This is just a life update and my thoughts on Covid-19. 

The timeline goes back a lot further than I originally thought. I am going to share a lot more in future episodes. Gain Of Function (GOF) research has been happening for decades but I think CRISPR has allowed scientists to do things with viruses that were never possible before. I changed my mind about including the link to that video but here is a better one https://youtu.be/Aw-nR6-4kQQ?t=2465. In 2014 scientists, including Ralph Baric, were trying to defend Gain Of Function Research even though other well-meaning scientists were pointing out the potential dangers. That was five years before COVID-19 became a problem. This research was being done in the US and China. It was probably being done in labs in other parts of the world as well.
