Hello Beloveds, friends, fellow earthlings. Welcome to the second week of Peaceful by Nature. In this podcast I talk a bit about grief and the awakening potential on this planet through our individual and collective growing pains. It's an intense world. We all need to nourish our mind, bodies and souls with deep restorative rest so that we can live with open hearts and greater peace. Yoga Nidra is a wonderful practice that helps you relax deeply. This practice allows you to enter into a theta wave brain state, that open state of awareness between being awake and being asleep. In this open & allowing state your mind and body rest and rejuvenate. Yoga Nidra also incorporates setting an intention, which can take seed in this open and relaxed state with less resistance from your past conditioning. This practice is best practiced on your back, in a comfortable position, with a bolster under your knees, pillow or towel supporting your head and neck, an eye pillow gently covering your eyes, and a blanket that makes your body feel safe. You can listen to this guided meditation as part of your nightly practice, or as an independent meditation. Please let me know how you enjoy this practice, as well as any changes you see in your waking life after practicing a few days.
As always, I welcome questions and feedback. Let me know if you have questions about intention setting or the practice of Yoga Nidra. I welcome suggestions for meditations for the podcast. If you would like a personalized meditation and recording to help you transform in a specific way (this may be related to health, habits, work or personal growth) please get in touch.

This is the same Morning Meditation without music. A perfect way to begin your day so you can have a peaceful, gentle and joyful day.
This guided Meditation is the perfect way to start you day. Have you noticed that how you begin your day dictates how the rest of your day unfolds? If you start the day by replaying the ills of yesterday or anxious about the state of the world, you are less mindful and loving. When you start your day by being aware of your breath, connecting to your heart and relaxing your body, you will be able to show up with less reactivity and anxiety, and more mindful loving awareness. This ten minute meditation will guide you to listen to your heart's wisdom and set a heartfelt intention, as well as relax your body so you can be at peace throughout the events of your day.
Welcome to the first episode of Peaceful by Nature, brought to you by This Peaceful Planet.
In this episode:
An introduction to the podcast and the pillars of cultivating and nourishing Peace in your life. In this podcast I offer gentle and joyful practices that will help you cultivate and nourish Peace at three levels: Personal, Interpersonal and Planetarty.
First we talk about what I mean by "Peaceful by Nature" and my intention in creating the podcast. Then we look at some of the gentle and joyful personal practices that help you cultivate Peace, including meditation, nourishing movement, time in nature, and creative expression. I talk about our relationship with our thoughts and emotions and how meditation can help sooth our beings and bring us home to Peace. We start to explore how you are the pebble at the center of Peace on the planet. When you create peace within and practice radical self love and care, you can spread that love and peace with the world.
Do you have questions about what I shared in this first episode? Are there specific kinds of meditations you would like to hear? I would love your feedback and welcome your suggestions.
