Our investigators have been stalking the halls of Springwood Lodge for hours now and the few signs of life have been fleeting and far between. Trash in the hallways, dust on the furniture and footsteps on the second floor. Now, Alister and Saint are facing their fears face to face. In the snow and the darkness, right outside the ski lodge’s old abandoned chalet.

We last left Alister out in the cold, outside a mansion full of ghosts, on a phone call with his boss. It’s hard to tell what’s scariest here.

Broken windows letting in razor sharp cold air. A thick layer of dust covering the arm chairs of the lounge. For a place that the congregation of the Church of the Open Mind allegedly meets in, this place seems abandoned. The empty halls of Springwood Lodge are distorting Alister and Saint’s perceptions of what’s waiting for them. If anything’s waiting for them at all. The Springwood Saga continues as Alister and Saint explore Springwood Lodge together.

There’s a long winding road up into the mountains of Aspen, Colorado. The echo of the engine of Alister’s van is ricocheting across the silence of the highway. Patchy giants of black and white tower on both sides of your path up to Springwood Lodge and a thin wintery frost clings to the edges of your windows. It’s the dead of winter. It’s freezing out there in the great isolated unknown. this government car is the only sign of movement for miles, and Alister and Saint are utterly alone.
