This week I am thrilled to introduce you to an expert whose scientific background coupled with his passion for sharing tools for helping people recover are truly inspiring, Dr. Keith Ellis. 

Dr. Ellis is the founder of Science Driven Supplements, maker of Circuguard.  He spent years in industry, developing medicines, and is an Associate Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University. He holds a PhD in biological sciences and has dedicated his career to studying complex systems within the body, particularly focusing on circulation and cardiovascular health. This week I am delighted that my friend Mira Rubin has returned to the Healing Grove podcast.

This week I want you to meet my friend and colleague, Joanne Cohen-Katz.

Joanne has been a lifelong seeker of truth and healing, beginning with her residency in the Kripalu yoga community at the age of 19! She has extensive training in mindfulness practices, and trauma therapy, including Internal Family Systems and Presence Psychotherapy. This week I would like to introduce you to my new friend, Dr. Alice Honican.

Alice is a Doctor of Naturopathy, Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Licensed Acupuncturist, and Bioenergetic Practitioner at Longevity Health Center in Roswell, GA. After earning her Bachelor‘s Degree of Science in Psychology from the University of Georgia, Alice continued on to receive her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from The Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA. This week I would like you to meet Dr. Casey Kelley.

Dr. Kelley is the Founder and Medical Director of Case Integrative Health in Chicago, IL. While she was earning her medical degree at Ohio State University, Dr. Kelley became increasingly ill. Her symptoms included extreme fatigue, trouble breathing, dizziness, elevated heart rate, and brain fog. Though doctors assured her that her healthy issues were simply due to stress, she knew there was something else at the root of her health crisis. Eventually, Dr. Kelley was able to get a correct diagnosis for both Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and Lyme Disease. She went through treatment and has now been in remission for more than 15 years.

This experience is what drives her passion to help others battling chronic illness, and what led her to found Case Integrative Health in 2019. Today she serves patients of all ages across the country, helping get to the root cause of their disease and transforming their health through Functional Medicine. As one of the first physicians to become Board Certified in both Family Medicine and Integrative Medicine, Dr. Kelley uses a whole-body approach to dig underneath symptoms to uncover what's broken. Ann Corson, MD grew up in Southeastern Pennsylvania and obtained her MD degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA in 1982.  Dr. Corson has residency training in Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Family Medicine and is currently board certified in both FM and Integrative Holistic Medicine in 2011. 
 
Dr. Corson became a member of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS) in 2003.  She has studied with Dr. Joe Burrascano and Dr. Charles Ray Jones.
