Opening the show. A judge declared a mistrial in the Danny Masterson rape case Wednesday, as the jury could not reach a decision on the verdict. There is suspicions that the church may have had a hand in the outcome..  the victims,  who were members of the religion at the time, testified about the fear and alienation they felt about reporting Masterson, who is also a member of the Church.

The alleged victims also claimed the religious practices they followed at the time didn’t allow them to think the incidents were rape. Saying they were told to “stop blaming” him because according to Scientology, “You can never be a victim. Nothing ever happens to you without it being your fault.”

lawmakers are pushing back on President Biden’s pompous White House celebration, where 200 live lobsters will be served for guests. Some look at it as very hypocritical after Biden took office he proposed a 98 percent risk reduction requirement for all U.S. fixed gear fisheries over the ten year conservation framework is deeply troubling and warrants additional time for thorough evaluation by industry as it could ultimately result in a total shutdown of the lobster fishery by 2030.

President Biden’s rented Secret Service vehicles burst into flames in a parking lot just one day after he left his Nantucket vacation. Sam Brinton, a senior Energy Department (DOE) official, was charged with stealing a traveler's luggage in the Minneapolis airport in September, shortly before quietly taking a leave of absence. After the suitcase's owner alerted police, officers reviewed video surveillance of the carousel and identified Brinton taking the luggage before removing its tag identifying the owner, the court filings stated. Law enforcement observed Brinton using the luggage during at least two other trips to Washington, D.C.
