Did God forsake Him on the cross? To find the answer, we need to realize Jesus wasn't confessing what He was feeling, but He was quoting Psalm 22:1. He took everyone's attention to what was prophesied. It was written that He would be surrounded by all those who had become like Adam of old, seeing God as the One who forsook them, and therefore project their belief on Him as though it was true about Him too. Yet the very next verses of Psalm 22 reveal what Jesus believed while on the cross.

When it comes to Death and Life, the Bible has a lot to say. Jesus said to one of His disciples "Let the dead bury their own dead but you go and preach the kingdom of God". This He said after the disciple had requested to first go and bury his father. The understanding of this verse comes when we acknowledge the fact that Jesus had a habit of taking what people would say and turn it into a spiritual conversation, and by doing so reveal mysteries and now we can understand them.

Jesus said: "The hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. However, because of inaccurate translation, many miss the fact what Jesus meant was 'Resurrection of Judgment'.

Jesus in Revelation 3:16 says: Because you are Lukewarm neither cold nor hot I will vomit you out of My mouth. This scripture has been misused many times, because the heart behind it is not perceived. Listen to find out what He meant. 

Often it’s believed that ‘one day’ Jesus would come and establish a Kingdom on this planet, in an earthly city. Yet Jesus said My Kingdom is not of this World, and then added, if My Kingdom were of this World, My servants would fight. The question is, where in His Kingdom from? 

The judgment of God is one of the most misunderstood terms in human history. Jesus said the Father has committed all judgment to the Son, but He also said “I have not come to judge the world but save the world”. This indicates that there are two kinds of judgment, one is ‘for’ and the other is ‘against’. God’s judgment has been ‘for’ man, not against ‘man’.

Jesus said in John chapter 16 that “in Me you have peace but, in the world you’ll have tribulation”. Tribulation is the narrowness for the soul, the place that man experiences the outside pressure, coming from the world that was corrupted through the sin of Adam! Jesus has overcome every tribulation and now has brought the solution to it: “MY PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU”.

From Genesis to Revelation, we realize that Man is the focus of God’s creation. God made the Tree of Life within Adam’s reach but Adam failed to eat of its fruit and thus he died. The Tree of Life shows up, once again, in the last chapter of the Bible, in the Book of Revelation, with an invitation from Jesus to mankind to eat of it and live.
