The New England Patriots haven't made much of a splash in free agency so far, although that's not necessarily new for Bill Belichick. However, there are still a few players left on the free agency market that could provide some depth in necessary defensive positions for the patriots.
Sierra Goodwill and Evan Lazar discuss how and with who the Patriots could add depth at defensive end and linebacker.

After 14 seasons, the New England Patriots have released veteran kicker Stephen Gostkowski. The 36-year-old was on injured reserve in 2019 and underwent hip surgery for a lingering issue. After Tom Brady, Gostkowski was the longest tenured Patriot -- that title now belongs to special teamer Matthew Slater.
Sierra Goodwill, Evan Lazar and Mike Petraglia discuss the Patriots' options at kicker for next season.

The New England Patriots signed veteran quarterback Brian Hoyer to a 1-year, $1.05 million deal on Sunday. Hoyer brings an immense amount of experience and knowledge to the QB room. He's a great scouting QB and Tom Brady respected and utilized him frequently -- is it time for Jarrett Stidham to do the same?
When the Patriots signed Hoyer on Sunday, it signaled to Stidham that the team has faith in his ability to lead the team this upcoming season. While the sample size for Stidham's ability in an NFL regular season game is extremely small, his teammates rave about what he's able to do in practice and even off the field.
Sierra Goodwill and Evan Lazar discuss whether or not they think the Patriots will draft a quarterback and who some potential options could be.

The New England Patriots are in the market for a pass-catching tight end and free agent Eric Ebron could be the guy for the job. Ebron had a great 2018 season where he caught 66 passes for 750 yards and 13 touchdowns. His production was down in 2019 (31 rec, 375 yds, 3 TDs), but that blame could be shared with his lackluster quarterback.
Sierra Goodwill and Evan Lazar discuss how Ebron would fit into the Patriots offense and be a valuable red zone target.

The New England Patriots have signed two players since the NFL free agency period opened. They brought in defensive tackle Beau Allen on a two-year, $8 million deal. Allen is a powerhouse run blocker with a stocky build and played on the Philadelphia Eagles team that took down the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
New England also signed wide receiver Damiere Byrd to a one-year deal. Byrd has an impressive skill set, highlighted by his speed, and comes at a much lower cost than other big-name free agent wide receivers.

The New England Patriots need to bolster it's pass catching group. The Jets top free agent is wide reciever Robby Anderson, who could be a speedy, deep threat for the Patriots offense.
Sierra Goodwill and Evan Lazar break down Anderson's game and the bad blood between him and Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore.

The New England Patriots are in the market for a quarterback and Jameis Winston is a free agent that has yet to be signed: could they be a fit? Winston is definitely a wildcard; in 2019 he threw for over 5100 yards, 33 touchdowns and 30 interceptions. He also led the league in pass attempts, yards and interceptions.
Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is on the trading block. The former MVP could be too costly for the New England Patriots who are now in the market for a new QB, but Newton definitely has some upside.
Sierra Goodwill and Evan Lazar discuss whether or not Newton would be a good fit systematically in Josh McDaniels' offense as he has an incredibly different game than Tom Brady.

Former New England Patriots coaches continue to scoop up Bill Belichick's players. On Wednesday afternoon, veteran safety Duron Harmon was traded to the Detroit Lions. Harmon was a leader in the locker room who helped instill the Patriots culture.
Free agent center Ted Karras signed a one-year, $4 million deal with the Miami Dolphins. Karras was a backup to David Andrews his first three seasons and was able to start in 2019 due to Andrews being placed on injured reserve. The Dolphins have the starting role all lined up for Karras.
