We had another big show this week, despite the fact that I'd been awake since 4:30 in the morning. The listeners and the World's Greatest Chat Room (TM) kept me awake, alert and aware for the entire program, which is a good thing as we welcomed in Spring and tucked Winter away with a blossoming bounty of bright music! We had a magnificent Top 5 at 10, a bunch of YOUR great requests AND we celebrated Nat King Cole's 106th birthday (3/17), and many others, throughout the evening. Yes, it was a budding bunch of great sounds and fun with a big, crazy crowd listening and a whole lot more. Spring has sprung, and we are flowering forth as well. Since we had no show on Wednesday last week, we decided a special Saturday Night edition of The Pete Sayek program was in order! This week, we celebrate the birthday (Feb. 25) of George Harrison, with a copious selection of solo and Beatle George throughout the show.
