The heart of a man together with the belief systems that it generates is a man's truest foundation, for it is from this fountain that the man lives his life. Consequently, the church's greatest and most important work is upon the hearts of men, teaching men to turn from their selfish desires towards love for the Lord and the neighbour which is from heaven.  

The presence of the church in society is a restraining force against the hell that men generate by reason of their selfish inclinations and at the same time the means by which light from heaven can reach men on earth.  

In this message, the Lord shows us in a deeper way the church's role and responsibility in establishing the eternal will of God for man which subsequently restores what civilization in the earth ought to be.

Every civilisation is built by men. However, the men who will build the civilisation are plagued with selfishness, the main nemesis of civilisation. How will the builders be healed from their selfishness, without the church? It is the church that deals with the hearts, way of thinking and dealings of a people, which naturally don’t promote civilisation. And these are the core of every civilisation; without which no civilisation would be established.

In the message, “the church, the cornerstone of every civilisation”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter argues that the church is indispensable in the building of every civilisation. He explains that, though the current church has been a shadow of itself, the Lord is building a new church, fortified with salt (affection for truth which stems from desire for good) to heal men of their sickness.

Divine order cannot be circumvented. For a person to receive from God, their heart must be set on God. The one whose heart (desires) is set on the world detests everything of God. Since the rendezvous point of our reception of God is in the heart, the heart that loves the world has no room for what is of God and can therefore not receive from God. The reality is that, we do not truly desire the things we seek of God, having a contrary desire rooted in our hearts.

The Lord in His incarnation, operated in two states: the state of humiliation and the state of glorification. In the state of humiliation, His human needed to be brought in subjection to the Divine so that the Divine will dwell and have full expression in the human. On the other hand, the state in which the Divine fills and find expression in the human represents the state of glorification. As humans, we also go through these phases as we deal with God. We are in the state of humiliation when we do not find the Lord’s presence in our situation. And we are in the state of glorification when we find that the Lord is with us in a situation.

However, our state of glorification is not permanent because we are in the flesh. The internal awareness of truth (revelation) we come to in the state of glorification also shows us an outlet for it to run its full course with us.

In the message, “How To Receive From God: Messengers Of His Glory”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter, discusses what to do when we find ourselves in the state of glorification. And that, it is in following promptly after the impressions we receive in the state of glorification that we see the full effect of the Lord’s power even in our externals.

The Kind of person you are in the midst of a troubling or perhaps an unbearable situation is more important than the eradication of the situation. Since most of the happenings around us are not within our control, our greatest asset is the kind of person we are in the unsavoury situation. And this is what God does for us: builds us (inner self) up to be formidable to withstand any kind of adversity. He does this through His Word. The Word of God is the only thing that has what it takes to supply and internally construct us with inner fortitude, composure, sanity, serenity and hope. It is only the Word that is able to make one sane and alright even when their surrounding is out of control. It is what will supply you with inner fortitude to keep grinding at the mill even when result does not seem eminent. When the pressures of life are crushing in, it is the Word that will keep you composed. It is what will help you keep your basal urges under control. It is all you need for life.

In the Message, “The Word of His Grace: The Lord’s Tabernacle With Us”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter demonstrates practically the indispensability of the Word of God in our lives. And that the indispensable nature of the Word is seen in its internal spiritual dimension. The internal dimension of the Word is the Lord's tabernacle with us – God’s ultimate solution for us.

In this message, you will realise the Word is everything you need to be sorted out in life.

The church is a temple of God according to its relationship with the Word. The destruction of the temple during the Babylonian captivity is symbolic of the decline of the Christian church to the point where the Word has no place to dwell amongst the people of the church. Thus, the rebuilding of the temple refers to the return of the Word in all its fullness. That is, the glory of the Word that shall be revealed in the rebuilding of the temple shall be greater than the former. (This is also referred to in the scriptures as the coming of the new heaven and the new earth). This rebuilding of the temple will first take place as individuals yield themselves to be rebuilt for the habitation of the Word.

In the message, “The Word of His Grace: The Two Olive Trees And The Menorah”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter prophetically declares that, it is time for the rebuilding of the Lord’s temple. And that, the building of the temple shall be by the Lord’s Spirit, the spirit of truth (the hidden revelation of the Word beyond its externals) as typified in the the two olive trees and the Menorah.

This is a clarion call for all those who have ears to hear. For those are fed up with the decline of the church (both in themselves individually and corporately). Let him that is athirst come and yield that the Lord’s temple be built.

As the gloves were made for the hands, so are we made for the Word of God to dwell in us in all its depths and dimensions and not just as a mere information. The Word has a place in every area of our being. And it’s when every area of our being respond to the Word that we are at our optimum potential. But how can we receive the hidden manna (whose presence constitute the solution we need) in the Word, seeing it is not perceived by the senses? For the Word to tabernacle in us (Immanuel), we must rise above the externals of the Word.

In the message, “The Word of His Grace: The Hearing of Faith”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter breaks down what it takes for the Spirit of truth within the Word to be tabernacled in man. This is what constitute the hearing of faith. He further establishes that the hearing of faith, which builds us for the habitation of God, is beyond the external knowledge of the Word.

The phrase, “the son of man” as used in the scriptures refers to the Lord as to the Word. When Jesus asked, “Whom do men say that I, the son of man am?”, He was enquiring of people’s thoughts and relationship with the Word.

We were made to receive life force from the Word. The Word of God, our creator, therefore possesses all the faculties and capabilities that form our make-up as humans. Since the things that plague us (fear, depression, anxiety, despair, anger etc.) are deep seated, we need to access higher dimensions of the Word in order to receive the help the word offers us in our troubles.

The reason why perseverance is a must in the spiritual journey is because it’s not a straight forward journey. It tends to be frustrating and the progress we seek may not be forthcoming as desired, not because God has made it so but because of our individual frames. Our journey becomes prolonged because we navigate from a series of misunderstandings and mixed-up motives. Hence the need to be patient and persevere. For that matter, the one who reaches out with the gospel must persevere in sharing their faith.

The spiritual journey is a tortuous path.
