The motivation for this message occurred last week in Atlanta, Georgia at Mercedes Benz Stadium, of all places. Giovanna and I took Mason to a concert to see the British wonder, Ed Sherran.

There is nothing wrong with pleasure, possessions and prestige, but they are not worthy to be pursued as the true source of happiness. Why? Because the happiness they provide is temporary.

Are we just like the culture? Being just like the culture, will not give us the answers we are looking for. Instead, it will only bring death in the details of our lives & the hope we need to face life. This week we are looking once again at technology and some practical steps to ensure we have balance in our relationship with technology.

The purpose of Camouflage Series is to ask the question – are we just like the culture? Being just like the culture will not give us the answers we are looking for. It will only bring death in the details of our lives & the hope we need to face life. Why blend in when we are called to stand out?

There are two reasons why Camouflage exists in nature, to blend in to our surroundings and for a predator to hide in order to bring death. Today as we blend in to our culture, we are not finding answers we are looking for and in reality we are bringing death in the details of our lives.

As Christians, we are here for a reason...

On July 16th at 3:21am, God gave me the words that would form this series. To focus on what's right takes a FIGHT! Life is full of hills and valleys. It can sometimes be hard to keep the right attitude and mindset when things aren't going right. We can easily become distracted by what is happening around us.

From the time we were children listening to a fairy tales we learned that life has its beginnings, middles and endings . . . childhood, school, fleeting friendships, Super bowls . . . many events in our lives have all come to an end. No problem, right? There are those times when we discover that THE END is not easy to accept at all.
