The Last Day or the Last Days are often perceived as the Judgment Day just because Jesus said: "The word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day". - John 12:48 But putting the old understand away, what did Jesus mean by 'The Last Day'? To understand it, we have to find out the Old Testament foundation for the Last Days. The first time this term is used is in Genesis 49. Jacob, the father of the nation of Israel, prophesied over his 12 Sons saying: "Gather together, that I may tell you what shall befall you in the last days." - Genesis 49:1 So, Jesus didn't speak on His own, but He was using scriptures. Because He had said "I have not come to destroy the Law or the Prophets, but to fulfill". Once we understand what the Jacob's Prophecy was about, we can also see what Jesus meant by the Last Day. When Jesus spoke concerning the Coming of the Son of Man He said it would be like the days of Lot. To know what Jesus meant we need to focus on the terminologies He used. One of the things He mentioned is 'they bought, they sold'. But what's the buying and selling? Does He speak of shopping/trading? Or is there a mystery hidden underneath? But Jesus, a Man endued with the Spirit of God, put to shame death and corruptions, and raised out of the dust, victoriously. He is the Pattern of Life. Now He is here, 'in us', revealing the Mystery of Overcoming Death while being alive, that we may understand the SEED has all it needs within itself. This Seed is 'Christ in You'.

The moment these precious words left the mouth of Jesus that: "HEAVEN and EARTH will PASS AWAY but My Words will by no means PASS AWAY" The opportunity for the carnal mind to interpret that 'literally' began. The modern day Christianity has embraced a modern day teaching concerning these words of the Lord Jesus, and has left us with a veiled understanding. But God hasn't left us without help so that we may continue in the darkening of counsel, but has sent the Spirit of Truth, that He may 'reveal' the 'mystery', and replace our 'opinionated' mind, with the Mind of Christ, who is the 'counsel' of God.

On the night Jesus was betrayed, the entire ruler system of the day came to arrest Him. They asked for Jesus of Nazareth, to which He replied: I AM HE. When the words came out of the mouth of the Lord, they all drew back and fell to the ground. There was power in those words. These are the same exact words by which God revealed His Name to Moses, saying: I AM. Why would Jesus use these words? Why did Jesus say "I am He"? Who is Jesus?
