We continue the series “Glittering Vices: Seven Misguided Pursuits of Happiness” with today's message titled: Greed / Avarice: Wanting It All based on scripture: Genesis 13:1-13, Luke 21:1-4, and Matthew 27:57-60. Greed / Avarice is wanting to be able to provide for our needs by ourselves without having to depend on God. This vice treats money or possessions as the ultimate security blanket.

We continue the Glittering Vices series with today's message titled: Sloth: Lazy About Love based on Scriptures: II Peter 1:3-9, Genesis 19:12-26, Mark 10 and Revelation 3:14-19. Sloth is being unwilling to be or do all God wants from us because that would take too much effort.

Today we welcome guest pastor Dan Kuiper. The message is titled "Overcoming Our Shame" and is based on scripture: II Corinthians 10:5 and Philippians 4:8. Left unaddressed, shame will drain our passion, neutralize our faith, and steal our joy. But there are steps we can take toward overcoming shame and living life to the full as God intended!

We begin the series "Glittering Vices: with the message titled Pride: The Root Of It All absed on scriptures Proverbs 6:16-19, Galatians 5:19-21, Colossians 3:5-10, John 15:1-8, and Revelation 21:8. Pride is the root of the seven deadly sins. Its opposing virtue is humility. This message launches our look at the seven deadly sins, which are all rooted in pride. We will dig deep into our souls this Lenten season, which will have us erupting with joy on Easter.

The message today is titled "Our Neighbors as Our Perish" and is based on Jeremiah 29:4-14. This message presents a model for understanding our neighborhood under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, with Christians being the hands and feet of Jesus, to bring the values of the kingdom to our neighborhood.

Today we focus on Loving Our Neighbors based on the old testament view from Leviticus 19 and Isaiah 58:6-9

Today's message "Living Large" is a set up for a church-wide, 7 week small group series by Tim Keller called "Generosity: How God's Radical Grace Makes Us Givers." It is based on Luke 10:29-37. Grace changes us. When we apprehend and receive the wonder of a God who comes to His earth and dies to redeem humans lost in our own rebellion and sin, we are forever changed. That change results in generous lives that radiate goodness in the areas of time, talent, and treasure. Grace-filled lives are beautiful lives. Let's get filled up, so we can overflow.
