friend.
