Acts 15. Andrew Mihaleff wraps up our Acts series by looking at the Jerusalem Council. We are faced with a question that goes to the very heart of the gospel - is Jesus enough? As legalism threatens to derail the message of grace, the apostles affirm the truth - but also recommend a spirit of love with respect to fellowship. Likewise, if we would trsaeasure this gospel, we not only see our own desperate need for grace, but the need to show that grace to those around us.

Acts 14. Ps Christian Kanht continues our Acts series by looking at Paul's first missionary journey. Paul and Barnabas engage boldly, sharing Jesus in the face of a pluralistic empire and the Jewish opposition to the gospel. The key for Paul, Barnabas, and for us, is that we will only serve God and spread the gospel faithfully and boldly, as much as we treasure the Christ who gave everything for us.

Acts 13. Dr Kevin Hovey continues our Acts series by looking at the beginning of Paul's first missionary journey. Paul and Barnabas find themselves working in the church, encouraging the believers - when God calls them to mission. We would do well to learn from their patient service. Until we realise God's "call" on our lives, we should be available - ready to serve His kingdom faithfully and missionally.

Acts 12:1-19. Ps Hilary Williams continues our Acts series by looking at Peter's release from prison. God is sovereign in this passage - while James is martyred, Peter is spared. We must remember that prayer matters, and to trust God will answer as He chooses. Also notice the peace in Peter's heart, who could sleep in the hour of trial - may this also be our story.

Acts 11:19-30. Anoj Joseph continues our Acts series looking at the beginnings of the church at Antioch. We see a people, who once fled persecution, that bravely influenced those around them for Jesus. We would do well to follow their example - to see ourselves as completely abandoned to the will of God, because our identity is fully in Christ.
