The story of a lad brought up in wigan who played his junior stuff for Hindley ARLFC. Played rugby both at school and for his club reaching representative milestones until decisions had to be made when rugby became serious. He entered the pro game with oldham rlfc and as they say the rest is history. He took the next challenge on after retirement by becoming a coach and is making huge impressions with Sale Sharks after coaching Wigan Warriors and England RL.
