Descriptions of the late Alan Kulwicki include determined, calculating, focused, and driven. The Greenfield, Wisc. native came to NASCAR's Cup Series determined to win races and championships his way - as opposed to driving for other team owners. Kulwicki won five races and the 1992 Cup Series championship before his untimely death on April 1, 1993 in a private airplane crash. NASCAR historians Ben White and Jerry Bonkowski dedicate this week's show to Kulwicki and discuss his life and career. They are joined by Tom Roberts, Kulwicki's longtime public relations manager, and share behind the scenes stories of the fallen champion from a personal perspective.
