Tyla is having an incredible start to her AFLW career, already having achieved Melbourne's top honour in 2021, tying equal first with Karen Paxman, and receiving the NAB AFLW Rising Star award in the same season. She is also a Premiership player and credits much of her development to her legendary captain, and teammate, Daisy Pearce.
