Before I ding the Donald, I’d like to speak words of praise for Penn State. In their first game, they handed Nevada a pounding. They shouldn’t expect the whole season to go that easily. I mean, it would be great, but…

The Lions backup quarterback had a great debut. Brought in the near the beginning the 4th quarter, Ethan Grunkemeyer (yes, that’s a real name) drove more than 80 yards, dominating the quarter, and scoring a TD. His next two possessions were not as productive. But I’m sure he went to the locker room feeling pretty damn good.

It was a bummer that the crowd wasn’t wearing predominantly white. And they have started using blue and white pompoms, which from the least distance look grey. In days of yore, home games at Happy Valley used to look as if it has snowed at Penn State. Now…it looks like any average stadium.

To business!

Okay, sports fans, I have been calling balls and strikes on The Donald in a very balanced fashion. In fact, I would suggest that I have put my thumb on the scale to favor Trump, more than once, by giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Take the tariff issue. I am and always will be an enemy of tariffs. They are an impediment to trade and make no economic sense in the long run. But I did say that if Trump is just lording tariffs over the heads of countries who have treated us terribly with trade (that’s is almost the entire developed world), and that he just wanted them to open their markets without artificial barriers, then I can get behind the message. We sell our stuff there, they sell their stuff here, no barriers, then great! I’m on board! Threaten the hell out of them!

BUT…my man is still talking about all the great revenue the GOVERNMENT will take in as a result of tariffs! That’s bullshit!!! Like the perpetual inflation, created by the Fed, with our government’s blessing, ranging from 2% to 13% during my lifetime, tariffs are just another tax ON US!!!! Don’t you get it?

We will see an uptick in employment and a sugar high from imposing tariffs. But when the dust clears and it’s all baked into market results and expectations, our position relative to the rest of the world will be right about where it was in December of 2020. Other countries will throttle their trade barriers for a bit, then go right back to shitting on American goods. Because WE TOLD THEM THEY COULD STRUCTURE THEIR ECONOMIES THAT WAY post-war.

So my patience and support for tariff talk is nearing an end. The Donald looks as if he really intends to centrally plan our trade policy. That will fail, perhaps not entirely during his first term (if we’re fucking lucky), but we will regret this total nonsense.

So what’s new?

Last week, Trump announced he was buying 10% of Intel? What? FUCKING WHAT!?!?! There is not, and never will be, a valid reason for the Government to dabble in private equities! EVER! Of all the issues I have railed against, of all the things that could possibly create the political whores who have wrecked this nation, crony capitalism is at the very TOP of the list. And the government holding stock in a company is THE most naked and corrupt form of crony capitalism!

Until now, here’s how crony capitalism worked. Corporations would find every crack in the system to avail political whores with money. They would give them union money, or stockholder money, and say, “We’re just bundling. Our people support Barack Obama or Nancy Pelosi”…or whoever. Or they’d pay these whore to make speeches. That’s called an honorarium. Companies and governments around the globe paid BJ Bill up to half a million to give one of his vapid, pointless, boring 45 minutes speeches. OR…here’s where it gets real interesting…they’d make monstrous “donations” to a politician’s “foundation”. How thoughtful! BJ Bill’s wife was a wizard at shaking down foreign governments to pad her “foundation” for years.

In return, these cronies get unheard of tax considerations, contracts, endless wars (where people actually DIE to fuel their cash flow from our taxes) to sell their weapons, and government envoys to hawk their products overseas. This has been the order of business on Washington DC for generations. FDR put it on steroids. LBJ put it on rocket launchers. Then, B. Hussein Obama added a whole new twist.

Barry had a bunch of crony homies from Chi-Town who used to hang out the the White House. While they were all shooting hoops, while serious people were running the Administration (Jarrett, Klane, et al), this Chicago group would find a company or economic sector to wreck. This process would become known as Smash and Grab.

This was the play. Barry would announce his displeasure with a company and talk about slamming the company with heavy regulatory interference. His buddies would watch the stock plummet. If it didn’t happen fast enough the pressure would be ratcheted up. When the stock was in the toilet, Barry’s buddies would swoop in and buy it at rock-bottom prices.

Then the all the original problems would magically disappear. The stock, with all the same fundamentals it had before, would quickly rise back to it’s previous place on the exchange. The crony/homies would make a killing.

I’m not saying Trump has any intention of doing anything like that. I think he sees this move as a way to amp up efforts to develop AI. An honorable motivation. But it does not justify the GOVERNMENT dabbling in PRIVATE equity. It means the government is putting its thumb on the scale. It means picking winners and losers, creating advantages and disadvantages for companies which are not government entities.

But MJ, you might exclaim, we did it in 2008! It’s what got us out of the housing market crash. But, but, but…what about Chrysler? To which I would answer we were going to come out the crash one way or another. We’d have eventually been made whole by the market. And if Chrysler was a failed company, they should have been allowed to fail. Ford and GM would have picked up what they wanted from the wreckage. And in both cases, just because the government can borrow or print the money to interfere with market forces in this way, doesn’t make doing so legitimate.

In fact, I would argue that setting such precedents has done far more harm then good. Where do you think Barry found the balls to take over the health insurance industry? (For the truly slow, ACA had nothing to do with actual healthcare. It had everything to do with putting 1/6th of the economy into government coffers and under government control.

With the 2008 bailout, we heard, for the first time, the word “trillion” actually discussed among otherwise normal human beings. Immediately, and ever since, a laundry list of political whores all wanted their name synonymous with the waste of trillions of dollars. That’s because there are still stupid Americans who measure the value of a politician by how much money he pisses down on their heads. Has ANY of that meant a trillion dollar improvement in anyone’s lives. NO! The lion’s share of ALL that money was pilfered, wasted or put into the pockets of “NGOs” or “non-profits”. None of whom did very much for ANY target issue.

Now, it will become fashionable, and seen as visionary, every time a hack says we need to buy stock in Home Depot or Walmart or Widgets, Inc., in order to accomplish X. We can use our influence to do it.

Well, if you want X, pass a law! If the free market wants X, you’ll get it whether you pass the law or not. If you want an X that people don’t want, verify it with a referendum. Or run your party’s candidates on the issue. But to simply buy influence in a favored company, who will pay themselves handsome bonuses with the money? No! Fuck No! We never should have tolerated this kind of dirty pool in the past, and shouldn’t now.

Remember RFK. Jr’s rules of politics. I’ve mentioned them before. Any power we grant a government, we will never take back. No matter how stupid the idea turns out to be. AND… a government will always abuse such power.

A hypothetical: That snake, Chuck Schumer might whisper that he intends to take up important legislation beneficial to Tesla. The first thing that will happen is all legislators in the club, in both parties, will buy up a mess of TSLA. Then the announcement comes. In order to ensure America remains the world leader in EVs and that Tesla does things as we want to see them done, Senate Bill XX25 says the US Government will buy a whole bunch of TSLA! In the meantime, Chuck’s niece, or golf buddy, or whoever is running his accounts, has already bought a shit ton of Tesla stock for Chuck, and certainly for themselves.

The idea of government playing the market is an anathema to a free market system. And after the first non-emergency test case, it will be used by the permanent governing class to line their pockets in ways even they never dreamed of. AOC will be a billionaire by 2030.

So, fight this. I want the US to lead the world in EVERYTHING. But I want that in a free market that sees my genius. With two exceptions I know of, cronies NEVER deliver what they say they will. And even if they do, it doesn’t make shit like buying Intel stock acceptable.

Finally…

…the Left is still running around protesting the decrease in crime, while claiming credit for it at the same time. This despite the fact that ALL crime centers in the US are BLUE dumps we euphemistically call cities.

And even tough it crushed them in ‘24, they are still saying boys and be girls, and girls can be boys, and we should mutilate them to facilitate it. E-I-E-I-O!

I swear, you can’t make this stuff up. The loony Left is out in force protesting the improved safety in other people’s neighborhoods. I describe it that way because the faces at the protests are overwhelmingly white and well-to-do. Many don’t live in, or even near, Washington DC.

It is hyper cringey watching these morons trying to sing their protests. They should at least rehearse. But the cringiest part is knowing they are trying to get on TV having their 60’s moment and singing their protest songs. [GROAN]

After more than a week of searching. For an effective talking point in response to yet another Trump success, they think they’ve hit on something. Warning: This is even more cringey than the shitty singing.

Insha Rahman, at the DNC Summer Meeting is telling her drones to take credit for the precipitous and sudden drop in crime in DC since the deployment of 1500 NG troops. She tells them to not be timid and say the drop in crime we see is their doing! First they say slashing crime is fascist, then they say they are the ones who slashed crime.

While they are at this, they are trying to tie phony national crime stats to the actual drop in crime over a week in DC. For a few years now the worst cities have withheld crime stats from to the national database (reporting is optional). In other cities violent crimes, including murders, are simply being moved to other columns like disorderly conduct and accidents to account for discrepancies on the number of crimes reported and police responses.

The Dem party has redefined the term skanky.

Now, all that said, keep in mind the people who actually ran the Biden administration ordered thousands of national guard into DC, over a one-off mini riot, and kept them there for 4 months. There was not a word of complaint from the same hypocrites crying about an actual drop in crime on a FEDERAL RESERVATION!

Also, keep in mind, in an era of demonizing and defunding the police, cashless bail and coddling criminals, Washington DC is more than 1000 cops shy of full manning. So the guard represents a proper augmentation to the safety citizens of the District PAY FOR ALREADY!!!

Did any of you see a rebate check from the mayor for the equivalent of the pay and benefits of the officers who quit, thereby leaving the police budget with a surplus? Of course not!

At this moment, the Left has absolutely nothing constructive to offer society, so the concentrate on two things: Denying multiple realities like XX/XY, and screaming in all media outlets about ANYTHING Trump does, no matter how successful or correct it is.

Now, fair is fair

I always say when Trump is right, I’ll give him credit. When he’s wrong, I’ll ding him.

This week, he’s talked about two things that are absolutely the wrong thing he should be saying or doing. The first is the idea of sending the Guard into other cities to do what they are doing in DC.

DC is a federal reservation, therefore he is well within his rights as the Chief Executive of the federal government to establish a safe environment in which his government operates. If his successor doesn’t give a shit about DC citizens and employees of the government, he can undo what Trump is doing and give the street back to the shit Trump is dealing with.

BUT!!!!!! DJT should absolutely not federalize the Guard around the country and send them to cities around the country. That is a bridge too far. Just clean up DC and shame the Blue political whores in these shit hole cities and let their citizens see the possibilities. Then loudly back the governors and mayor who will call on their OWN state’s National Guard to come in, clean house and give local police a leg up.

Trump should be Trump and boisterously show the people in those cities what life can be like when you’re not hearing gun shots every night; where little kids aren’t dying every single week!

The other DJT boo boo is even bothering with the flag burning issue.

When I see people burning the flag, I have two reactions. First, I acknowledge the burner is a faggot, drama queen. The second is a desire to punch that person in the face.

BUT!!!! We live in a representative republic. The Supreme Court, created with that same republic have ruled, WHEN WE ASED THEM TO, that flag burning is protected expression. And, as stupid as the activity is, I agree.

For Trump to come out now, with so many more important issues are actually being deal with, pure base pandering. It also gives the impression of flailing. Something else I criticize The Donald for.

Dumping on Delco

All my 4 and 5 star fans know that I am from Delaware County, Pa. And the Delco I grew up in WAS worth bragging about. It was a great place to grow up. Not perfect. But better than just stable. There was pride in community, and crime, certainly in my town, still shocked when you heard about it. Now, crime in Delco is well…Tuesday.

There is a very long list of things happening in the county TODAY, other than what we’ll discuss today.

I pin all the decline on the county council. It’s Blue and it’s corrupt. I keep up with stuff back home talking to Charlie Alexander. He ran for a council seat until he was harassed and sued off the ballot by that same wretched council, including some Republicans, with the help of the Pennsylvania Democrat governor’s office.

Charlie tipped me off to the latest damage the council is doing to the Delco. They are in the process of creating the county word and thought police. If a proposed bill passes, it will be illegal to be mean to a list of “protected” classes.

Before we get to the specifics, a list of who you can’t insult or upset automatically creates a list of those you CAN insult or upset.

But what the proposal amounts to is if you say the illegal words or make the “protected” classes sad, you can be fined $500. But that’s not the worst part.

As in ALL places where such restrictions are put in place, they ALWAYS end up being used as a political weapon by the people who put them in place to increase and cement their power. Council ALREADY sees how they will use this new law (if it passes) to torpedo guys like Charlie. There are black people on the council. If Charlie calls them out for their actions, he’ll be arrested and fined for racism. There are fat people on the council. If Charlie opposes them, he’ll be arrested and fined for fat shaming. The actual content of his speech will mean NOTHING. The people who will be fighting him are the people who wrote the ridiculous law with the power of the police they can use to silence Charlie or anyone else in Delco who sees their corruption and incompetence, and calls them on it.

So, to the people on Delco council, if you wish to control speech, I will echo the touching words of Elon Musk, our new poet laureate and tell you that if you don’t drop this idiocy immediately, you can GO FUCK YOUR OWN FACES!

To the people of Delco, your greatest responsibility is to the kids growing up in your neighborhoods. The world is a tough place (even when people are not saying bad words to you). Do you wish to raise your kids in a place that teaches them to be frightened sheep, or a place where people live in the real world?

You remember the real world, don’t you? That’s where boys are boys and girls are girls. If a few kids have questions about that, we teach them to live their lives as what THEY ARE! In the real world some are athletic, some are not. Some are smart, some are not. We don’t stifle or ignore the talents or brains of the best and brightest to spare the itty bitty feelings of the others.

It’s your call, Delco. I suggest you learn the names of every council member and make sure you vote them all out. And take their multiple paid committee seats they’ve given themselves away from them.

Thin threads, crazy possibilities!

When History Professor, Mile Stroud was on the Free Zone, we discussed the thin threads of history, and the profound and sweeping the outcomes of seemingly small events.

The two events we discussed were Lee’s key decision at Gettysburg and the German’s siege of Bastogne. In a later discussion with friends on FB, I expounded on the Gettysburg pivot. For those who have not seen the two episodes with Mike, and you should, I’ll leave links in the text.

Here and now, I’ll provide a more detailed consideration of these events.

My point about Bastogne centered on how, thanks to the military “genius” of Adolf Hitler, it was decided, late in the planning for what we know as “The Battle of the Bulge”, to invest Bastogne rather than bypass it. Hitler noticed the cross roads at the town and decided this geographical feature made it critical to capture, thus dooming the blitzkrieg concept behind the whole affair.

In reality, Hitler might have read something about the importance of holding a crossroad, or had a detail of key part of a larger battle provided in a briefing…and it stuck.

Yes, if you wish to hold a specific area, capturing a crossroads town is a good idea. But if the German tank division had blown past the town, the bulk of the allied armies would have had to spread out east and west to pursue the dash to Antwerp. Since the idea was to push west as quickly as possible, the idea of holding territory should have been solidly secondary, and with the Allies in the area spread thin by a hard spear thrust, and with German infantry following the thrust, rolling up Bastogne might have been a relatively easy task.

If Hitler didn’t stomp all over the planning of an otherwise brilliant maneuver, and the Germans just REACHED Antwerp in strength, even if they didn’t reconquer the port, what might have been the results? Keep in mind, the Germans got to within 20 miles of their objective. Had they not wasted precious time, ammunition and fuel at Bastogne, they might have reached Antwerp before the weather cleared.

My point to Mike was that the war would have been extended for at least a year, maybe more. Even with an organized withdrawal, after damaging the port facilities, there is a chance serious damage might have been inflicted on the British units to the north. They would have lacked supply as well as the initiative. As the allies controlled the seas by that time, a more organized “Dunkirk” might have been considered. But as a minimum the allies would have been substantially, if temporarily weakened. For the Wehrmacht to have fallen back through towns like Bastogne, and possibly held one or two, the battle just to retake Belgium would have been no cake walk for the Allies. With Patton’s Third Army and renewed air operations, closing the salient was hard enough.

We’d have reached the summer of ’45 with two major strategic problems. 1. The western allies would have likely not have been charging to Berlin yet. And 2. The Soviets would have been.

In reality, this would not have been too big a deal for FDR. He was a sick man. He had a weird fascination with Stalin. But Truman was properly broken in by his military advisors and properly saw Stalin and a necessary evil at best. Churchill would have been beside himself at the very idea of The Soviets thrashing around Germany unchecked.

And by the summer of 1945, we had the bomb. Two of them, in fact.

Considering Truman’s position, I would contend that there is no way he’d have dropped both on Japan. He wanted to end the Pacific war, to be certain. But he would have been advised, correctly, that we needed to not only crush German resistance, we had to give Stalin a front row seat to throttle back his ambitions! We’d have nuked Germany.

The guys making the “Gadgets” as the A bombs were called, would have been working round the clock to make as many more bombs as they could find materials for. How much longer would that have taken? I don’t know. But the world we live in today would look so much different!

We just might have taken Patton up on his idea of pushing the Russians back to at least their prewar position in Poland - or threatened to do so. I feel confident, after watching the mushroom cloud grow over Europe and not having one of his own, Stalin would have been okay with just ALL of Eastern Europe. But the idea of satellite states would have been shit canned. In its place would have been the complete annexation of all remaining conquered territory by the Soviets. And truth be told, there was nothing we could have done about that.

In Episode 37, Bob Zeidman talked about how easy it was to get the Germans to cooperate after WWII. He said we had fought the war in such a way that the locals feared us more than they ever feared the Nazis. The Japanese had an even more exaggerated fear of the Allies, especially Americans. They watched us level two cities with one bomb each.

What would it have done to the psyche of a European, as crazy as Hitler was, to watch the Allied powers do the same thing to a major city in Germany? It would have taken months before a German could look a Yank in the eye! Germans would have been tripping over each other to turn in every Nazi not already in the run from Allied authorities. Brits and French would have been looking over our shoulders, eyes as big as saucers. We could have gotten even more out of Bretton Wood than we actually did.

The possibilities expand exponentially with every passing year. UNTIL…Russia gets their bomb. Now loyalties would be tested.

I leave it to you to play with all those possibilities. Tell me the possibilities you see after a nuked Germany or after the next “What if…?”

Bobby Lee

But what if we now skewed the timeline so that the World Wars would have never taken place? Or taken place earlier? Or if they had been one long war? Let’s go further back in time.

Throughout the Civil War, Lee had a reputation for brilliant maneuver. He conducted himself in such a way as to make his actions at Gettysburg unimaginable. He split his forces in the face of a numerically superior enemy at Charlottesville. And won. He could have done that at Gettysburg.

He quietly slipped away from Yorktown while McClellan dithered. This was a huge win for the Confederacy. He had every opportunity to do that before the night of 2 June 1863.

I contend that Lee was starting to believe his own press releases. As he was rolling up an impressive string of victories (or at least having the Union is complete disarray, he was quoted as saying, “I never leave the field to the advantage of the enemy,” or words to that effect.

The one thing we know about the Union Army before Grant took over, was their aversion to pursuit, after engagements, won or lost.

Now, put all that together. Lee, AP Hill, Longstreet and others are looking across at the union positions. Several were advising Lee to quietly disengage and beat feet to Washington DC, which was lightly defended. It would have been a very sound maneuver. Cut loose some of the artillery and a large Cavalry element. Then push supplies and the bulk of the army off. When the sun comes up on the third a thoroughly bloodied Union army would wake to find that if there is any fighting at all it will be a Confederate rear guard action.

If he were to remain true to form, Meade (Union) would have been relieved to see the field abandoned and would likely not react until told Lee was moving on DC. By that time, it would have been too late.

Instead Lee spurned this great advice. THIS was the time he actually chose NOT to leave the field to the enemy when he had so little chance of dislodging that enemy. Both sides were taking terrible losses throughout the campaign in exchange for a few yards of ground here and there. Some spots changed hands repeatedly.

“No. Whip ‘em here. Whip ‘em here.”

Had he taken his generals’ advice, and even if the call for Grant to come east had actually gone out, the war would have likely been over by the time Grant arrived. DC would have been thrown into complete disarray. The many weak sister in government at the time, there were lots of them, would have carried the day. Lincoln, if he remained in the city, would surely have been rolled up and carried off. Shy of a miracle that can’t be quantified here, the Union would have surrendered.

Before Meade arrived on the scene, the Rebel Army would have been in firm control of the city. There would have been no “March to the Sea.” Atlanta wouldn’t have burned. But much of DC probably would have, until Lee established his HQ. There would be no REAL emancipation. Slavery, already dying its own ECONOMIC death, would have been fanatically clung to by a South that had just fought so fiercely for it. Southerners would have smashed themselves against the rocks of debt and inefficiency before they finally let go of slavery.

We would have seen more violence in the west over which territories would join North or South. We were already seeing just that among factions of politicians and businessmen stirring up friction in support of their own agendas. When THAT hypothetical dust settled, which territories would have declared a pox on all your houses. Would California have stayed, or returned to it’s previous status as a republic? Would we have USA and a CSA today, or would we be four or five different countries between Mexico and Canada?

When Rudolf Diesel visited the States in 1904, would the industrial revolution be in the high gear he found? Or would it be stunted by the mess of “countries” he found here? Would have he seen a reason to even visit?

What if an independent South came into WWI on the side of the Kaiser? Or just remained neutral? Would France have been defeated by 1918? No Weimar Republic? No humiliation of Germany? No Hitler?

Much of those alternate realities all come back to, “No. Whip ‘em here.”

The Left is really losing it. With every success DJT or his administration pull off, the Left (predictably) gets louder, more irrational and more venomous. We have Fang Fang’s witless intelligence asset, Eric Swalwell spewing sewage online every day. Crybaby Adam Kinzinger is a talking points parrot almost as often. Newsom looks to be on the verge of blowing an aneurysm.

And every word they mutter is demonstrably pure bullshit! They CANNOT rely on facts or truth. They have absolutely no solutions to anything to offer. All they can do is cry and throw spitballs, that only stupidest among us continue to believe. I’ll have more on this soon.

NPR sent begging.

She is wearing a rock on her bony finger the size of my thumbnail. Public broadcasting executives have gotten rich off of government largess and rubes who will pay $25 per month for two years to get a coffee mug or some cheese dick CDs.

NPR can hold a meeting tomorrow, change their charter and start real advertising. They’d make a killing. They already have a following. But they’d have to run the business like a business, not a Dem echo chamber.

And the concept of state-supported media is absolutely unacceptable in the USA. Let them beg or compete.

Almost self-evident.

By all indications, the Democrat Party in the United States WANTS the pointless killing in Ukraine to continue unabated. The battle has been reduced to trench warfare. Literally. Trenches reminiscent of WWI have been constructed, mostly in the Ukraine side. But they can barely keep the positions manned.

Let me repeat: There is no scenario in which Ukraine defeats Russia. The Russian way of war, going back 400 years is to throw fresh meat into the grinder until you win, or you run out of meat. The Russian population is four times that of Ukraine.

Bill Riggio, senior fellow of Defense of Democracies and editor of the Long War Journal says that even considering the above realities, Russia has not lost as many soldiers as we hear from our media. Its more like half or even a quarter. And he’s somewhat of a Ukraine sympathizer. But even at the inflated numbers, Ukraine has two options. Ink a peace deal (yes, they’d lose the Donbas), or get plowed under much later on, after the casualties really do go into the millions.

This is not a morality play here. The little Russian jerk off, unable to believe his good luck at Biden’s dithering, attacked another nation. That nation fought back bravely. But because Biden needed a shiny object war, we have reached the point where we are now, with no hope of a better outcome.

OUR option - NATO’s option - is to fight the war for them or let them cut their losses and leave the table. No good person WANTS that. But often what we want has nothing to do with reality.

Finally, Cracker Barrel ceases to exist.

Cracker Barrel CEO, Julie Fells Masino, who thinks it’s still trendy to bash your company and your stockholders against the rocks of now dead wokeism, has destroyed the very essence of the company.

Just the name Cracker Barrel is the antithesis of bland, austere and GAY! Although a lot of my gay friends seemed to enjoy the place more than I did. The grandad’s barn look is what brought people back again and again. You can get pretty good bacon and eggs pretty much everywhere you go. But you can’t say the same for bacon and eggs and a little scarecrow with a shirt that says, “Howdy!”

Crackle barrel was a success story because it was the very definition of quaint. It has been a comforting constant in a sea of change for change’s sake. Little Johnny likes it as much as Granny does…and for the same reasons.

Lefty news says conservative commentators are being critical. Gee, I wonder why? After all, why would we not sneer at a CEO who says they are “bringing the front porch to PRIDE.” And in the course of the same conversation Masino says it’s not a Gay thing.

We are told this dolt is doing the queer makeover because people are tired to the clutter and want fresh and bright. But the “clutter” was the brand! And, I’m sorry, Julie, but you’re not going to find enough cis gender fluid furry thirty-somethings to carry your stores.

When the utterly corrupt, Nancy Pelosi picked her illegitimate “committee” to milk the J6 mini riot, two Republicans stood out as perfect stooges to play along.

One was Liz Chaney. Jilted by Trump, she was a woman scorned, a shrew. An amoral, inside-the-beltway power freak, she was ready to do ANYTHING to exact her revenge. This included coaching witnesses. One story went from Trump insisted if they take him back to the Capitol he could calm the crowd to Trump punched and choked his Secret Service driver. That, and lying about evidence, excluding exculpatory testimony and destroying evidence were among her contributions to the circus.

The other Republican rube was Adam Kinzinger. That’s right, crybaby Adam. One of my favorite punching bags. So desperate was he to jettison the principles he was supposed to be driven by, and be at the center of a false narrative, he put on a little show to audition for Nancy’s farce. He worked up some Academy Award tears over the fist fight on J6.

I have NO problem laughing at the performance. That man has shed not a tear for the thousands of kids, living in hell and getting killed every year, in the dumps we call Blue cities. I doubt he’s even spoken out on their behalf. He was a military guy for Chrissakes! But we’re supposed to believe he went all to pieces over tear gas and night sticks? Pull the other one Adam, it plays jingle bells.

That’s just prologue. I don’t know what party Kinzinger claims now. But I do know he has gone all girly, panty-clad Left in search of likes on social media and on his Substack. And by Left, I mean he has nothing to actually contribute. His TDS symptoms rival those of AOC, as does his bitching. This week it is on full, girly display.

The amazing thing about these Lefties, is they are so good at delivering empty talking points, it requires four minutes of reason to slap down every one minute of bullshit they generate. Adam’s whinging rant about Trump’s Alaska trip is no different. I will be about twenty minutes just briefly slapping down each goofy assertion and cock-eyed theory. It would take a fair sized book to give each point the thrashing they deserve.

It’s important that we counter the empty, unhelpful rhetoric in cases like this. Kinzinger, as is usual with his ilk contribute NOT AT ALL to, in this case ending a long and pointless war. I call it that, because as I stated before, there is no scenario in which Ukraine marches on Moscow and forces a surrender. For Putin’s part, the most he can accomplish is the continued killing with no endgame in sight. And people like Kinzinger stand in the way of people who intend to end it. We need to call these people out for the phony wind bags they are.

Kinzinger opens by saying the joint press conference Trump/Putin, wasn’t a press conference. Then he tells us what was said in the press conference. Putin thinks they have a deal but some things need to be ironed out. Trump says we still have a long way to go. But, Adam seems to complain, we don’t have a peace treaty. He also seems to be saying that the only valid press conference is a long one.

You see (now addressing the crybaby directly), what you probably don’t know, is in whatever negotiations that are occurring, there are agendas both sides must agree not to discuss until everyone’s positions are fleshed out. That wold include Zelenskyy’s.

If Adam expected Trump to come home with a peace deal already inked, then Adam is even more stupid than I thought.

“So, what did we get?” Kinzinger asks. Then he provides an incorrect answer to his stupid question. He says we are basically where we were already, except Putting gets to be seen as a hero back home. This is not only empty rhetoric, but it also underscores Kinzinger’s ignorance of power dynamics in international politics.

I’ll start the latter part of his assertion. To some in Russia, Putin will now be a slightly inflated figure having sat down with Trump to air his views. But it’s not the first time he’s sat down with Trump. Some empty-headed people like Adam will read much into that. The most important take away is that he sat down to discuss ending the POINTLESS WAR, YOU DICK!

Also there are still hard-liners in Russia who are watching Putin for signs of weakness. Traveling to meet Trump instead of being seen at the imperial host at the Kremlin could be seen as such a sign. But, like their pro peace counterparts, they know there is much more to the puzzle than that. They are waiting and watching.

And so what, if Putin gets a boost in the polls. Trump didn’t go to Alaska to help or hurt that. He doesn’t give a shit about that. Only stupid people, people who think our job is to referee wars and feed our Arms manufacturers give a shit about the other country’s internal power dynamics. Those dynamics would exist whether Trump was in Alaska seeking an eventual accord, or Kamala was cackling with NATO members making more arms deals. If an honest broker doesn’t respect those realities, he doesn’t get a peace deal.

And, “we’re basically where we were?” I had to play that part twice. I couldn’t believe my fuckin’ ears. “Where we were” on Thursday, under DJT is in a place where peace seems a little more achievable. Where we would be, if people as ignorant and weak as Adam were anywhere near the levers of power, would be the US continuing to argue with the EU over which weapons would be sent to Ukraine. How they can use them. Who is not giving enough. How much was being sold onto the black market. Kids would be sent into the meat grinder with no end in sight. Russia would eventually turn Ukraine into rubble - then bounce the rubble. That is the contribution of the Left to date - because they care. Sniff. Sniff. Sigh.

Now Adam is a geopolitical strategist.

Kinzinger goes on to say that the Russian economy is in the tank. They had to reduce military signing bonuses? Fucking what? Signing bonuses? If you are paying ANY, you have money. If the money was hopelessly short, there would be no bonuses! There would be mandatory military service - period!

And yes, Russia is in deep financial trouble. I’ve stated that myself many times here on the P4B. BUT - they are in much better financial shape than they were before the war. As I argued from the end of 2021, when Putin was clearly staging for an offensive, until today, if we didn’t want war in Ukraine, we needed to kneecap Putin NOW. Take away his ability to do business anywhere. Not with malice. But with intent.

But Biden wanted his shiny object war while at the same time wanted to appear to be doing something about it. Oh, dearie-dear. What to do.

It was decided that we would telegraph the sanctions we would put on Russia, and exempt criminal Friends of the Crackhead, like the mayor of Moscow, a criminal oligarch. Then, to make it easy for Russia to move money around, Biden would spend the next two years slowly laying on the sanctions.

If he wanted to prevent the war, he’d have dropped the whole load on Putin before Russia finished massing troops. And Biden definitely would have wrecked Putin’s oil industry. There would have been no larger war.

I say larger war because Kiev was already fighting battles regularly on the Donbas since 2014.

But Kinzinger wants to diminish Trump’s effort because he didn’t end the fighting already and went to Alaska and didn’t discuss details with the media before a sit-down with Zelenskyy. Adam is an amateur - even more so than me.

More Kinzinger insights

Trump had a line up of sanctions to drop on Russia if he couldn’t get them to the table. He started with a 90 day window. When it looked like Putin wasn’t serious, he shortened the window to about 55 days. That got Vladimir’s attention. At the last possible second, Putin agreed to meet and talk, and Trump delayed the new sanction regime. That is all standard Trump. It’s how he has gotten massive concessions from around the world in the last 7 months.

But armchair quarterbacks, who couldn’t play the game if it came with handles and a set of instructions, like Kinzinger, are criticizing those moves by DJT. Could that be called ironic hubris? I’ll have to check my phraseology.

Crybaby employs a recent addition to the Left adolescent lexicon with the TACO bullshit. It means Trump Always Chickens Out. In reality, what Trump does with tariff threats gets reactions from target countries. When that happens Trump holds his fire. If that doesn’t work, the threats are put back on with dates attached. He’s gotten well over 100 countries, including China to have conversations we’ve not had in years. Trump isn’t chickening out. He is simply demonstrating how much smarter he is than, say, I don’t know…ADAM KINZINGER?

On the subject of tariffs, Crybaby did acknowledge that Trump put a 25% tariff in place against India if they continued to by Russian oil. Kinzinger whined that it didn’t seem to do very much. Well, again speaking directly to the crybaby, it had only been a week at the time of the Trump/Putin meeting and we have to monitor the markets to see if India is still buying. If they are the tariff is put on them and it will be up to them to deal with it. Only a total novice or a dishonest spitballer would not get that.

As I said at the beginning, it takes longer to unfuck what a Lefty says than it takes for him to say it. I am only about 2 minutes into a 5 minute video. There is much more that could be said about each subject, but the stupidity of each point so far is obvious with the least thought, so I am going through list as efficiently as I can.

And this might be the low point. It’s hard to say. I have a long checklist here. This moron, this low rent commentator, has the audacity to criticize the assignment of Steve Witcoff to get the ball rolling with Putin. This RESULTED in the Alaska meet. Witcoff also got several countries together to discuss peace in Gaza and dealing with Iran. That resulted in several Middle Eastern countries backing off their support for the Hamas nut bags and hamstrung Iran from any real moves after we rearranged a mountain for them.

There is criticism of Witcoff for not following diplomatic protocol in his efforts to end conflicts. You know, the protocol that the Biden cabal used to do NOTHING in Ukraine or Gaza throughout his sorry presidency. The hard fact is, with or without Wycoff, Trump has brought together warring factions in six conflicts. Five have cooled or signed treaties. The sixth are at least talking to Trump about an endgame anyway.

But for Adam to call Witkoff “one of the dumbest men possible” would be like Fani Willis calling Melania Trump “one of the least attractive women possible”. Even my girl, Fani, isn’t that stupid!

Again, at this point, the crybaby says no progress was made in Alaska. Putin said I believe we have a framework for a deal. Trump said we’ve made real progress but we have a long way to go. To these aging eyes, Adam - BOY - that’s progress. The fact that they didn’t itemize terms, in the absence of Ukraine, may get Adam’s panties in a bunch, but that’s how the process inches forward.

Crybaby, trying to sound like a smart guy says, “Net-net”…Alaska befits Putin. YES, douche bag! In a negotiation, if their is no benefit for one party, the negotiation fails. Alaska put Putin in the peace game. Now we have to keep him there. Weak-ass hand wringing and Lefty bitching will not do that.

Then, for a military guy, Adam makes his MOST IGNORANT statement of the video. “Ukraine will stop fighting when Ukraine believes it’s time. They get to determine their future.” That is a militarily idiotic assertions. Ukraine’s future depends on more than their mood at any given moment. Without Trump working for a settlement, Ukraine will quit fighting when they no longer have the ability to resist Russia. And that day is not far off. But their is no scenario in which Ukraine can dictate terms or conquer Moscow, no matter how much aid we give them. So, without Trump, Ukraine will quit fighting when Ukraine is conquered. DJT is offering both parties an off-ramp that will look very much like the situation in 2022. Unhappy for Ukraine, but there really is nothing they can do about that. And it isn’t our job to produce a different outcome.

The one statement Kinzinger makes at this point has truth to it is, “If Ukraine quit fighting today, they would lose their country”. Yep. And if they fight on and people who do nothing but oppose without a reasonable alternative thwart Trump’s efforts, Ukraine WILL still lose their country after hundreds of thousands more people die for no reason. So even when Adam is right, he’s full of shit.

More military ignorance

“The idea that Russia is winning is insane.” Kinzinger makes the weak-minded argument that whoever holds or takes the most ground at a given point is winning. Lots of people view warfare this way. He insists “Ukraine is not losing.” He cites the loss of a million Russians (meh, maybe. I doubt it.) But I have to say, if the enemy in on your turf, and you have NO HOPE of ever defeating that enemy, you ARE in a losing position. You damn sure aren’t winning anything!

“For a defending country to win, all a defending country has to do is keep defending itself!” Where did this ass hat learn his military theory? Is he saying to have peace all Ukraine has to do is keep feeding its young to the meat grinder until Russia runs out of bullets? And is that a WIN?!?! He must have snorted two fat lines and knocked back three shots before making this video.

If your adversary runs out of steam and walks away, still pretty much the same country it was before the conflict, and you are ruling over rubble, denuded of your young males, you sure as FUCK didn’t win anything. And THAT is Ukraines best-case future should they follow the Adam Kinzinger school of military thinking.

A stupid assessment, followed by a stupid assertion:

“Bottom line: We don’t know what happened here.” But you just spent five minutes analyzing what you said did happen. But, yeah, you did say earlier that nothing happened here. Geez, Crybaby! Make up your mind!

“Donald Trump shows that certainly he’s not good at this stuff…” Let me recap. Five settlements, two of which the entire world gave up on Sudan and Armenia v Azerbaijan. Now the sixth and biggest conflict of all, the parties on both sides are talking for the first time since Biden wrecked the peace agreement reached at the beginning of the war. He’s goddamn good at it.

“…but secondarily, this war is just going to drag on.” It may. If the arms manufacturers in the West have their way, this war will never end. But if Zelenskyy and Putin each get at least the top two of their five major demands, under Trump’s good offices, this war is history, brother. And in the video under review Adam Kinzinger has shown himself unqualified to assess the possibilities.

“As of now, the United States is not doing what is necessary to end this war, which is to ensure Russia loses.” I must now restate: Trying to ensure Russia loses is exactly how we cause the war to drag on! Is this guy even self-aware? The only thing that is NECESSARY for US to do is to work in our own self-interest. And Russian wheat from Ukraine and Ukrainian wheat from Ukraine is the same wheat.

The fact is, Crybaby, Trump is the only man leading an extra effort to end a pointless war between two hopelessly corrupt governments. There is nothing legitimately demanding he do ANYTHING, shy of his own compassion for the soldiers being killed for no reason.

I thank my personal god that you were not a general in World War II. You have a warped view of wars, and how to fight them.

This show was in can last Friday. Then DJT beat me to the punch. I thought if he was serious about a DC takeover of any kind, it wouldn’t happen for months. Oh, well.

Watch as the Lefty hand wringers cry about how awful it is the Trump is taking over the policing of the District. The Left has been doing it to cities all over the country and making crime worse by labeling any real law enforcement as “racist”.

Well, kiddies, the shoe’s on the other foot now! And this will reduce crime, instead of encouraging it.

It’s Thursday afternoon. I’m sitting at a picnic table at the undisclosed location. It’s in the seventies, overcast and breezy. And though under-dressed, I won’t be chilly because my giant, superior brain will generate enough heat to keep even my tootsies warm. It’s nice to be me.

The Mamdani Millstone

Last week, we saw Senators Elissa Slotkin and Liz Warren BOTH come out and enthusiastically endorse the worst disaster that might ever happen in New York City - Zohran Mamdani. For weeks Dems have been very uncomfortable even hearing Mamdani’s name mentioned. The majority are at a complete loss at what to say. They have a lunatic who has been successful at winning the Dem primary in NYC. As a party, the Dems have absolutely nothing to contribute the the national discourse other than Orange Man Bad! and We love illegals!

Because their party, and they as individuals lack substance, it’s just too darn hard for them to say the obvious: Don’t be an idiot! Of course I can’t support a socialist Jihadi for mayor! I may be a do-nothing liberal, but I know Mamdani would be far worse for any city.

Muttering nothing of substance on the matter seemed the be the comfort zone for the wider party. Then two of their prime idiots took center stage and kicked over everybody’s Wheaties.

Slotkin defended the NYC Dem party’s total cock up by bringing up people’s kitchen table budget. The obvious implication is Slotkin, like Mamdani, believes it’s a GOOD thing that he plans to give takers everything he possibly can, thereby helping them with their “kitchen table budget”.

But once the government is supporting someone, I no longer CARE about their kitchen table anything! I care about the working families, the makers and how they are struggling to keep body and soul together. The LAST thing they need is a city run grocery store or free bus rides. They, the most important part of our economy, need government off their backs and out of their lives to the absolute greatest extent possible. They need lower taxes in a city with fewer gimmes to takers.

The day before Slotkin’s stupid remarks, we had Elizabeth “pow-wow” Warren gleefully jumping on the Mamdani band wagon. This is not because she believes in him. She doesn’t. She’s one of those nobodies who has gotten rich off her Senate seat, selling influence, “creative” stock trading, etc. She knows that where she lives, the free market is king and dirty little people can stay in the city. But she is also trying to read the national political tea leaves. Mamdani is a headline generator, no matter how stupid or dangerous she thinks he really is. And the damage he’ll do after this election will be confined to New York.

Next election, meh. Liz will deal with that when the time comes. And she knows her neighborhood will never suffer the pain an Islamist pinko can create. Those guilty white liberals will be giving the pinkos money to stay out of their walled communities and just destroy the lives of the great unwashed.

But all this can sink the Democrat Party. They are doubling and tripling down on all the things they admit cost them the election last November. In fact they are a factor crazier and further from mainstream America then they were before.

This is a huge opportunity for the GOP. There are a ton and one of issues we need to hammer away on for the next 15 months. But I believe the most important thing we need to do between now and the ‘26 elections is re-stigmatize being a healthy, working-age taker. We need to re-stigmatize being a deadbeat dad. We need to paint anyone who backs Mamdani as the anti-American, anti-free market, America hating failures they really are.

And don’t be a schmuck with the “moderate” talk they are dishing right now about Mamdani. Look, he’s cute. He wears a business suit. His parents are rich! The nut bag who took over Syria is a “moderate” from ISIS. (That’s an oxymoron.). He says he’ll be a real nice Islamic guy. Hell, he even roped Trump in with the image thing. And Bin laden was educated in the West, had a cushy life and was from an extremely wealthy family. None of that means shit when the “religion of peace” is in play.

Mamdani is a rabid anti-semite and Gaza supporter. And he is wildly socialist. The ONLY way a man like that can maintain power is through authoritarianism. And he’ll do just that. As soon as inaugural is over, they will announce everything is worse than we thought. We have to take even more radical steps, including experimenting with Sharia in parts of the city.

Doubt me not!

This message should be a drumbeat. And this starts with Warren and Slotkin. Backing Mamdani and the nonsense he promises should be a millstone around the necks of every Democrat for the next four years.

It will be the job of every THINKING citizen to completely trounce these people. We can’t forget about the nut case in Minnesota who thinks he’s more Somalian than American. OR… You can watch, as large areas of our cities turn into Sharia loony bins. Don’t believe me? Look where Dearborn is headed.

Po River Supports the P4B/ Free Zone

The DC thing

I was speaking to a neighbor at the undisclosed location today. When discussing DC I said I rarely go there anymore because it has become such a crime infested dump. And I can tell you why. More on that in a minute.

So, DJT is threatening to take over the administration of the District of Columbia, which never should have been made a municipality to begin with. I would say whatever power Congress was stupid enough to cede to the Executive, regarding DC, should be exercised to the fullest extent. DC should have gone back into the hands of the federal government a long time ago. It IS a federal reservation.

A disinterested administrator (disinterested administrator is not what stupid people think it means) should be appointed to act as chief executive of the city with clear cut goals in mind. A staff should replace city council, which can include exceptionally qualified members of the existing council, if there are any. This council will not have ANY personal dealings with the unions or contractors or businesses in DC. They would have no need to collect donations or please anyone other than POTUS (and/or Congress if they retained any legitimate authority over the reservation). They WILL NOT be beholden to unions! In the first of many goals they will need to tackle, the Teachers Union figures critically.

The raison d’etere for Trumps hardon for DC is the rampant crime. He addressed a recent violent crime by saying DC needs to start treating late adolescent, violent offenders as adults and bring the hammer down on them. As a starting point, I couldn’t agree more. These older kids and young adults have no conscience, no soul. That was all sucked out of them by the root of DC’s problem and the problem of all Blue cities in this country.

These cities are graduating functionally illiterate malcontents. In DC that costs $30,000 per head per year. As I always say, politicians - especially Blue politicians don’t give a shit about YOU! Likewise, school administrators, unions and too many tenured teachers (who have lived in the cushion of a lazy system) don’t give a rat’s ass about their students. Those students are nothing more than a cash cow.

According the National Center for Education Statistics, a federal entity, there is an administrator for every 7.6 teachers and 117 students in Washington DC. There are 11 students per teacher. THIS IS A VERY EASY PROFESSIONAL LIFE for teachers and admins. And with only 11 student to deal with, DC high schools should be cranking out nuclear physicists, not criminal takers.

And yet, and yet…

In a previous post about about Randi Weingarten I said the union bosses, like her, don’t give a damn about teachers and their issues. All the union bosses care about is their cut of the teachers’ salaries. Every contract deadline there is drama. The union leaders and the city already know the outcome before they even sit at the table to “negotiate”. The media is fed a load of shit about teacher/student ratio, worker safety, hours… There might even be some strike actions. For the rank and file, this is scary and perhaps exciting. In reality, it’s just for show and commensurate with the pay raise the union bosses are hoping to get FOR THEMSELVES. But in reality, except for some lip service about the “issues”, the pay raise is a sure thing and the union bosses benefit disproportionately.

These people can’t negotiate in good faith. The unions pay baksheesh to the city officials before all others. City unions and teachers unions in the Blue dumps we call cities, are virtually one entity. But a federal board of appointees CAN negotiate. Money offered them would have to be mighty sly to avoid getting charged with bribery.

And why 11 students per teacher? Well, for the individual teacher, that’s obvious. It’s easy on the teacher. And based on the quality of the product, it’s fair to say DC has some of the WORST teachers in the nation. Even with those SWEET numbers, they can’t educate our kids.

For the unions, that is also an easy answer. With such a tiny ratio, kids to teachers among the same ten of thousands of students, that means more teachers hired…and more union dues, baby! Randi gets more money! She is loaded, by the way. She sucks up WAY more cash than her “comrades” in the class rooms.

For administrators 1 for every 7.6 teachers, that’s little more nuanced. Like all government jobs, school (and school district) administrators get their promotions and pay raises based on the number of people they supervise, and paper they can generate. So a district boss wants as many people working for him/her as possible. Trees are killed to support the mountain of reports that move just through upper echelon of the district. Busy work. Various mid and upper level administrators work to fatten their departments and school staffs for the same reason. Jobs are divided into semi-jobs, then micro-jobs, each doing the job of about 1/4 of an employee and reporting extensively on same. And it’s full time! And it pays well!

Along with fixing the schools, we need to come down hard on parents. Truancy, poor nutrition and a lack of social skill among kids should be stigmatized and the parents who presently let their kids run wild need to be held accountable.

And again, men skipping on fatherhood should be considered the lowest form of human. We should do everything LEGAL in our power to prevent and punish it.

As you can see in this, and the previous segment, personal pride among citizens is critical. By praising the responsible and shaming the irresponsible, we stand a slight chance of swinging the pendulum back to the sane side.

But that’s just DC. We have many cities with the same problems and they are local democracies. And they are incestuous with their unions. One can only hope, if DC administrators are successful, citizens in the other towns can perhaps hound or shame their politicians into following DC’s lead.

Either way, at least we don’t have to have a dump for a capitol city.

Another big step would be for DC to draw lines around every federal building, and then except for those buildings which would still be federal reservation, under the Park Police, draw a line straight through city and cede the halves to Virginia and Maryland. They’d bitch, but they’d want the numbers for taxes and vote count. DC was never meant to be a teeming metropolis.

Sadly, I think this would turn Virginia solid blue for the foreseeable future. Maryland, except for where the beautiful people live is already a giant DC anyway. And Congress would have to find the testicle to do this. That’s the biggest stretch.
