I sat down with Cameron Hamilton today. He’s a Congressional candidate for VA—07. He scored a few points that made an impression.
In my book I said, in today’s world, the candidate who is teaching is winning. Pay attention to the quality of Cam’s answers. There is a lot said here that many of us need to learn…or relearn.
I hope to spend time with all the candidates from VA-07, as well as other races, to give you quality information directly from the horse’s mouth. No fifteen-second sound bite here. The speaker needs to commit.
Cam and I had much more to discuss. And he may be back. But in the future, I will ask each candidate for at least the option of a full hour of raw video/audio.

We, at the P4B, have been going through the books that have meaning for us. They spoke to our pursuits, our wider world, or in some cases, were just high caliber entertainment.
As promised, I have relegated the book list to it’s own location.
This list will continue to grow. And you can add to it. Every reader has that book!!! It’s the book that spoke to you at just the right time. Or the author that sucked you into a completely different reality or mind-set, if only for a bit. You love talking about it, but you’re not sure who wants to hear it. Well, we do.
If you have book to share, or even a good film recommendation, feel free to subscribe and join us in Substack chat. It’s free. And not only can the P4B users see your recommendations, so can anyone you befriend on chat. That could be thousands of Substack users.
I believe that the pursuit of better content for all of us, and quality engagement with each other over same, will be a net plus for all our users. Engaging a writer in a project from beginning to end is a far more beneficial process than the disjointed scroll and poke most of us endure on social media.

The P4B Book List
Below, you’ll find not only the book list, you’ll find reviews or links to reviews of the works listed. You will also find links the when some of the authors appeared on the P4B.
Vietnam Combat: Firefights and Writing History by Robin Bartlett
Vietnam, like very war, was a unique experience. It has it’s own light, it’s own ethos, it’s own…smells. Among the first people I would meet, as a young sailor, were the survivors of that experience. On a slow afternoon on a signal bridge, or at the 19th hole in Little Creek after a beach op, it would be these guys telling their war stories to the untested.
Robin Bartlett, one of the first guests on the P4B, recaptured that same feeling one had back in the 70s and 80s, listening to the first-hand accounts. What is a common theme with most writers out of Vietnam was the simple humility of their tale. It breaks the listener of the John Wayne stereotype of war fighting.
While bravado and sweeping, meaningful action CAN mean something in mass conflict (Band of Brothers captures the link between a soldier to his comrades, and victory on a wider scale), the average Vietnam grunt had no such delusions. He discovered quite quickly that he was not there to spearhead a wide front and march into Hanoi. He was there to fight and die, or just go home - often alone. End of story.
Robin captures all of that in a series of events related simply and honestly. The P4B gives Vietnam Combat Four Stars ****. He is informative, honest, touching, entertaining and blunt, all at the same time. A valuable addition to your library.

I had to do a lot of research to make sure I was directing you to a good copy of the book. Some people sell one or the other volume, not knowing what they have. If you find both volumes in good condition for under $100, buy them. But at this link (unpaid), you won’t spend much at all. Just hit the button.
The Rising Sun. By John Toland - Just as interesting a read, from a slightly different perspective. Every bit as detailed.
My review of Imperial Japanese Conspiracy and a bit about Toland’s The Rising Sun.
The Things Our Fathers Saw by Matthew A Rozell. This is an extensive series of books chronicling WWII in both theaters and on the home front. Not yet reviewed. Subscribe to leave a review in chat.

Caitlin Clark as an example.
If you’re not a fan of basketball, I’m not, you should still check this girl out. She is an amazing talent. You don’t have to be a ballet fan to appreciate a tall girl leaping like a gazelle and landing on her big toe. Accordingly, you don’t have to love hoops to watch this girl drop tree pointers by the bushel.
I came across a post about Caitlin and excerpted parts of it for this episode.
“I heard about her on sports center one day last year.
She put up 37 points that night and was dominant.
Two nights later, she scored 41. Again, dropping 3 point shots from WELL beyond the 3 point line.
Both of us were like “holy shit, who is this?”
We watched her two night later play against LSU in the 23 women’s championship.
Even though they lost, there was something special about her.
This year we followed her all season.
She broke the all time points record for NCAA men and women.
She was dominant in nearly every game she played.
She signed deals with companies like Gatorade, and other major brands.
She helped set an NCAA record for ticket sales in several games, some costing as much as $3000 per ticket to go see her.
And her GREATEST accomplishment to date isn’t even any of this….
This woman….
Through all her hard work, grit, tenacity, adversity and character…..
Is giving MILLIONS of little girls hope and faith….
And BELIEF that they can be GREAT and transcend any doubts and stigmas put on them.
Watch Caitlin Clark.
And have your daughters watch her too.
She’s changing the landscape of women’s sports, forever.”
Caitlin Clark truly is a phenomenon. Nothing I say here is meant to denigrate that.
Elected Officials in Nassau County, NY are trying to bring common sense back into sports by filing suit to protect the county government from lawsuits should they ban men, dressed as women, from playing against girls and women in organized sports.
See the article here.
The judge in the case, a complete drone for the trans fad (she actually used the term “cisgender woman” as opposed to woman or girl) is set to rule against the county. The judge also said a citizen of the county, a 16 year old girl who plays volley ball, get this, “had no standing” in joining the suit.
In case you forgot, it was in a volleyball match that a GIRL suffered acute brain trauma from a spike delivered by a much more powerful boy, dressed as a girl.
But the real issue isn’t just injury, although the risk is real where power and speed are important. It is about common sense, and reality vs pretense.
I quoted that piece about Caitlin Clark to say this: If you put five Caitlin Clarks against five second string NCAA men, the men would wipe the court with the women.
Since most of academia are lilly-livered Lefties, even though they ALL see the reality of what I am saying, few would have the sack to do a scientific study to create the legal basis for what we all know to be axiomatic. In most organized sports, competition between men and women isn’t competition. It’s a farce. And it’s a cruel hoax.
Men are stronger and bigger than women. There are exceptions. And those exceptions in women’s sports do well. They excel against their peers - other WOMEN.
There is a similar case in Manhattan, covered by Our Town Downtown. To speak of “bigotry”, as this rag does, when people are trying to bring us back to biological reality, is the height of “yellow journalism.” The Our Town piece uses lots of other childish terms, calling Caitlyn Jenner (AKA Bruce) a “right wing gadfly”, for having an opinion that doesn’t conform to 100% the pretend dictums.
No, that’s not a pun. That’s a real word.
One cannot be accused of bigotry because one does not want to play make-believe with another person. If a man wants to pretend he’s a woman, that’s his business. But he’s not a woman. There is NO SUCH THING as a “trans woman”. That’s a faddish term for the same pretense. It is not real. Both genders stand alone, in language and reality, without the term “cis” added to them by pretenders.
You might as well accuse someone of bigotry because they don’t want unicorns grazing among their cattle.
On that same subject…
In a real show of shallow disregard for maturity, the White House is demanding news outlets pull down their reporting on the Easter Egg Roll. Or as Joe would say the Oyster Egg Roll. Several sycophant “news” organizations have done so. Fox News has not. And why should they?
In fact, the explanation offered by the White House is a real doozy.
The issue was the policy of not allowing kids to put religious symbols on their eggs. Crosses, “Christ has risen”, “I love Jesus”, ya know, Easter stuff! Free speech stuff. This is a real no-no. This year, a few newsies made mention of it - because it is a stupid policy. Who, among people worth listening to, would give two shits what a little girl happens to put on her little Easter egg?
When taken to task, the WH said, in effect, other presidents did it. Nice! So if Donald Trump set the Rose Garden on fire for Easter, would you feel compelled to do the same? What, are you people 6 years old?
This is barely a news story until you link it with the effusive, tranny fad proclamation issued by the White House celebrating the same day. A LOT of people thought that was over-the-top controversial. (Yes, I know. The date was a coincidence.) The in-your-face splashiness of it was an intentional insult to people who believe Christ rose from the dead.
I will guarantee you that if any kids showed up with rainbow eggs or tranny eggs, they were praised (insincerely in Joe’s or Jill’s case) for recognizing the fad.
And is the LGB blah blah flag still up on the portico?

We haven’t visited the cult in a while.
I happened across a blurb in the masthead of the WEF website. It sounds so benign, so cozy. Let’s pick it apart.
“The World Economic Forum is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation. The Forum engages the foremost political, business, cultural and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas. We believe that progress happens by bringing together people from all walks of life who have the drive and the influence to make positive change.”
The World Economic Forum is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation.
The key word in the first phrase is “economic”. The people at the top of the heap at the Davos shit show are all powerful people interested in the destruction of the free market. They intend to use the economic pressure on sovereign nations to bend them to their loony, self-serving ambitions.
Make no mistake, as I’ve pointed out on the Substack before, they will be the feudal lords. You will be nothing - serfs - who exists to keep them in the lap of luxury. Mark Zuckerberg’s cattle will be far more important than you will be. He feeds them beer and macadamia nuts. His cult buddy, Bill Gates intends to feed you bugs, fake meat and his GMO corn.
Remember when GMO was a bad word? Lefties HATED the idea. They INSISTED we let African kids starve before feeding them GMO corn, because EEEEEW, GMO! But because it was GMO, it was high yield, more food. Let’s use it to feed starving people. But NOOOO. It might harm them when they’re 67 years old!
But since Bill Gates is talking about government mandates, ordering people to grow it, the Lefties are all about it now.
And we’re just getting started. Look at the word “International”. They are indeed that. The cult, led by a bald German guy who likes to dress like a Klingon (what could possibly go wrong?) named Klaus Schwab, has gotten it’s tentacles into every government around the world. Through, George Soros, almost as powerful as Kingon Klaus, they now move the needle in our state and local politics as well.
Soros has poured overwhelming sums of money into the elections of useful idiots like Letitia James, George Gascon and Larry Krasner to name a few. They also inundate the local population with propaganda. They appeal to the most base motivations of the electorate. Honest candidates can’t be heard or seen in the onslaught.
They call themselves international in that their reach is across the globe, but borders, loyalty, constitutions, patriotism mean nothing to them. Those are concepts for little people, the future serfs…you.
And they are an organization for “Public-Private Cooperation.”
When you see that phrase, cover your wallet and hide you kids. It is NEVER what the name implies. They are not in the game for you. They are ALL in for themselves. And it is here where the real fun begins.
What the phrase really means is that the WEF does ALL it’s business through crony companies “cooperating with” (read purchasing) government whores. They fund campaigns, pay endowments, provide an unending stream of inside information to political whores and call it cooperation. The money washes back and forth. Their money into the pockets of the whores, your money into the banks and companies utterly dominated by the Davos/WEF cult.
More about that in a bit.
The Forum (read Cult) engages the foremost political, business, cultural and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.
It’s got to be true. I heard John Kerry describe the cult as a “gathering of extraordinary individuals,” among which he assumes himself to be extra super-duper extraordinary. And Kerry and Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg and that knob, Al Gore are absolutely shaping global, regional and industry agendas - to your detrement. I’ll get to the financing of it all shortly.
The messaging is, on it’s face, ridiculous. But the political whores pretend to believe it and use the color of authority to implement the lunacy that oozes from the cult. Green Scams, fake meat, feeding you bugs, AI, digital currency, electric EVERYTHING, smart cities (electronic prisons for YOU) are all being promoted with one goal in mind, utterly controlling you.
We will leave the imbecilic notion of getting the power for all this electric shit for another discussion about the green scams. For now, just know that is where they SAY they want to take us.
Imagine what life will be like when everything is electric, and the power goes out. You cannot cook, wash or dry your clothes, charge your piece of shit electric, government-mandated car or power your communications. You’ve got nothing.
In 1996, there was a real humdinger of an ice storm in Virginia. We lived in Gloucester at the time. The power was out for days. But I had a generator and a gas fireplace. A few of us had gas grills. This was the pre-stupid era, so none of us had EVs. Our neighbors had a gas water heater.
The neighborhood pulled together and carried on almost normally. I could have run the TV by alternating with the refrigerator, but decided against it. I cooked the Christmas turkey on a gas grill in the garage. It came out perfect. We spent the holidays next to the fireplace telling stories, when we weren’t visiting neighbors. And I and my wife and her mother had the best Christmas ever.
If that happens in the utopia these ass hats are trying to create, you better have MREs because otherwise, you won’t have shit. Your food will rot and there will be nowhere to go to shower.
These WEF people don’t care about any of that. They expect you to forget the concept of never putting all your eggs in one basket - especially the electricity basket. They want to be able to throttle everything you own, through their beloved AI, or even shut you down, if you disobey your overlords.
Doubt me not.
But we were talking about influencing agendas, right? Patience. All will be revealed.
We believe that progress happens by bringing together people from all walks of life who have the drive and the influence to make positive change.
First, eliminate the phrase “all walks of life”. They may bring in a guy who breeds duckies for poor kids and hang a medal on him, or some such thing. But that’s just empty PR. Duckie man will have no say in the “progress” these monsters have in mind. He’s window dressing.
Next, replace the terms “drive and influence” to “greed and money.” The organization Klaus has been building for decades is a collection of wealthy, greedy, sometimes sociopathic power mongers. These people have more money than they could ever spend. What they crave, the only thing left to crave, if you have no scruples, is pure power.
Companies like Vanguard, BlackRock, Citibank, JP Morgan and other institutions have thrown in their lot with the Klingon. Through massive buying power, they have infected the boards of critical companies, even entire market sectors. As the cults wealth grew they absorbed even more of our commerce. That’s where the money comes form to control government whores.
They have long been slashing away at the energy market. That’s what the green scams are all about. I’ll lay that out for you. Then just apply it to food, clothing, security, social obedience to nonsense, etc. and you’ll see where all this is going.
Years ago, the cult hired that knob Al Gore to spearhead the creation of a “clean energy” market. While greasing politicians, they sent Al out to preach the faith of “global warming”. While Al was preaching (and creating green companies he’d cash in on later) the cult was instructing their politicians to create legislation.
The legislation, now growing like a cancer in the the West, all countries who should know better, rewards companies that play along with phony green guidelines. Through a rating system that now impacts a companies ability to get capital when it needs it, the green scam laws make life difficult for those who do not comply.
Speaking of green scams - did you know that the Infrastructure Act was 70% green scam. Did you know the Inflation Reduction Act was all green scam? Yeppers. The knob, Al Gore made a truth poopie and blurted it out in one of his low-rent tirades in Davos in ‘23. He ought to know, two of his companies are where your tax dollars go when your government says they are “investing” in “green solutions.”
They have businesses filling out reams of paper, reporting their own carbon footprint (yeah, as if that were a real thing) and buying, from guys like Al Gore, things that “bring them into compliance” with the laws the cult had passed. We’re talking everything from posters to CFL bulbs (a truly stupid idea) to legal and administrative “expertise” in the green scam field.
If a major player or sector could not be brought to heel, the cult’s banks simply bought controlling interest in these areas. It has taken years. But with the crony relationship they enjoy with governments, it has been profitable. That’s what “public-private” really means. They’re not doing it for you. The don’t care about YOU!
As they grew more powerful, the cult soon realized there were more areas through which they could gain more control and thereby corner more real power for themselves. This has lead to a never-ending campaign of social and economic scams to keep you distracted or cowed. The destruction of sovereignty among all Western nations, gender nonsense, rampant crime, a constant state of low level tensions throughout the world, fake political polarity, massive media buyouts, social media and government censorship, exploiting a virus, presidential fiats (in the US), the destruction of the free market, digital currency, control of AI, the destruction of political enemies of the cult… These are all part of the same animal. And the crazy German guy is at the center of it, along with Geroge Soros, Larry Page, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, John Kerry, Bill Gates and that knob, Al Gore.
So long as people are thinking and acting freely, and in their own best interest, the cult can still only dream of a world where they are in control.
BUT…! How many people do you know that have bought into most or all of the nonsense. How many people do you know that continue to support people like Larry Krasner? Did you know the Soros just bought 200 radio stations in the US? No more free speech there. Watch the voices go silent.
If you don’t fight back, use YOUR voice; if you stay on the sidelines and hope I’m wrong, hope the crazy German guy will just change his mind…well…it’ll be lights out for you and your family and your country.
These people read Atlas Shrugged and 1984 and instead of being repulsed by the world they saw there, they got excited. They saw how, with a little power and money, they could actually create such a world.

Before we get to the main event…
I have had a few occasions lately to consider Joe and his wearing of ashes every year at the start of Lent. Easter Sunday was one more iteration.
Ash Wednesday has always struck me as an odd tradition. When I was really little, I thought it was cool. You got to go up to the alter, like the big kids, the seven year old kids did. The priest would mutter something you didn’t understand and you got a black smudge on your forehead. It was supposed to help you get to heaven.
Lately, I would wonder idly where the Catholics on the evening news shows, like Baier and Ingram come by the perfect cross, not a smudge on their forehead, OVER their stage makeup.
Ah well, it’s all lost on me anyway - a godless, fallen Catholic am I. But I do know the point of the exercise, and that is what makes people like Joe Biden so laughable, and at the same time, so pathetic.
I read his proclamation about the Groom Our Kids, Tranny Exhibition Day which happened to fall on Easter this year. If Joe were actually in command of his own thoughts and actions, he might not have put his name to it. That he did means he is the phony “Catholic” I suspect he is, or just a useful rube. I realize the two are not mutually exclusive.
But here’s the rub. NONE of the Abrahamic traditions allow for anything represented by the L, G, B, or any of the other letters designating militant sexuality.
I don’t care either way. I am an adult with an open mind. I wouldn’t mind being in Key West for Fantasy Fest. There is no reason anyone should celebrate or attack that view. It’s just one adult’s view. But if I said I want to experience Fantasy Fest, and then said, but I AM a good Catholic, one of the two assertions would have to be untrue. At least until I did Penance and truly did go forth and sin in that way no more. I can’t have it both ways.
Joe’s chosen faith does not permit him to do what he did last weekend. To be certain, he should not, even based on that faith speak ill of people or wish them ill. But he, under orders from his betters, who run the White House, went way beyond simply looking askance at what HIS FAITH has declared abhorrent.
Joe encouraged the behaviors. He celebrated them. He gave participants over bloated credit, as if being LGBTQ etc, made you an extra special American - a super duper patriot. He put his personal stamp of approval on it. That is the very height of hypocrisy. In the eyes of an honest person it makes the ashes, at worst a quaint tradition, into an insult to anyone who wears them with faith.
I wrote recently that Joe and Jill grew up near where I did. When they pay homage to guys who dress like girls, THEY DON’T MEAN IT. They use these people as stage props. And like any other of the stupid subgroups the Dems like to break us down into, the stage props should see the insult in it all. But many don’t. Too many think it’s real.
But the words that stuck in my craw were the references to the bullying of “transgendered kids”. In these words lie the greatest assault on reality.
THERE ARE NO TRANSGENDERED KIDS. Like there are no Republican kids, or Democrat kids, or Jewish kids, or Catholic kids. There are kids. The adjectives are added by parents. These days teachers or other adults have assumed the position of one who creates the adjectives. In a few places even the parents get no say in the matter. But to be certain these kids are created by adults. And in the case of “transgendered” kids, it’s called grooming and it is a VERY recent fad.
But what of the bullying? First, let us agree that kids can be very cruel. That’s because kids don’t know better. It’s one of the things we have to break them of as they grow. As an aside, that’s is another area where modern parents are failing miserably.
Second, in today’s world, all less-than-comfortable treatment, jokes, taunting. teasing are treated the same as real bullying, violent behavior. But that’s fine. We’ll let it stand.
This just increases my disgust with parents who can’t keep their kinks among other consenting adults. How shitty a person do you have to be to project your personal predilections onto YOUR OWN KIDS, knowing they will catch hell for it, just to feel personal vindication? So other shallow adults will think you’re woke?
These parents know, beyond doubt that other kids don’t give a shit about insincere presidential proclamations.

The Key Bridge…It doesn’t suck as much as you think it does.
As is always the case, we have had a major event, in this case a really cool bridge getting knocked down, and right away, the talking heads start speaking of the end times and asking all the wrong questions.
There is much to discuss with this loss of the Key Bridge. But what is needed most is for everyone to take a breath and check their perspective.
For one thing, speaking of the port and the jobs that will be lost, tens of thousands, has been spiced with panic. To be certain, some of the news outlets were speaking from a position of complete ignorance. Some knew better but wanted to keep your eyes and ears glued to their content.
But I was pleased to hear today that in terms of opening the channel to ship traffic, there is already light at the end of the tunnel. Yes, many workers will be furloughed. But it is a temporary thing. As the channel opens, they will be ready to take cargo most ricki-tick. Yes, the harbor drama will ebb and flow, since while the bridge is being rebuilt, there will be inevitable interruptions of the water traffic. BUT!!!!… Baltimore is NOT dead.
And try as they will, because they are whores, none of the credit for the return to normal we WILL see, can be claimed by the politicians who are fund-raising even today over the bodies still submerged below the wreckage.
What about the HAZMAT?
Good question. And one of the only critical questions asked by the media so far. But so far, contrary to the hype, we don’t know of ANY that has fallen into the river. The port and everyone else involved know exactly where every container was on that ship. With a simple photograph, counting the undisturbed or slightly damaged rows, they know what has survived and what may have fallen overboard.
If any of the containers in the water were of a scary variety, SOMEBODY in the information chain would have be now claimed their 15 minutes and leaked word to the press.
Now why would I say that? Because I have trust issues. I believe that a flash of fame is more important to most adults than responsible action. Still, there is something to be said about knowing the facts versus public ignorance at this point. In the unlikely case there is monosodiumnastyshit in the water right now, I also wouldn’t put it past the government to sit on the information. They might say it would be to avoid a panic. But we all know the more likely scenario would be to cover for crony companies, or potential crony companies as best they can.
All that said, I am operating on the assumption that the HAZMAT is still on board. And what may have fallen into the river is only as dangerous as the integrity of the containers, which are pretty stout. Don’t lose any sleep over that until things become clearer.
It wouldn’t hurt it the EPA were to insist on a manifest to include a list of the containers WE KNOW are at the bottom of the channel.
But the actual damage to our economy will be less a burden than most of us first thought.

Growing up, my Bible for understanding World War II Japan was John Toland’s Rising Sun. It is a highly detailed history chronicling why Japan was the nation it was in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. When you are done reading it, you feel as if the insanity that was WWII in the Pacific becomes a bit more understandable. It makes a little more sense.
Toland lays out the historical underpinnings that predate what we see as the main events. He talks about Hirohito’s father and grandfather. He walks us through Japan’s China adventures and abuses through the war and past the dropping of the Bomb.
Featured are the Rape of Nanking and the military mutinies and political strife that predate the West’s military involvement. Despite what I will say in the next few minutes, I still call The Rising Sun a good read. And I’ll leave links for you.
If the book has a short-coming, it would be not seeing the old man behind the curtain projecting the image of the Wizard. It’s forgivable. The Wizard in this case doesn’t show himself as a giant roaring head, surrounded by fire and smoke. The Wizard is the Emperor and most of his court, using the smoke and mirrors of Japanese subtlety and symbolism, oftentimes even with each other. The level of childish pretense between adults is astounding.
Much of the duplicity employed by these people had nothing to do with Japanese culture. It was the kind of dirty-dealing, under-handed politics that is as old and universal as mankind itself.
I spent 3 years in Pearl Harbor in the late 1970’s. Every day I could see the memorial from the fantial of my ship. One day I finally drove over to the landing with the idea of visiting the memorial. When I arrived there was a crowd of people waiting. They were mostly Japanese, mostly middle-aged or older men with thier wives. They were chatting away, snapping pictures. I left and never set foot on the memorial.
Back then, the veterans of the war were not the old men we see slowly dying off today. The fathers and grandfathers I grew up around had fought in the war. What stories you could wrangle from them were sad and ugly.
I regret never taking the launch to the Arizona. I harbor no ill will for the Japanese people or even the Japanese government as we know it today. They are brilliant and resilient. And all my dealings with anyone from Asia have been pleasant. But I was a different person then. And I don’t think my instincts about what the government of Japan was in 1941 were too far off the mark. I just had to work it all out.
About 25 years ago I stumbled over a 2-volume work first published in 1971. The book is titled Japan’s imperial Conspiracy, Volumes 1 and 2 by David Bergamini. It took my understanding of Imperial Japan in the 20th century to a new level. And it changed my opinion about Hirohito.
Like a couple of other books I’ve discussed on this Substack, this is a work for SERIOUS readers. If you are looking for a basic understanding of the war and the players therein - a conversation piece - you might find this book a bit too hefty. Stick with Toland or even easier works. There are many books out there which provide easy, and somewhat detailed summaries of events that are quite enjoyable to read.
What you’ll find in Imperial Conspiracy is the thinking behind the thinking, the history no one wanted you to see. I will give you one tidbit that won’t be much of a spoiler, you’ll see it develop. But it may be something you didn’t know: For all the hand-wringing and protestations of “not knowing” until it was too late, the Rape of Nanking, for one example is far from what you have been routinely told it was; far from what say, MacArthur thought it was.
MacArthur was possessed with a romantic view of Asia. He wanted to believe the best about the religious and traditional stage props surrounding Japan’s throne. I doubt he realized that the key figures, who specifically ordered the insanity that was Nanking, remained powerful allies, even close friends of Emperor Hirohito until death, long after the war. And the Emperor was not in the dark about any of it.
To go further would start to spoil things for you. But I will say that to speak of the people surrounding the man-god, and Hirohito himself, as being barbarically cynical would be an embarrassing understatement.
While lengthy and detailed, the true historian will find this a very engaging read. I give Japan’s Imperial Conspiracy four stars ****. It will be an excellent addition to any serious library.

An unusual read. But in the context of my post titled Beyond Orwell, VERY interesting. Perversion of Knowledge Vladim J. Birstein
A strong P4B recommendation: The Mysterious Case of Rudolf Diesel: Genius Power and Deception on the Eve of WWI by Douglas Brunt A real-life murder mystery.
An easy, fun read with lots of follow-ons: After Dunkirk by Lee Jackson. Part 1 of a WWII historical fiction series.

There is a paid shill on X, Brian K. He’s not very bright. He’s had little real-world experience. He signed on to be a mean girl on social media and say nasty things about DJT and the GOP. That’s fine. The First Amendment even protects knuckleheads.
Sadly, social media is where far too many people “get their news”. I have a news flash for you here, gang. Social media is not a good source of news.
Hell, even the P4B isn’t a news source. It is a place of brilliant commentary. And you will learn a great deal here. My predictions are especially valuable. But you need to ferret out real, raw information.
In the meantime I thought I’d inoculate you with the kind of nonsense that some people actually believe, explaining why when the Dems have made such a hash of everything they touch, some people still vote blue. Crazy, I know.
So what I’ll do is break down Brian K’s girly tweet for you, line by line. Brian generously shared many talking points issued to the drones here. So we have a lot to work with. This will allow you to do one of two things. First, if you’re new here, you will see a demonstration of how Lefties, almost to a man (?), sling nonsense. And you’ll be left wondering if they are actually stupid enough to believe it all themselves.
Here’s Brian’s opener, followed be each bolded phrase in the text. It will be accompanied by me spanking him point by point.
From Brian K: So you are suggesting we re-elect a guy who...
Oversaw less economic output than any of the previous 12 presidents.
Right out of the gate Karen…er…I mean…Brian is counting on you being under the age of 10, or already being a brainwashed drone, or just having a real bad memory. He is proudly claiming to be ignorant of very recent history.
Trump came into office with an economy that had been stumbling along at about 1 - 1/2% growth for eight years. His predecessor has no excuse for this. Obama took over with the economy at a very low ebb. By simply getting out of the way, it had nowhere to go but up. Had he done that, he’d have seen an even more dramatic climb back than Trump had delivered.
It’s sad to note that even as abysmal as the numbers were throughout the Obama years, already drab numbers would be touted as good news, then quietly revised downward, for 47 of 48 weeks at one point.
Trump, on the other hand did simply get out of the way. He cut regulation everywhere his authority would allow and stood back. He would later brag about it as if he were a genius. But it wasn’t genius. It was an elementary act of simple economics. And the economy responded. It exploded.
Very quickly we saw record employment across all the little subsets the Dems like to break us down into. Black, Hispanic, women… Bottom line: Everybody won. You had to hide under your bed to not have a job, as some Dems do now.
Covid and the ridiculous panic response to it, including a shut-down Trump rightly disagreed with, utterly destroyed the economy. When we finally got the Dems off our backs, the economy started to surge again throughout the last months of Trump’s term.
Then Joe, under the direction of B. Hussain, peace be upon him, shit on the economy again. They continued their multi-trillion dollar spending orgy and triggered massive inflation.
Was the ONLY President since WWII who Left the White House with fewer Americans employed than when he started.
We can file this under the same B for bullshit as the previous statement. ALL harm done to the economy was the result of the Democrat staged Covid panic. And jobs suffered as well.
It is beneath contempt that as workers were still returning to their old jobs or finding replacement jobs for the ones destroyed by the Democrat Party during Covid, the Regime is claiming to have created now 15 million new jobs. What a pack of jackasses!
Has been indicted on 85 FELONIES including those under the Espionage Act
This one packs enough absurdity to warrant its own episode, or a small book. And I may do that some day.
But what K is doing here is bragging about his tribe going all crazy Stalinist. He is of course referring to the perversion of the law in it’s political persecution of Trump.
The average 12 year old who doesn’t like DJT would look at this situation and celebrate it, as K does. There is no need for legitimacy, they just hate Orange Man. They don’t care what’s done to him, because they have no clue for what it portends for them, should they ever run afoul of the permanent governing class.
I’ll start with the last phrase. Espionage Act? Give it a rest, Karen. The ENTIRE documents case was a civil matter between Trump and the National Archives. There were negotiations and challenges, sometimes document by document, between the parties. It would have eventually been settled the way Obama’s 3 million documents, stored in an old furniture store, without security, for years was settled.
It would be later, when the “Biden” Administration, Obama’s third term, decided to add the documents lawsuit to a growing list of monkey charges they planned to unroll as it became clear Trump really intended to run again. They intentionally held back on all of it until they got to a point where all of the legal malpractice could most effectively interfere with the ‘24 election.
The document case itself will run, if pursued vigorously, many years. And the criminal aspects of it are plainly bogus.
Biden, on the other hand, never had any executive access to ANY of the docs he swiped OVER 40 YEARS! He has no defense, and Hur gave him a get-out-of-jail free card. The Dems and their media fluffers got all breathy and pissy about the bumbling old guy comments. But that was just a smokescreen. They are grateful for the gimme Hur handed them. As a bonus, they knew they could count on drones, like K here, to carry their phony outrage to the tribal masses.
The Georgia case is emblematic of ALL the charges Trump has faced. It was brought by a snide, self-serving, frumpy , arrogant, vindictive shrew. Just like the NY “fraud” case. I’m sure she was suffering with delusions of Giuliani. If she could “get” Trump for the Dems, maybe one day she could aspire to higher office.
The problem is she’s not a very good lawyer. She’s a politician. She was able to fire up her political tribe along racial lines to get her seat. And as I pointed out several times recently, her office is one that should NOT be elected.
And she just couldn’t help herself in terms of corruption. She then hired, at more than twice the pay of any of his peers, THE WORST LAWYER IN THE NATION, as her second chair; her boyfriend of many months, Nathan Wade. Then they went a little crazy spending the taxpayers’ money, playing hide the salami all over the Western Hemisphere.
Falsus in unum, falsus in omnibus. The entire case against Trump et al, in Georgia, true or not, is now tainted to the point of farce. It will become a appellate circle jerk. And you haven’t seen the last of the “Humping Frumpy” matter. Stick a pin in that one for now.
Has been found liable of FRAUD and SEXUAL ASSAULT.
The lawsuit we all witnessed is, in the opinion of everyone outside the permanent governing class (and their fluffers), a classic kangaroo court result. Based on he said-she said, without a single shred of evidence - not a day, date or (even the year is up for grabs), a court awarded the most lopsided penalty ever. People like K cheer this. They are tribal and spiteful. They are ignorant of the precedent set in the way the case was conducted and the award provided. It was the ultimate middle school mean girl exercise. It took place in mean girl central, NYC. There they pride themselves for being blind followers of the tribe. They see anyone outside the tribe as lesser beings. They continue to vote for the tribe despite generations of social and economic decay the tribe has brought to their city. If K and his tribe were not vindictive idiots, they’d have been as shocked by the legal circus as normal people were.
Letitia James, cut from the very same soft, vindictive blob as Frumpy Willis, RAN FOR OFFICE on a pledge to “GET TRUMP”. If Judge Gilligan possessed the least spark of integrity, he would have thrown the case out with prejudice for that very reason. It was clearly, from long before charges were filed, a political persecution. As are all the cases against Trump at the moment.
There was no victim, no evidence other than the nonsense cooked up IN COURT. The key witnesses in the case, the banks supposedly defrauded, said they were happy with the business they conducted with the Trump organization and would do so again.
This case goes away the day Trump sets foot in the Oval Office, and rightly so.
Had supporters who attempted to overthrow a democratic election
What are you speaking of here, Brian? The Jan 6 mini riot? The confused people being WAVED INTO the building and wandering around for a little while? That would be the worst “overthrow” in history.
I wonder why Nancy refused the National Guard that day when Trump authorized it and his security people strongly recommended she bring the guard in days before. Hmmmmm.
But the key here is your words “had supporters who…”. Every candidate has unsavory people who just happen to support them. People who support Hamas and call for the establishment of Sharia Law in America, support the Lefties across the board. And they are the second lowest form of life active in America right now.
On Jan 6, Trump told the people, as an act of protest, he and they had every right to make, to “go peacefully and patriotically.” I realize idiots like K think that was code for go raid the Capitol Building. Idiots like K think Republicans petting dogs is code for “Kill all the cats!” We speak constructively and they call it code, or a dog whistle, for stealing their childish wet dreams.
Put America in more debt in 4 years than any president had in 7 years.
Oh, pardon me, silly shit. Congress spends the money. The only BIG thing Trump demanded was money for the vaccines which the Dems uniformly criticized until the last day of Trump’s administration. (The vaccines must have been a dog whistle for something.) Then when instructed to do so, lined up like lemmings to get it. And, quite stupidly, they still line up again and again to get it.
The money spent, which K says was a Trump thing, was an orgy of political vote buying, using a virus as an excuse, and had almost NOTHING to do with the virus. There’s a virus! We need to spend TRILLIONS of dollars.! We’re still feeling the effects of that orgy and will for a long time to come.
Made $7.8 million from 20 foreign governments during his presidency.
There are two things wrong with this item. First, $7.8 million? The crackhead and his corrupt, now dithering old dad, would call that…I don’t know…Tuesday.
And second, Trump’s ORGANIZATION, which he was not running at the time, made that money from a legitimate hotel business. By contrast, the Biden Crime Family has ONLY EVER made that kind of money by selling influence and doing political favors. And the Biden money from foreign governments far exceeds the Trump $7.8 million.
Attempted to bring forth "fake electors" to overturn a fair election
All of the points here show one of two possibilities about Brian. 1. He’s a gullible schmuck and repeats MSNBC lines like a parrot. Or 2. He’s one of the people manufacturing the lies. I believe it’s 1. He’s a rube, an info guber.
One of the many ways one can contest a presidential election is to propose an alternate slate of electors in the states YOU might contend are problematic. There was an alternate slate of electors proposed in Hawaii in 1960. It wasn’t illegal. And it didn’t work.
When people in the Trump campaign started down this same path as a means of forwarding their legal fight, idiots like Rachel Maddow and Morning Blow threw around the term “fake electors”. MOST of the people using the term knew better. But they were counting on the rubes like Brian to buy and repeat the line.
Asked Russia for help in his 2016 campaign
This is my favorite one. I even embedded the video evidence right here. During the 2016 campaign, it was discovered that BJ Bill’s wife had kept an illegal private server in her home over which she conducted state business. The State Department IT people repeatedly asked that her email and ALL documents be moved to her LEGAL government server, or at least let IT “STIG” and secure her at home server.
IT was finally threatened by Humma Weiner to back off and stop asking about the illegal server. Well, the result was predictable. The server was hacked at least twice. This is how the Podesta emails ended up being leaked.
Trump, being Trump, made Hillary look stupid by suggesting the Russians find out what happened to the emails. As it turned out, 30k of them were erased from the server. That was just one of Hillary’s slam dunk felonies.
Stupid people claim this was an invitation to hack Hillary’s illegal servers. But by that time the servers were gone and everyone knew it. And they’d already been hacked. And everybody knew it.
Anyway, here’s the big moment.
Tried to blackmail Ukraine into manufacturing dirt for his 2020 campaign.
Uh oh. It looks like Brian is a Adam Schiff fan, one of seven anyway. It was demonstrated beyond a shadow of a doubt that there was no blackmail associated with a perfectly legal phone call between Trump and Zelenskyy where the two discussed an investigation into Joe Biden’s dirty dealings with Burisma and the firing of a Ukrainian prosecutor.
Critics at the time said a president cannot have foreigners conduct an investigation into Americans on foreign soil. While this is mostly untrue, he can, the key point in this phone call came when Trump said he was going to have his AG honcho things from our end. At that point, all questions of propriety went away. And there was no threat of withholding aid money.
And what was that investigation all about? Well, in fact we now have actual proof Joe Biden, in his won words, blackmailing Ukraine into firing the guy investigating his son’s business partners. And we have a record of the request, via the crackhead, that Joe intervene in that very investigation.
If we had an honest DOJ, even under Trump, Joe Duh would never have become president. He absolutely would have been charged and convicted of blackmail using taxpayer money to do it. “Well, sonofabitch…”
Refused to send federal aid to New York City amid the first COVID-19 wave because the virus was hitting Democratic-voting states hardest.
This one is funny on several levels. This refers to a number of press conferences where the since disgraced Gov. Andrew “the Schnoz” Cuomo, was whining for the federal mommy state to do EVERYTHING to handle Covid, while he and his Dem counterparts screeched like baby birds with their beaks open. Trump wasn’t denying any one state or city ANYTHING. And far less was needed than thought anyway.
Here is Trump’s response:
“We built you thousands of hospital beds that you didn’t need or use, gave large numbers of Ventilators that you should have had, and helped you with testing that you should be doing,” Trump continued.
“We have given New York far more money, help and equipment than any other state, by far, & these great men & women who did the job never hear you say thanks,” he wrote. “Your numbers are not good. Less talk and more action!”
And for months now I’ve been listening to the bed wetters crowing about how Red states fared worse than Blue during Covid. The implication (untrue, of course) was that more people died in Red States because fewer people got vaccinated.
You can’t have it both ways, Brian. And of ALL governors, of both parties in these United States, Cuomo did the worst job with Covid by a huge factor.
Wanted to withdraw the U.S. from NATO
No worries, K. I know a bunch of candy asses running around saying this. What he wanted or didn’t want has never been made clear. Neither you nor I can know what that is. But he did question our support of allies that take advantage of our support by not paying their agreed share of the burden.
That’s a totally legit stance. I support his bringing it up again. In fact, the a Foreign Minister of NATO recently validated the stance while trying to discredit Trump. She said that some NATO nations, not all, had started to gradually increase their contributions, and that is a good thing. She said it started about 7 years ago.
And here’s where you insert the loud game show buzzer. IT WAS 7 YEARS AGO THAT TRUMP WAS ON HIS FIRST RANT TO GET COUNTRIES TO BUCK IT UP! Now, he’ll be after the remaining deadbeats. Why defend those who take advantage? A perfectly valid question.
Invited Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to an in-person meeting in the Oval Office, where he accidentally revealed top-secret intelligence.
In discussing terrorists threats with Sergey Lavrov, that was the point of the meeting, Trump, Commander-in-Chief, with classification authority mentioned a threat to aircraft surrounding the use of laptops. I am sure I’ve written about this before.
In this discussion, there was no discussion of sources or methods. And the information given is the kind of thing that should get widest dissemination.
That someone then leaked the sensitivity of the source, or the methods by which we acquired the information, was the REAL breach of national security. Not the mention of it.
But I think the key sentence in a WAPO article reporting on the meeting was this: “The CIA declined to comment, and the NSA did not respond to requests for comment.” During Trump’s entire tenure, there were career bureaucrats throughout the intelligence services who thwarted Trump at every single turn. He doesn’t fit in their Harvard and Yale fraternity. If there were some there there, they’d have leaked like used rubbers.
Another empty hissy fit by Lefty shills.
Is Ranked as the WORSE president in history by dozens of historians in recent polls.
Big headline folks! Academia hates Trump. I can get “dozens” of “intellectuals and academics to agree that boys can turn into girls. It’s impossible, but I could find dozens in less than an hour to go on record supporting that.
Here endeth the exercise. It’s taken me almost 25 minutes to correctly bash a silly tweet.
What I am trying to demonstrate is that social media is shot through with garbage statements like we see from Brian K. You can scroll through and let that be your education or you can do the REAL analysis and find that most of what you see on TikTok, X, FB and elsewhere is complete bullshit. But you need to do the work.
I would love to be the final arbiter and tell you this is real and that is not. But unless you really understand the realities from real sources, and know when you’re being lied to, even that would be to your detriment. …sort of.
