It's easy to fall into the trap of being satisfied and becoming complacent; but it is also just as easy to fall into the trap of never being satisfied and becoming negative.

I have learned that the fine line between the two is referred to as Blissful Dissatisfaction. Finding the balance between appreciating how far you've come but also still yearning for more.

As Thanksgiving is approaching, talks of "trimming the Turkey" are sure to be happening. In businesses, talks of "trimming the fat" are also occurring.

Being a business owner that tries to create room for individuals to build their own destiny within our organizaiton, I wanted to share a small perspective of what these "fat trimming" talks look like.

Bottom line - as leaders, make sure your investments are generating returns. As someone on the team, make sure that you would be willing to pay yourself out of your own pocket for the value you provide.
