This week I want you to meet my friend, the artist Peig Abbott. 

Looking at her now, you'd never imagine that for a period of time Peig was bedridden with a fatigue so debilitating that just getting to the bathroom was considered enough for one day. Now she wields giant blow-torches and wrangles impossibly beautiful forms from stone, wood, and steel!?!

I'm not going to say too much more because her talk, like art, is best experienced firsthand to be appreciated and understood.
