"Are you worried they're getting worse?"From September 30, parents of children in NSW public hospitals will be asked that question, to ensure concerns about their child's health are recognised and acted upon.

The new rule is backed by Monash Health research which found a parent's intuition is just as important as clinical measures like heart rate and blood pressure.
