Yoon-Jin Kim, MD discusses a study identifying imaging findings of lateral meniscus posterior root tear on pre-operative MRI in children. Imaging findings generally having a high specificity put low sensitivity with tears of the root proper having the best accuracy for identifying root tears when arthroscopy reports are used at the reference standard.
