• Be conscious of the parenting you received growing up and how that has affected you
• The husband sacrificing creates the foundation of a loving home
• Both spouses should have vision and alignment
• Support from the community is necessary
• The Catholic faith is the centerpiece of life
• Do what it takes to be involved in your children’s lives
• You may never see the fruit of your parenting efforts, but that doesn’t matter
• Be open to feedback
• Be Holy Spirit led
• The messages your kids are hearing explicitly and implicitly matter and be attentive to them
• Pray for the Holy Spirit to fill your inadequacies as a parent
• Always attempt to repair 
• Root your kids in the truth
