  • The Blitz of Lies

Before we get to the main event.

As of this writing, DJT just held what he called his “Liberation Day” event at the White House. He is installing a list of tariffs on a number of countries that tariff us.

I would issue this warning to the political whores who people Capitol Hill. The revenues that come in under the tariff program are not an invitation for you people to have a new spending orgy. All the money should be used to paydown debt, go against unfunded mandates or paid directly back to the American people. Congress needs to spend every day for the next two years cutting spending and shrinking entitlement programs. The latter can be done without reducing a single payout to people who truly need it. inprove efficiency, DOGE style, and kick sponges off the roles.

Cosider a POS flat tax. This is the only HONEST, consistent and fair tax possible. It eliminates billions of dollars worth of bookkeeping sleight of hand by the government uses today. But it does more than that. It reduces the cost of compliance by retailers and manufacturers by multiple billions of dollars. Guess who pays for all THAT right now. That’s right - YOU DO! And you pay your sales tax and you pay for the stores taxes and the middleman;s taxes and the manufacturer’s taxes and the importer’s taxes. You pay ALL thier corporate taxes. Right now. A flat POS tax could be rather substantial and STILL save you a lot of money overall.

I’ll talk more about this soon.

    Main Event!

Consider this an informational inoculation. I want to lay out some popular Lefty talking points in a detailed fashion so you can see how they are trying to play you. At the same time I want to demonstrate how they NEVER have answers other than to spend more money on failed ideas.

The Left has turned to the use of endless false assertions (zero evidence offered) and naked projection of their own faults in an effort to tear down ANYTHING that isn’t 100% in line with their socialist, authoritarian dogma.

    Authoritarian

In fact, there is your first example. After now 11 years of political persecution of DJT and his key supporters, after three presidential terms abusing power on a scale that would make FDR and Wilson blush, after colluding secretly with private companies to censor citizens - AND LYING ABOUT IT!! - these people have the nerve to call ANYONE authoritarian, much less Donald Trump.

And for what? Is it DOGE? That is the systematic deflating of the permanent governing class using authority ceded to the Executive by congress over the last 90 years. Since FDR, congress saw an opportunity to be incredibly lazy and shirk responsibilties at the same time. Legislation was shot through with language that gave legislative and oversight authority (perhaps unconstitutionally, perhaps we’ll finally find out) to the Executive branch. “Departments will have the authority to…”. “Agencies will make regulations which…”. DOGE is just using that authority to reverse the cancerous growth of government created by that very surrender of authority.

The Executive branch is very rapidly wittling away the very abuses and authoritarianism provide by a lazy congress. That’s a strange form of authorianism. If indeed that is what the Left is crying about. We can’t know because they rarely offer evidence. And when it is offered, it is often empty rhetoric tarted up as evidence.

    Breaking Alliances

This is one we’ve heard quite a bit lately. I just watched an otherwise informative video by my favorite thinker/shill, Peter Zeihan. The piece was about the F-47. (For the record, I am less impressed with this idea than even Zeihan is.) One of the points he makse about this fighter along with it’s predecessors, is the importance of a buy-in by allies. But that is a problem. Because, Zeihan states repeatedly, DJT is “walking away” from our allies.

This is one of the Left’s constant, religious talking points going back to 2017. Trump clearly told NATO that if a country didn’t carry their agreed burden he didn’t see how we could justify defending them. This is an empirically justifiable position for any nation to take. NATO isn’t based on everyone does what it likes and the US carries the burden for them. It’s a joint venture with contracted obligations.

Trump’s point was taken immediately, as it would have been if ANY US prsident had said it and nations started to pony up. This is more than fair, considering the nations in question have a larger combined GDP than the United States. The problem was immediately resolved, and Trump and NATO got along famously.

But from the first day Trump told the allies to pay their freight until the present day, the Left in this country said doing so was “turning our backs on our allies” or “insulting our allies.” It was, of course, neither.

    Then there was Ukraine.

Keep in mind as we discuss this, war in the Ukraine is NOT a NATO issue. NATO can discuss the ramifications of that war, they can even come up with ideas to impact the outcome, but individual nations are under NO obligation to involve themselves at all in the war.

After failing to prevent the war by NOT enacting sanctions before the fact, and by saying stupid things like, “so long as it isn’t a major incursion”, the Biden administration flailed, as did NATO in their response since Putin started building his forces at the border. In fact some of the sanctions didn’t even go into effect until December of 2023, almost two years after the shooting started. What should have been a layup for Biden and NATO, stopping the war before it started, turned into a three-ring cluster fuck.

Throughout the 2024 campaign, Trump was critical of the war and our involvement in it. This gave birth to two more lies. One, by not wanting to dump our treature into a losing cause (there never was a path to victory for Ukraine) and not wanting to “be there for as long as it takes” [Biden speaking for Obama] Trump was being a “Putin puppet”. That term is so snarky the Lefty drones on social media couldn’t use it enough.

Hmmmm. How does opposing open-ended support for one corrupt country against another corrupt country, with 10 years of hostility already between them, make anyone a puppet of anyone. The answer: It doesn’t. Nobody called B. Hussein, peace be upon him, a Putin puppet when he tapped Medvedev on the knee and whispered “tell Vladimir” he’ll have more leeway to discuss missile reduction after the election. It was caught on an open mic, but why whisper that?

The same Lefty nut bags didn’t call BJ Bill’s wife a Putin puppet when she steered 20% of North America’s uranium into Russian hands.

Oh, but MJ! She was just on a comittee talking about it! It wasn’t her doing!

Yes, it was. She chaired the committee. The people on it were her drones. She was heir apparent to B. Hussein, peace be upon him. Nobody was going to espouse ANYTHING she didn’t agree with. She was the bellybutton for that deal.

The Right knocked the deal. But nobody called her Putin’s puppet. We now know she was fully in Putin’s employ on all matters that came before her as SECSTATE. And she and BJ Bill were paid handsomely. So that’s a lot more direct alignment with Russia than anything Trump has ever done or said.

The second myth associated by the Left, and NOT supporting Ukraine with a blank check, is that Trump was once again “turning his back on our allies”. Okay, by that logic, if you have a brother involved in an angry divorce preceding you would be morally obliged to pay his legal bills and actively thwart his soon-to-be ex, or you are turning your back on your brother. Yes, that is how ridiculous the taking point is. But the Dems and the media don’t care. The mindless drones that parrot the lie don’t care. They have no alternative or path to success. The point is to use the shiny object war to tear down a political opponent.

And the NATO myth continues to grow.

Speaking to the EU, Vice President, JD Vance, criticized the degradation of free speech and the suspension of elections that had consequences inconvenient to the ruling parties. This is happening all over Europe, in supposedly free and civilized nations. Vance made it clear that it is difficult to support policies that fly in the face of liberty which we ALL see in Europe right now. At no time did he insinuate we were leaving NATO. In fact, this was not a NATO gathering.

The reaction to some rather soft criticism, on the part of EUROPE, was to say that the relationship with the United States was irretrievably damaged and that Europe would have to muddle through without us. What a pack of pussies! THEY were having the hissy fits! They were stating that alliances are breaking down. We aren’t! Trump isn’t!

No one from the US was saying any of that. But that didn’t matter. It was one more reason for people like Zeihan to go all girly dramatic and say Donald Trump was “walking away from our allies”.

One more bit of Lefty mythology before moving on to other lies.

Let me start by saying EVERYBODY KNOWS the Canada as the 51st state line is a joke. Although it was very effective in getting into heads of Canadian Lefties. And if it came down to it, there would be several new states. But that’s not important right now.

What is important is the truckloads of bullshit on offer regarding the present dust up over tariffs. Canada enforces tariffs of anywhere from 20% to 290% of goods we sell them. Trump has decided to use tariffs of our own as an attitude adjuster. The idea is plainly desinged to get other countries to reduce there trade barriers to our goods.

Will it work? Who knows? But the intent is clear. Yet, Amercian Lefties are so obsessed with undermining Trump, “reducing his popularity” as Chuck Schumer says, that they take the side of all the countries and Canada, while those countries play ALL OF US for chumps. AS with DOGE, the Left isn’t against the waste, corruption and abuse. These idiots are against fixing things detrimental to their own country because orange man bad!

And, of course, they’ve conflated the trade negotiations, as they did non-military policy differences, with military alliances, and say DJT is “walking away from our allies.”

Trump isn’t walking away from anyone. Honest people can disagree on the methods Trump is using to gain trade and economic parity with the rest of the world. But honest people CANNOT conclude Trump intends to end NATO or cut off the EU. The evidence is not there. There are only empty charges from a failed opposition

    Donald, the racist, Putin lover.

For the record, I have looked up QAnon several times. I have found articles about it, but I have never found a sign-up page where somebody can join the group. I have never read something that outlines what QAnon stands for, in the words of the group. I only hear the noise. And since that is all I have to go on, I have to assume QAnon is a racist group.

Since racist, mouth breathers of all kinds tend to break toward Trump, an intentionally false conclusion is promoted by the failed Left. Trump is a racist. This is a logical non sequitur. If you believe it you MUST conclude that every male Democrat is a cross-dressing homosexual. I mean those people vote overwhelmingly for Dems, right? So…?

Of course, that conclusion is ridiculous as is the assumption that Trump is a racists because racists like him. I am an atheist. I vote for the Donald twice. Does that make him an atheist?

But still, we see lies like these, probably just parroted talking points by Jim Stewartson on has Substack. He spent the article trying to tie Trump to faults that are much more prevalant, on the Left than the Right.

But it’s fairly well-written, in terms of prose and entertainment value. And for many it is therefore convincing. Stewartson’s historical stretches and innaccuracies not withstanding. Many among us tend to fall for fancy packaging.

    For example:

It’s hard to express how perfectly this describes the goal of the Trump-MAGA-QAnon, and now Musk, cult. Lying is not just accepted in this reality, it is integral to the world they have created.

The writer spends a lot of time talking about lies but not providing examples. This is common on the Left. He also expends a great deal of effort making a similar point about Putin and the subject of his story, Aleksandr Dugin.

Dugin thinks he has a chance to drive some wedges in the West and inside the US based on his opinion of Trump. A video embedded in Stewartson’s post shows Fareed Zakaria asking blatantly leading questions to get Dugin to say he likes Trump and Trump likes Dugin. Dugin made two mild attempts to demonstrate his views don’t support the conclusion already drawn by the questioner. But no matter. That is the take-away CNN intended.

The author goes on to “criticize” Trump for what we see Stewartson and Zakaria doing!

It’s all about snark - witty, well-packaged snark.

I have a new follower/subscriber. For this particular subscriber, I suspect it won’t be for long. Her Substack is called THIS WOMAN VOTES. She is a prime example of what I am talking about. Her adolescent drama-queen delivery is the kind of schtick too many voters react to - because is sounds so “kewl”.

This is not a comment on the quality of writing. She’s a very good writer. She should be honest and call her work fiction. If she wrote thriller or war novels, I’d read them. But, as with others we’ve discussed here, she’s not relying on evidence. Her thing is cataloging greivance. Her works drips with well-crafted snark and is pregnant with similes and metaphor. But it’s not serious information.

It’s always good to question your own views. I read Lefties regularly. It’s hard to find straight forward honest ones. But I have no problem reacting to new evidence. It makes one more informed and well-rounded.

    BUT!!!!!

Too much of what you will read from these folks is more admired if it lacks actual information, evidence and argument. Don’t fall for it.

Stay with us for 4 or 5 episodes. Question my conclusions. You’ll soon start to see things in a new light regardless of your present worldview.

I think locking arms with Bobby Kennedy was a brilliant move on Trump’s part. I believe credit for the idea goes to Kennedy. I mostly like what I hear about Bobby’s ambitions for his new position. He certainly has the chops for it. He’s been fighting these battles for years.

I DO want to see vaccines studied FOR THE FIRST TIME for safety. I DO want to understand the sudden, dramatic increase in the strange chronic and developmental diseases. Is it from the vaccines? Is it from Teflon, or the aluminum it coats - or both? And of the vaccines, is it the mercury or aluminum in those? Or is it something associated with all that we don’t know about yet?

I have my suspicions about Teflon utensils. For context you can watch Dark Waters on Netflix. But we’ve known that Teflon as monosodiumnastyshit for decades. And I’ll be damned if the expanding vax mandates and broad use of Teflon and cooking with aluminum don’t ALL coincide almost perfectly with increased childhood developmental problems and adult dementia. Conditions nearly unheard of were suddenly common. Rare maladies became the norm. But we love the convenience so much (I know I do) we don’t want to know if it is killing some of us and ruining the lives of so many others.

But somewhere in that mix of aluminum, Teflon and 70+ vaccines for kids, lay the culprits in all this. Finding them will take time. Fixing the problem may be painful. We may be back to cast iron and stainless steel cooking as a result. We may have to accept the risk of a disease in a few hundred people to stop chronic disease or death in millions.

Kennedy wants a deep dive into food additives. I’m okay with that. Many are ONLY used because people like petroleum producers have byproduct to they want to dump on the market for a profit. Red 40 is a prime example. It is utterly unnecessary in food. It’s poison in food. So let’s get it out of food! Some producers say, well, in the amounts we use it in, it shouldn’t be harmful. But then there’s 8 other things our kids are eating that has the same toxic ingredient! Now it is empirically harmful! And that’s just one additive. We have to eliminate these things in batches and watch the results. Certainly we can ban unnecessary things like food dye outright. The government already has the authority.

    Have you even considered this?

I was listening to Megyn Kelly last week. Her guest was discussing infertility, weak fertility and IVF. The most significant part of the two hour discussion was when the guest and Kelly both agreed that they were suddenly finding out that many people they knew had to use IVF to have kids. Kelly used IVF as well. “Who knew?” she asked.

Well, the medical profession has known for years. IVF docs knew for certain. They were making a killing on the process. THEY DON’T WANT TO KNOW THE CAUSE OF WIDESPREAD WEAK FERTILITY! It would be bad for business!

As we go through this segment, keep in mind that we cannot breed infertility, but through things like IVF we can and do breed weak fertility. Hold that thought as we proceed.

Like allergies and asthma and Alzheimer’s and autism, infertility was a pretty rare thing. We all knew of one or two couples in our lives that couldn’t have kids. But before the 90’s that was like the asthmatic kid. When boomers were school kids, very few kids had asthma, and air pollution was much worse than it is today. But like treating all the other chronic maladies, fertility treatments are now a booming industry.

Is it 70+ vaxes, modern cooking utensils, food additives? We need to know. We are living in a time then we need to be telling our young adults to BREED, GODDAMMIT! Our demographics are nearly upside down. There is no hope of fixing this as the Boomers age out. But the millennials and their kids can and must fix the issue for their own sake. They need to get the birth rate back up to 2 humans with their own DNA and culture if they are to continue to live in a normal, healthy, productive society.

When it comes to broad-based weak fertility, especially low sperm counts, my money is on shitty nutrition. Lots of food, most of it is overly sweetened, seed oil rich or synthetic garbage.

These empty foods also contribute to child and adult obesity, and likely all manner of internal diseases. So my heart won’t bleed when Kennedy and the FDA team up to simply eliminate them from the food supply. Most of the “pain” involved will simply be inconvenience (your Cap’n Crunch goes off faster - no more buying three different boxes of cereal every week) or your food isn’t as pretty without the dyes. You might stop buying your prepackaged sandwich meats altogether because they don’t taste as good (meat from the deli counter is better for you to varying, but measurable degrees.). It will be an adjustment.

We can also enhance nutrition by having our food subsidies stand alone. This will improve national health before we touch the first nasty additive. Right now you can draw cash on your food stamp card. That has to stop. No junk food or food heavy in additives should be funded by entitlements. Fresh foods and basic non-perishables only. It is an easy thing to do. Make it registered UPC driven. When the party size bag of potato chips is swiped it is flagged and must be paid for in cash. Milk, rice, spuds, veggies, beans…all good. Food stamp recipients will try to find ways to game the system. But the health implications and legal penalties will be on them. If they are too lazy or ignorant to feed their kids properly, they can’t blame anyone but themselves for the outcome.

Where might I part ways with Bobby K?

So far, I am shoulder to shoulder with RFKJ. Junk food and nutrition are low-hanging fruit backed by political whores. We can shame the whores and make rapid progress in this area. And vaccines NEED to be fully tested and analyzed. We do this by eliminating some from the rotation and delaying others while we study them in isolation. If we find them safe and effective, they go back in and others are put on the bench. If we deem, in discussion with clinicians and researchers NOT FUNDED by Pharma, that some vaccines are dicey but worth the risk, we can find the appropriate time to provide them. And that’s not 70+ jabs by the 4th birthday!!!

Not for nuthin’, but I would wager we’ll find vaccines in the rotation that do nothing for the recipient and should be eliminated completely. With the numbers we’re discussing and the total lack of scrutiny to date, I think that is almost inevitable.

But let’s get back to food. The thing I worry about, in the crusade to clean up nutrition, is talk of “soil enhancements” (fertilizers) and the use of pesticides. Don’t get me wrong. I like clean rivers. I don’t like exposure to nasty chemicals (understanding that 99% of that can be washed of a veggie). But Kennedy’s talk of taking back farming 80 years, while possibly sincere, would be a plague level disaster if done too quickly.

Look at Sri Lanka. The WHO and WEF teamed up to make Sri Lanka a socialist and agricultural utopia. The first thing they did was restrict fertilizers and pesticides. They wanted everything to be grown “organically”, which is to say in a way that will starve their population. That is exactly what happened. Yields plummeted. The economy collapsed. Within two years Sri Lanka was on life support.

American farmers are already being harangued to reduce fertilizer. The justification for this is weak at best. It comes mostly from “green” activists whose track record is in the toilet. Most of their crusades are built around honing their political resumes, not helping mankind. Some of what they preach is weak in research. Much else is made up out of whole cloth.

I would caution Kennedy to only move on fertilizer and pesticides AFTER finding substitutes. I do want healthy whole food. But primarily we all want FOOD! It’s nothing for people of means to afford food where even the poorest yields are the norm. But you can’t feed this population, much less the world by “organic” means. Not yet. Pursue the research, of course. When you find something that works without hurting output, put it in the lineup. But don’t pull the trigger too soon.

Some, possibly including Bobby, are still operating on the notion that meat is bad for you. This has been utterly discredited. Carbs for energy are fine, I’m not a puritan. But protein and fats are critical for maximum, efficient nutrition. This country, to grow and be strong, needs MORE meat not less. Do you want to get rid of the growth hormones and antibiotics in meat? Fine. Incentivize ranchers and poultry farmers to make more cows, pigs and chickens - a LOT more. Make MUCH more land available for these purposes. Then you can START to seriously test the elimination of the things we worry about here.

It’s fine if Trump wants to bluster about 500 things at once and keep everyone guessing as to where he intends to go. But the Departments under him need to be smart and deliberative. Diving in with actions on impulse or passion, even if it has become your life’s work, as all this is in Kennedy’s case, will guarantee disasters that far exceed the concerns we have now about what is in our whole food.

In these last two areas, crops and livestock, we must be most careful. Innovations must be thoroughly tested over many years and PROVEN before we GRADUALLY bring them into production.

Remember you heard these warnings here first! It wouldn’t hurt to start emailing and calling the FDA, HHS and Congress with your concerns. Also, at every opportunity, you should head off the political whores. Warn everyone in conversation and on social media that the battle between Kennedy and the whores IS coming. Just pepper you conversation with admonition of caution where messing with volume and yields are concerned. We don’t want to amputate the head to save the kneecap.

  • He's No Nino!

    Phony tough

At some point recently, an advisor close to Democrat leadership called for Alpha males to step up and speak for the party. The problem, the party is bereft of such men. The first to step forward is Astronut Senator Mark Kelly. He displayed his manliness by selling his Tesla in a fit of rank stupidity.

Make that double stupidity. He bought the thing because he either believed the green scammers, or his one of them. This makes his replacement vehicle an even more stupid purchase. People like Kelly would have you believe or profess an EV is “greener” than a V8 SUV (which is what he bought, in order to feel like a man). But they’re not, and never will be.

I’ve said many times on this program, right about the time an EV is beginning to make up for their waste of fossil fuels just being built, it’s time to replace the batteries. And the green counter starts all over again, with the EV being far dirtier than my 2016 Ram V8.

Thanks for playing Mark. We hope the penis envy is a passing thing.

Then sloucher Chuck Schumer and creepy Tampon Tim started talking about kicking MAGA asses and forcing the GOP to vote the right way or pay the price. These two knuckleheads couldn’t beat up a daisy if they were tag teaming.

AOC is out there trying to be the Alpha male in their stead. She’s more believable in the roll and still embarrassing to watch. Bernie is touring with her. But he is close to going to the same farm they sent Joe Biden to.

    It’s all too funny.

Po River Supports the P4B and Free Zone

    Let’s get down to cases!

Upon seeing this piece, a bunch of people might be tempted to say, oh, you saw this on Beck!

Yes, Glenn Beck and others have hit on this, but I have been saying all this about Roberts for some time now. Here’s one of the earlier mentions. And there is more to unpack on the subject.

Roberts was not a lawyer by trade when he was selected for the Supreme Court. He was a glad-handing, back-slapping. grinning political animal. And he was good at it. This doesn’t disqualify him to serve on the Court, but I always thought appointing him directly as Chief Justice was a stretch.

It is absurd to think of someone like Roberts marshaling the efforts of Ruth, Nino and Clarence in any meaningful way. Assigning him as an associate justice? Sure. But there were, and are, better thinkers on the bench who could have been moved to the chief’s chair. My position has been vindicated a few times since his arrival at SCOTUS.

His reasoning and ego mark him as an amateur among his fellow justices. His “reasoning” in the case of Obamacare (make that outright interference in the process), for example, was atrocious. It was clear that he was enjoying the spotlight 1/6th of the economy shining on the court, and he wanted it to shine on him. He saw a chance to be co-president by helping to push through a spending bonanza. He stepped off the bench (metaphorically) and edited the White House’s argument. Then declared the most obvious abuses of Obamacare to be constitutional.

Here is the operative paragraph I keep referring to.

In July of 2012, in a move the New Yorker called a "singular act of courage", Chief Justice Roberts decided he wanted to be a co-president for a few hours and missed the opportunity to gut the whole mess when he stepped off the bench, into the well and made the administration's argument for them. The question was whether the penalty for not participating in Obamacare was a tax or a fee. On consecutive days the administration's lawyers argued that 1) it was absolutely a fee and not a tax 2) it was absolutely a tax and to a fee. The reason is because of the dubiousness of the governments authority to cause people to buy something they don't need under the penalty of law. Only in Orwell's crazy world should this thinking survive. Roberts would have been correct to laugh the parties right out of the court room. But he didn't. He chose to nail his name into the pages of history and leave us to take this monstrosity apart piece by piece while the misinformation continues to gush from the White House and a sycophantic press. With each step, we will have to fight the straw man misdirection and hysterical wailing.

Roberts has occasionally sided with the Left of the Court for reasons that vary in quality. Roberts’ weak, lazy, almost clannish handling of the Dobbs leak was unforgivable.

So, it was annoying and disappointing, but not surprising, when he decided to wade where he ought not last week.

    The issue

Last week, DC District Chief Judge Boasberg wildly overstepped his constitutional authority on the issue of ejecting Tren de Aragua scum from our country. That stands as an empirical fact even if you agree with the plaintiffs in this case.

First, it was a joke that he even considered the case. And in doing so he demonstrated how activists like himself allow themselves to be used as pawns in political games. Devoid of real argument, the Left needs the pliable judges to legislate from the bench on absolutely every issue.

Boasberg further abused his position when he started issuing operational orders to THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH on their handling of the gang members so far. Turn the planes around! (Was he joking?!?) How may passengers aboard the planes? How much fuel? When did they take off? The correct answer to all of those questions, Mr. Judicial Branch Man is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. No matter how many plaintiffs are standing before you, you don’t have sway over the Executive Branch’s operation.

A judge may issue a temporary restraining order (TRO) in response to a plaintiff, but he has NO RIGHT to inject himself into existing operation reality. In this case the judge did order the Trump administration to hold all flights. But TRO’s have no weight at all until they are committed to the written record. The Judge knows this, but whined about it anyway when at least one flight left before he memorialized his royal fiat.

Trump reacted to this in his typical Trumpy fashion. He called the judge a luntic (arguable) and a liberal activist (correct). Trump said the man should be impeached.

So far, we have a judge in his own court issuing proclamations. We have Trump defending his own actions and rendering an opinion. The opinion doesn’t matter in that Trump cannot impeach anyone and there are not numbers in congress that would get anyone anywhere near impeachment. But the valid players are making their case.

Then John Roberts inexplicably decides to speak out. He does so in an intellectually questionable fashion and legally troubling way as well. Let’s just look at a few problems with his statement.

    * Regarding the call for impeachment, Trump IS a player in an active case. So is Boasberg. John Roberts is not. So by weighing in on the question, and not being a member of the House of Representatives, all Roberts did was add yet another unqualified opinion to the discussion. Thanks, John.

    * In his statement, Roberts took a stand that might be expected of a pre-law student, before the professor blasted him out of his seat. Roberts said that for 200 years we have never impeached a judge for an opinion. Here’s why that is an anti-intellectual assertion:

    * The fact that “we” do anything for any length of time does not make that thing right. We had slavery for almost 250 years. By Roberts’ thinking we should have continued to get our two biggest cash crops the same way.

    * The case in question does not center solely around an “opinion”. Boasberg was issuing demands of a separate branch of government that went beyond his authority and beyond the scope of the discussion at hand. Just because we’ve never argued such behavior in an impeachment proceeding before, is not reason to conclude we never could or should.

    * The statement from Roberts was impulsive and reckless.

    * Impulsive because it was issued in an unofficial way, but intended to carry the color of his “authority”. He was suddenly jumping into a cat fight to ‘stick up’ for an activist judge who seems perfectly capable of speaking for himself. In fact, Boasberg is trying to be a bit of a bully. That’s a fool’s errand considering that he’s dealing with DJT.

    * Roberts was reckless for wading into a controversy that will almost certainly be before the Supreme Court in a matter of months, even weeks. He won’t recuse. His ego won’t allow for that. But he should, now that he is a player in the case.

Considering the ham-handed way John Roberts takes these weird positions and actions, I can’t help but think it’s the politician in him that simply cannot resist a bit of self-promotion. It may be reflexive. It is not the behavior we expect from a Chief Justice. Other justices are far from perfect. It isn’t too uncommon for a judge to make an off-hand remark only to regret it later. But as with this case, the Obamacare debacle and the Dobbs leak, I think one can safely opine that John Roberts was not the best choice for Chief Justice.

And that’s not hindsight. Many of us thought so then.

  • How Obama Destroyed Healthcare.

Recommend you follow in the text at 1.25 speed.

A 2-minute appeal. The show starts at the 2 minute mark.

Let’s get to the house keeping right out of the gate. I was talking with a fellow podcaster this morning. She was talking about the frustration at monetizing her work here on Substack. I could not agree more with her frustration. We bust our asses. We research, write, record, edit, post and schedule, and promote. Then do it again. We post on social media and get likes. I gotta tell ya, I appreciate the likes. I really do, but all the busting of ass is done in search of growth. We need shares! Please don’t keep the P4B and Free Zone a secret. Comments are good to so I know you still have a pulse…and a point of view.

As for monetization, we in a market now where everybody is hawking subscriptions. While $6 or $8 per month doesn’t seem like a lot of money, how many times can a viewer commit to that? That is why I am trying very hard to resist a paywall. I have about 90k users who come and go and 2000 subscribers. I’d love to have more. And I try to support the work with voluntary donations, a sponsor here and there and the Po River online shop.

There is a lot of stuff at the shop, including P4B and Free Zone gear. So shopping there will support the site. And I believe a donation when you’ve got cash and the inclination, is better for you than dinging your credit card every month.

So please, help me keep the paywall down. Visit every week. Share prolifically and support my work as you can. Smash all the buttons.

    Preface

Before we get to the main event, let me preface what you are about to hear with this: JAMA says we are headed for a shortage of hospital beds in this country. This didn’t happen in the last 30 days, but the Left will inevitably blame DJT for the damage THEY have done to our medical industry for a 2 generations.

This show is about how Obamacare made permanent the industry’s inability to be in any way agile in there response to market needs. Government mandates made the industry cumbersome. Obamacare sealed our fate.

    Compare

Did you ever consider why college is so expensive? It’s because the government is now elbow deep in the system. They’ve taken over the college loan program, guaranteeing payment to colleges. Costs were climbing every year since the guaranteed loan program started late last century. They climb because the schools knew no matter what they charge, kids and parents will borrow, and the socialist nanny state will pay.

Similarly, when Obama unconstitutionally took over the medial insurance industry in this country, and congress and Chief Justice John Roberts conspired to support the crime, they had the exact same effect on our medial care. The indoctrination of our kids is inexcusable, the destruction of health care in this nation is criminal.

Closing hospitals while demand increases - dangerously.

I don’t know what the situation is in your neighborhood, but Delaware County, PA has lost several hospitals. And it’s not as if the population has shrunk significantly. In fact, the need for MORE medial care is increasing rapidly as the population ages. So as demand increases at least four area hospitals can’t keep their doors open. Why?

Well, first their is the byzantine systems of payment. Hospitals wildly over charge for treatment because they know getting paid is a crap shoot at best. Can you see the circle of irony already forming? Insurance companies are constantly cutting corners. There are several reasons for this.

One is that the insurance customer base has shrunk over the years. With the birth of the abomination known as Obamacare or ACA, millions of people were enrolled in Medicaid. More on that in a bit.

So the few companies that Obamacare picked as winners, including the companies that wrote the law, have a smaller customer base and are hemmed in by FEDERAL regulation from expanding or merging to increase their markets.

They still have shareholders to pay, and like all businesses they MUST grow or die. So, they are becoming almost as unethical as Medicaid and Medicare in how they compensate for treatment. They are further hampered by all the mandated coverage Obamacare brought under one roof.

You’ve heard me speak of mandated coverage over the years, so I will try to truncate the reality here.

When wealthy executives started demanding benefits packages over cash (The tax rate was nearly 90% at the time), unions thought their people should get the same consideration. At the time, your typical union worker carried his own insurance. It was a hassle, especially if an individual wasn’t thrifty, but if you were employed, you could handle the coverage.

Also, way back then, insurance was NOT for colds and fevers or stitches or checkups - minor issues. It was for major medical expenses. I remember as a child, when the doc would make a house call, my mom took out her purse (or she’d take out her checkbook and sometimes tell the doc not to cash the check until next week). Like ALL insurance systems, if you didn’t draw from it too often, you were rewarded with lower rates. This was more than enough to offset the cash spent on minor stuff.

But the Karens of the day didn’t think it was fair that they had insurance but had to budget for the small stuff. There ought to be a law! Those rich doctors are taking advantage! And so it would be. For the next few decades we’d see the headlines. Insurance must now cover this and that. Finally, it was insurance companies must cover EVERYTHING.

To finance this, they raised their rates. And the Karens howled again. So the political whores started regulating rates. That, of course, screwed up the entire market.

With costs skyrocketing, and simultaneous with the growing mandates, not because of greedy companies, but an overbearing government, insurance companies got the idea to offer pooled coverage, facilitated by employers, to groups of people - volume business. Now almost every full time employee could get insurance as a benefit.

And the nanny state was on their heels the entire time. What started out as an idea to save on the cost of insurance was turned into bureaucratic cluster fuck. Compliance was a nightmare. It wasn’t a case of I pay X and my employer pays Y and a list of coverages were paid when needed. There were forms and reports and weird exceptions to everything. How things were paid was crazy. And very quickly, your “benefit” at work was as costly or more so than anything that came before it.

And all the while the mandates were piled on. The politicians could say they did something and the insurance companies took their cut. They had to. They were not in the charity business. And they had to keep their doors open and so much cash on hand.

The first irony from all of this was huge new pools of money chasing the same amount of services. That causes inflation in the market in question. So as more people signed on to have every single thing covered, doctors and hospitals charged more. They didn’t have to work for you dollar anymore. They had all the walk-in traffic they could possibly handle.

Hospitals like Fitzgerald and Delaware County Hospital, in Delco, for example no longer had to compete to get business. But they too had to add a shit ton of bureaucracy on to what administration they already had. In 11 years none of that would matter. One would be gone, thanks to the “help” provided by Obamacare.

The costs of just running the payment system and keeping compliant with the federal and state monsters became so complex that entire industries grew up around just those functions. What used to be done by an office in the hospital or by a secretary in a doctor’s office, had to be done by medical billing and compliance specialists. The average hospital (161 beds) pays $7.5 million per year for this nightmare.

Think about that. If hospitals and doctors were left to handle customers as they used to, but with today’s technology, an administrator and two assistants could serve the business of a large hospital. Tracking money and sniffing out fraud would be child’s play.

But no! We had to combine ceremonial Chinese and ancient Sanskrit into one Tower of Babel. All this, so you can pay way too much to have your blisters lanced.

Then in 2010, recognizing that the system was utterly untenable and that some people didn’t have insurance (not everyone needed it or wanted it) B. Hussein Obama, peace be upon him, decided to fix the system with a government takeover, and 27,000 pages of federal code was piled onto the existing pig. Christ knows how many pages of regulation have been added by unelected bureaucrats since.

The idea was not to help poor people. It was another means by which the federal beast could tap into our money for revenue. AND to help the cronies who wrote the bill, and would be actually providing the now-mandatory policies. That’s socialized medicine through the back door, folks. Don’t let any Lefty jack wagon tell you otherwise.

Insurance rates for private insurance rose quickly, in several states tripled almost immediately. Co-pays and deductibles rendered even having insurance nearly pointless. That is in part because crony insurance companies were awarded closed markets and told to make what they could from those markets. So now you know why the insurers balk at paying. Delay, Deny, Depose. It’s now baked into the system thanks to Obamacare.

Medicare is no better. When billed, Medicare usually balks, then after weeks and months of wasted time and money OVER EACH CASE, they still don’t pay full boat.

Every year hospitals raise rates to cover slow or light compensation. Every year, insurance companies raise rates to cover that. Every year the system gets more complex. And every year the pain required to unfuck this mess, if we ever do, looms larger. There would have been an adjustment if we fixed it all in the 1980’s. There would be real difficulty and confusion if we did it now - and we should. But if we don’t fix all this now, the inevitable collapse of Medicare and Medicaid, along with Social Security, will be catastrophic and will pull down the entire economy.

But how could that be? I mean, there’s lots of little accounts in a big fund with your name on them, right? There’s the Matt Jordan Medicare account, and the Ron Cori Social Security account just waiting for us to claim them in a few years, right? Wrong. There IS NO MONEY. That’s because Uncle Stinky got his greasy meat hooks on your money and spent or wasted every last dime.

To pay you, the government must now print and/or borrow every nickle. The treasury can’t even pay for the all the things they budgeted for two months ago! There’s no fund to pay you back for all the money that was taken from you. There’s only Uncle Stinky competing AGAINST YOU for every dime of cash, and every penny of credit, to try to keep these Ponzi schemes afloat for another year.

So, instead of fixing the healthcare system (that’s what they told you Obamacare was for), Barry O and Democrats codified the worst of our insurance industries problems and added them to the already doomed Medicare and Medicaid programs. In the process they added all the regulatory bullshit to our already wildly over bloated federal registry. And before 2014, they couldn’t execute their existing obligations with any competence.

    The irony of fraud

In this unforgivably complex balloon knot we’ve created, finding fraud requires forensic data skill sets. And just in the case of Medicare, fraud is in the tens of billions of dollars.

And the system itself provides fertile ground for fraud. The supposed income cutoff for eligibility is 138% over the poverty line. But as we watched early on, the government played pretty fast and loose with that figure, especially with families. Someone making significantly more than that can use “spenddown” and all kinds of other maneuvers to get on Medicaid. At the time Obamacare first hit the streets, Barry and company were actively recruiting as many people into Medicaid as they possibly could.

Add to this the number of people who actually live with a girlfriend/boyfriend but keep their mother’s house as their home address. They earn under the table or by criminal means and show no apparent income. And YES, this is as common, in our welfare state, as the leaves on the trees.

So what do we do to fix all this?

Here’s what I laid out on 2017. It would have been better if we had done it then. It would have been better still if Nancy Pelosi hadn’t “deemed to have voted the [Obamacare] bill out of conference”, thereby passing a bill taking over 1/6 of our economy ILLEGALLY! (NO SUCH REQUIRED VOTE EVER TOOK PLACE. She didn’t have the votes.) It was a scam, as was passing this trillion dollar pig under the provisions of “reconciliation”. It was all a lie. But that is the pig we are left with.

7 January 2017. This was written not only as a critique of Obamacare but in response to the GOP’s idea of “replacing” it. Their idea was every bit as stupid as Obamacare without the proper funding.

“If you enact laws that says this is how you will insure people, you are already screwing the pooch. Insurance people, who are taking all the risk, know how to do that better than ANY government social engineer. And when you introduce your clever new insurance laws and don’t separate out pre-existing conditions and 26 year-olds on their parents plans (WTF?), you are simply creating Obamacare-lite. In other words, you haven’t fixed the problem. You’ve only delayed the collapse for a bit.

Here is the alternative that will work. You:

    * Set a timetable for ending all the government mandates on medical insurance for all those above the poverty line and not on Medicare or treatment through the military.

    * Repeal laws that prevent competition in the industry.

    * End all subsidies and tax breaks for employment-related medical insurance. That’s just an extra impediment to the efficient bet between the customer and the insurance company. The money the employer saves in medical set-asides and compliance can be put into the employee’s paycheck. With that kind of money, an individual can create a serious health savings account and/or pay for premiums.

    * End all subsidies for wellness programs. They have been proven not to work. They are used as sops for doctors and others to suck up extra insurance money.

    * Thwart jackpot justice in the form of egregious damage awards. The U.S. courts were not set up to ruin doctors.

    * Along that same line, move first to eliminate those mandates that encourage doctors to practice defensive medicine. Then eliminate all mandates. It is not up to the government to decide how much you pay, and for what coverage. It is up to you and the insurance company.

    * Encourage people to seek minor, non-emergency treatment (no longer covered under our adult approach) from facilities that post their rates. Educate them to shop their medical dollar. You’ll be AMAZED at how inexpensive routine treatment will become.

This list is not exhaustive by any means. But by doing these things we take the billions of dollars sloshing around a bloated and mismanaged system and let it move much more effectively between patient, insurer and doctor. By extracting the government money from the system, the incentive to bilk the system as government systems are always bilked, is eliminated.”

When people read all that, the first I usually get is how do we fund this? WE DON’T. We buy it. Asking the question shows how the default position of the average person is that everything must be done by the nanny state.

    The two-step solution.

First, we make health insurance exactly what is was designed to be the first time a company bet on the health of an individual. We make it for catastrophic care - the kind of care YOU cannot afford to pay out-of-pocket.

Insurance companies can provide a broad scale of coverage based on your acceptance of risk and their assessment of your health (their risk). You basically place a bet that you will get sick. They bet that you won’t - as defined by the policy you choose.

The only thing the government needs to do is make the insurance fraud guidelines so simple and straight-forward that no amount of cronyism will save an offender.

This will reduce the cost of insurance significantly.

Then second, general practitioners offer their service PRIVATELY to patients on a retainer. It could easily be as low as $100 per month for a patient, $200 for a family. When you need minor treatment it is covered by the retainer. If you need treatment that truly is more expensive than the retainer covers (we’ll detail that next) you are billed for the overage or your retainer is adjusted slightly.

So how do we watch all that?

Hospitals and doctors list all the treatments they offer and the price of each. GP’s list what retainers don’t cover and the burden of such treatments place on the patient. This requirement also applies to emergency care.

This provides two benefits for a patient. 1. The patient can more efficiently shop for a GP. 2. If going to a hospital for non-emergency treatment, they can shop the best price for that treatment. This will minimize the impact on future premiums to their insurer.

Strip the onerous regulation from the system. Most of that is busy work to pay the administrative monster created by government.

    The result

By doing all this we do change the landscape for doctors. By living in a world where their customers will be paying based on informed budgeting, the average specialists may have to forgo the second BMW for a while. Some may have to golf on weekends like the rest of us. But the medical field will still be lucrative, as the demand suggests it should be.

GP’s will have a much more vibrant practice. Being a family doctor will become much more appealing. Building a successful and growing family practice would draw more GP’s into the system, especially when their compliance costs plummet.

With all the above, we BRING BACK REAL COMPETITION!!! No phony boundaries and no regulations designed to keep out upstarts. Anyone with a medical background, AI and some financial backers will be able to create a smart and efficient insurance company. Play it straight and make a killing. Jack up your policy holders…and do hard time.

We are talking about re-privatizing the health and insurance industry. For the TRULY needy, we can still have a REAL Medicaid program. We don’t have to kick grandma off Medicare. As we’ll see with Social Security in a future post, the system will grandfather in those vested in the system.

    One more point about Obamacare.

The Affordable Care Act (ACA), a bigger bullshit term than the Inflation Reduction Act, has NOTHING to do with healthcare. It doesn’t improve the care of a single patient. It was ENTIRELY about the government taking control of the medial insurance industry. And, because it is now a government program, the system is shot through with holes and unintended consequences.

A couple of the hospitals I mentioned earlier were taken over by hedge funds. I’m reminded of how money people took over Boeing. It went from one the the safest, most efficient companies in the world to a lumbering and UNSAFE monster. It had previously been run by aviation men.

Because the Democratic party, and more specifically Obama and his ilk, are tied so tightly to Wall Street and big money, allowances were made for money people to take over hospitals and run them like money guys would - disastrously. You don’t spend $20k turn a screwdriver and fix humans. It’s more complicated than that. And no government program or hedge fund guy will ever be able to cope with the working end of a hospital; or for that matter, the dedicated efforts of insurance professionals.

Failing to make things work correctly, these hedge fund managers, it seems, treated the hospital like a piggy bank. They treated them the way a mob boss treats a bar it takes over by force or blackmail. The end is the same in both scenarios. And the money guys DO NOT give a shit.

As this post insists, the players should be you, your insurer and your doctor/hospital. Any more fingers in the mix and you have disaster. Government fingers absolutely CAUSE corruption and ruin industries.

    Finally

Make no mistake, the reason Obamacare came into being was to facilitate the ultimate collapse of the health insurance industry, long an ambition of Alinskyites like Barry O and BJ Bill’s wife. They see a weak and dependent populace as a goal - and a tribute to their greatness.

Imagine the poorest and grayest of Soviet hell holes. That is where we are headed if we let Medicare and the last of private medicine collapse. Fix it now! And instead of closing hospitals, we’ll be building them.

  • One Big Beautiful Bill? I'm not impressed.

The federal government will spend $7 trillion dollars in 2025. It will take in about $4.5 trillion in revenues. $2.5 trillion will be printed and added to the debt.

Almost every member of Congress in both houses have called for fiscal responsibility from the floor of their respective chambers, at one time or another. In committee, the same members were okay with spending the same or a bit more for their areas of responsibility. Individually, almost to a man, each member calls for far more spending on their districts and pet projects.

This is all absurd, indefensible and unsustainable. DOGE, at the rate it is progressing will amount to a mosquito bite in terms of cuts. And the cuts that need to be made must be made by the gutless wonders I described in the second paragraph. When will they get the guts to do what must be done to fix all this?

The answer is when they fear us more than their cronies. And that takes organization. It takes real energy on the part of citizens. I know you have reasons for not being a part of that. Most of the best reasons revolve around your kids. Well, this I will tell you. In very short order, there won’t be anything worth saving for those kids, certainly not theirs.

Scare tactics, you say? Fear mongering?

Let’s break it down. Every year our obligations to Social Security and Medicare grow. Those programs WILL BOTH collapse within about a decade if radical changes are not made. They should have been made a generation ago when the gutless wonders declared the problem fixed. They’ve made a few minor tweaks since 1983, but they were just as theatrical. The fact is, if we took steps to grandfather out the old system with a privatized version, Social Security would be solvent, or nearly so right now.

So the steps that must be taken now are the ones that NO ONE wants to take.

But our desires no longer match the state or our economy. And I haven’t even gotten to Medicare. That will require a second post and and dealing with Obamacare at the same time. It’s all a part of the same ugly, economy crushing monster.

Suffice it to say that Medicare and Medicaid will have to take a hit along with everything else. And we MUST DEMAND IT. And there’s the rub, right?

    Mack Penny Plan

You’ve likely heard this before. If you cut every program by 1% every year for 6 years, you balance the budget. That would have to be recalculated since the political whores have done a great deal more damage since is was first introduced. But to be certain, by doing just that we would have a major impact on the fiscal health of our economy. And, cry as the big government, nanny state Lefty activists might, there is NO program that can’t afford such a haircut, and the exercise in efficiency would be a model for governance in the future.

Just eliminating under-tasked positions and reducing the fat from top-heavy organizations, a little each year would get us at least half way to the 6 year goal. But we can do far better than that.

Here are a few things we can start with. If it claims to be an NGO or “non-profit” stop sending it money. If the government cannot control and allocate the resources it wishes to deliver, then they should not be allocating such moneys to begin with! Every day we find more and more of these “non-profits” are money laundering schemes between politicians and cronies for their benefit ONLY!

Did you know the federal piggy has given money to the Tides Foundation? That’s a “non-profit” paying it’s senior officers insane amounts of money. It spends money putting weak-ass, soft on crime, American hating Lefties in office. They concentrate most heavily on district attorneys’ offices and State AGs. It’s also run by George Soros. He’s a multi-billionaire and he gets American tax dollars to carry out his ambitions against YOUR country.

Some NGOs and “non-profits” pocket their fat cut, then spend your money teaching illegals how to avoid ICE and game the system. Others take YOUR money and hand it to Hamas terrorists! But until DOGE, you had no way of knowing that. You were told these organizations were “helping” the less fortunate in the US and around the world.

All this must STOP, be zeroed out. And if real need exists, and we have our house back in order, start it again with heavy oversight. Congressional overseers must husband those funds jealously for fear of losing their jobs or facing charges of corruption.

    Oh GAWD! Not the Military!

Yes, the military can afford to lose many hundreds of billions without impairing readiness. Just declaring so many more billions of dollars per year to “keep our nation safe” is the biggest con job of them all. And here the Right is usually the biggest enabler of a fat and lazy military bureaucracy.

Near the end of every fiscal year, sometimes quarterly, the call goes: SPEND ALL THE MONEY! Military activities are awarded X dollars to carry out their mission. Rarely is it not enough. Because there are a few honest, thorough people in the DoD, there was always money lefty over. Would that money be held over for the next fiscal year? NO! We’d be told to BUY SOMETHING! ANYTHING - anything we could logically, or not so logically, explain away as being needed.

If we didn’t, two things would happen. First, the money would vanish - poof! - cease to exist. That’s because it was funny money, borrowed from the Fed in a practice called fractionalized lending. A bookkeeping trick. When such money goes unspent, the Fed doesn’t want it back. It isn’t real money. Better for the Fed to show the money as having been spent by the customer. That keeps the loan on the books as an “asset”. Read The Creature from Jekyll Island by G. Edward Griffin to understand this.

The second thing that happens, if you show a balance at the end of the year, your organization is not rewarded for thrift, it gets next year’s budget cut. In reality, that’s not the end of the world, but it is logically backward.

Understand, this happens across the federal government including contractors with a strong working relationship to their governing departments. It’s probably a huge reason dead people keep receiving Social Security checks. Gotta keep those budgets fat!

The military is no exception. It might be, arguably, the worst offender. And the Armed Forces are heavily over administered. It’s unjustifiable. You’ve heard me say twice in the last two months that we have a military force less than one tenth the the size of the one we had in World War II. But we have more flag rank officers, especially three and four star officers, than we did in that war. All those admirals and generals get staffs. Big ones. To “justify” that there are countless redundancies in the chains of command. With today’s technology many functions performed by each individual chain of command, from the flag down, can be combined to be a force-wide activity.

The flag ranks, now very cozy with cronies and congress would howl! How can General Yes-man do this job (which could just as easily be done by a Major with half the staff), possibly manage without a complete organization that does all the same shit that Admiral Buttkiss chain is doing at the same time?!?! It’s inhumane!

So, yeah. when your Congressman says we gave the DoD $700 Billions dollars, ask him how much useless crap was cut first. You’ll be accused of wanting to make America unsafe. But you’d be right to ask, and accusation would be bullshit.

A quick side note before we move on:

All levels of government in this country perform large development functions. Building infrastructure, building out hardware and software, building their own offices, and on and on. And almost without exception there are insane “cost overruns”. These are the result sand-bagging the cost until the taxpayer is vested and on the hook or to finance kick backs, or both. The former is obvious. The kickback, whether speaking fees, campaign donations or contributions to a politician’s son’s “foundation”, it’s all the same - corruption. Don’t kid yourself, when it comes to baksheesh, we’re as bad as the Turks or Russians. And it occurs in this country to the tune of trillions of dollars.

Keep this in mind as I discuss Milton Friedman later.

    Reality vs the Big Con

The federal government has three jobs: preserving fair interstate trade, national security and foreign affairs. We have, quite stupidly allowed them to take over every aspect of our lives. As a result they don’t do anything well, including their real jobs.

We could take 50% of all the money we give them, which is almost the same amount they borrow every year to perform unconstitutional functions, and our lives would continue apace. The taker-class wouldn’t be happy. And there are still jobs a state or local government might carry out, like welfare for the truly needy, and state and local roads and bridges. But all of it can be done for far less and does not have to be done by an already clumsy and over bloated federal leviathan.

Back to Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill

There is absolutely NOTHING beautiful about the spending Congress just voted for. Anything with the word “trillion” behind it is 80% corruption, 20% value to citizens. Don’t celebrate this. Instead use it to get mad as hell. Call you reps today and tell them to stop pissing away your money for cronies and themselves.

As a suggestion, tell them to start with the 2019 budget. That was a year when nobody died because the federal government didn’t piss away enough money, and a lower budget than the 2025. Then tell them to eliminate the department of education from the 2019 figure. THEN, tell them to cut the figure by 1% percent across the board, every department. Finally, tell them to do that every year for 5 years. And that is just the start of what we need to do to get control of this sick and ugly beast we call the federal government.

We’ll talk about establishing a fair and flat tax, reigning in the Fed and other major steps to prosperity and liberty in later shows.

I mentioned Milton Friedman earlier. Perhaps this story will put government spending into perspective and demonstrate the folly of allowing a giant federal monster to absorb most of your wealth through taxes, intentional inflation and debt which you didn’t incur.

I was going to relate it myself. Instead I’ll let him explain it so you can be properly disgusted with our present relationship with the federal government…or your state government if they are as corrupt and wasteful as, say, California or New York.
