Everyone seems to have their own "adoption is..." statement that they relate to. But which ones are true? Which ones are lies? Which ones stir up controversy? Which ones bring comfort?

Over the next three weeks, Mal + Kate will dive into three different "adoption is..." statements and they are starting the series with an "adoption is..." statement that they have often heard, said, and relate to most - Adoption is MESSY.
