ParaReality is back after a brief hiatus. I haven't just been sitting around doing nothing, however. I'll tell you what I've been up to in time. But for now, I'll only say that I'm very happy to be back behind the mic.
One of the things that I did was attend the first annual Dogman and Cryptid Conference in Paris, TN. This conference was hosted by the guys at Paranormal Round Table, and as you can guess, centered mainly around the Dogman phenomenon, but had a couple of other cryptids thrown in there as well.
I took my part-time cohost Eric along with me. He had never been to a conference like this, so I thought it was important for me to bring him along. We even managed to record an episode of his podcast, World We Live In, from the hotel room.
On this episode, Eric and I will be breaking down the speakers at the conference, and give you some details on what they spoke about. Finally, we will give our overall impressions of the conference, which in my opinion, was a big success.

May 07, 2022 Mystery Drones - The Final Report
Just before the COIVD-19 pandemic hit in early 2020, Eastern Colorado was center stage for a kind of whodunnit. Ranchers, farmers — and even a few deputy sheriffs — described mysterious drones flying in the night skies.
There are consistencies among the eyewitness reports that suggest these drones possessed longer flight times than most off-the-shelf UAVs. The witness testimony appeared legitimate enough to local and state law enforcement, and the FAA, to take the sightings seriously.
But as quickly as the drones came, they disappeared. In a statement, Colorado homeland security officials said they’ve received no new complaints. As a result no additional action has been taken.
Even if this Colorado/Nebraska activity turns out to be some actor that's totally innocuous, and harmless, it still is troubling that the government can't find out who it is or says they haven’t been able to find out. Activity of that scale going on for at least three weeks, that is of concern.
What really happened in the sky above the American Midwest in those fateful winter months, and what can the incident tell us about new technology and old fears?

Paranormal hotspos have given us lots of fantastic evidence of the paranormal, from pictures of mysterious orbs, class A EVPs, videos of strange mists, abnormal EMF readings, unexplained temperature changes and even the elusive full-bodied apparitions. But are these places now in danger of losing all these paranormal events that made them famous because the paranormal community is investigating them too much? Are paranormal investigators literally sucking the life-force energy out of the ghosts and spirits who live there? After all, it has to take a lot of energy for these things to manifest themselves in the first place, but what’s happening to them with night-after-night of a seemingly endless amount of people coming through their homes, asking them to show themselves, speak, move objects, or do some other crazy thing on demand? The other day I was looking through my collection of Zecharia Sitchin books and that got me to thinking about the Sumerian Flood Myth and how it predates the Biblical Deluge tale by around a thousand years. As I was thinking about this, I slowly began to realize that there are more than just those two tales of a great deluge – there are, in fact, several. The Biblical Deluge tale is no-doubt the best known of them, but did you know that all other tales of a great deluge predate the Bible? Not only that, but there are many other religious tales of some kind of great cataclysm that nearly destroys mankind! The Christian tale of the Great Deluge is just one of them.

Since SARS-COV-2, otherwise known as COVID-19, first popped onto the scene in late 2019, there have been all kinds of things said about it. Some of them are true, some are untrue. A lot of what’s being said about it is deliberate misinformation, especially when it comes to the vaccine. I’ve devoted more than my share of episodes about COVID-19 and the vaccine. All in an effort to discern fact from fiction, discredit all of the lies and misinformation that have been attributed to it and help tell the truth about what the disease is, how it is transmitted and how you can keep safe during this global pandemic. I’ve also tried to dispel any bad rumors about the vaccine, too.
I was thinking about all of this not too long ago and it suddenly occurred to me that this isn’t the first time that people have spread misinformation and deliberately lied about major disease outbreaks and the cures for them. So, I found what I think are the three top major Disease Conspiracies of the last 40 years, and I’m going to break them down for you. I’ll be discussing what the Conspiracy Theorists say, what the “Official Version” is, and finally, tell you how much you need to be concerned about it.
