Join me, Alison Elizabeth as we read out of Hebrews 10:35-36 which says "35 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. 36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised."

"Perseverance is what wins. Nothing else gets you to the finish line. In all aspects of my life I have learned that the one who gets far in life is the one who keeps going.

 

Confidence in what we do can sometimes become an internal battle. You feel as if you are not qualified to do the work you are doing. But I am here to remind you that promotion comes from the Lord. So if you are doing a job you think is too hard, or that you are unqualified to do, I encourage you to think again. Man did not promote you, God used man as a tool to give you more responsibility.

 

If He has called you to it, He will walk you through it. So do not throw away your confidence. It was a gift from Jesus and he wanted to reward you for it. It wants to give you what He has promised. But you must take your assignment and roll with it.

 

So if that means creating new processes at work, do it. If that means taking those harder classes in school, take them. If that means creating content, create the content. Do the things God has assigned you to do. And do it with the confidence He has given you. He is counting on you, He knows you can do it, because if He didn’t think you could, you wouldn’t have the responsibility to do it today."
