Anna lived a long life waiting on a promise from God to be fulfilled. It may have even seemed to others that she was crazy. I wonder if she ever doubted or questioned? But in God’s timing, the promise was fulfilled. When we are awaiting God to do something in our life, are we willing to be obedient to God for the long term or are we only willing to live in the here and now?

A dream and hope turned upside down when he finds out his fiancée is pregnant and it is not his child. Yet God leads and guides Joseph and ultimately we see Joseph and Mary by the manger celebrating the incredible work of God celebrating all that He does. Joseph is repeatedly following God’s guidance without knowing why. Are we willing to persevere through the things we don’t know and be obedient to God, trusting Him in all things?
