Conflict is inevitable. Jerks in the workplace, stressful family dinners, trolls on Facebook—no matter where we look, conflict is waiting for us. The status quo is to be a peacekeeper; don't rock the boat, keep things calm, and protect our own status.

Yet Jesus calls us to be peacemakers—people who proactively pursue reconciliation, who are willing to be honest, and who offer grace instead of judgement and condemnation.
