Orlando City still hasn’t woken up from the perpetual Groundhog Day that comes with every match against Atlanta United, but this was one of the team’s best performances of the series, even if the Lions came up short on the scoreboard. Orlando deserved better but when you don’t take your chances, you’re just asking for trouble. We break down the match and choose our picks for game MVP.

People took offense to some things Marc Skinner either did or didn’t say in a BBC interview, but mostly they took offense to Skinner not saying what they wanted him to say, since he begged off the question about the USWNT’s fight for equal pay completely and instead talked about something entirely different.

We dip into our listener mail, and, of course, we gave our key match-ups and predictions for the Lions at San Jose this Saturday night.
