We are moving towards patient-centered care and thus, it is important to listen to patients’ feedback. Hyunjoong William Kim discusses an article that evaluated the role of an individual hospital’s effort to make the provider reviews from patients transparent and public on its website; specifically, it looked at if there were any score differences between the radiologists and the non-radiology physicians. Radiologists, particularly those who are involved in direct patient care, may be subjected to similar patient review and ratings mechanisms as other clinical providers and this article is a good starting point to think about the ever-changing healthcare field.
