This week on The Big Show, we salute all the April Fools out there (well, the well-meaning ones anyway!) with a sprinkling of foolish fun throughout the program! Of course, we have our usual fun features (a new Top 5 at 10, and YOUR great requests) plus some fantastic musical birthdays and a whole lot more! Also, in our Beatles Anniversary Spotlight, the Fab Four continue filming their second movie AND return to the studio (with questionable results!). There's no fool like an April Fool, but we'd never steer you wrong when we say it's a fine, fun program this week - enjoy!

We had a very special FIVE-HOUR Friday night edition of the program for you this week! Friday, because we weren't able to do the show on Wednesday, and five hours because, you know, it's Friday. That usually means a jumbo-sized show, which is good because we had a LOT of stuff going on! In addition to our usual fun featurettes (a new Top 5 at 10, our Beatles Anniversary Spotlights and oh so many musical birthdays), we also bring you some sounds of baseball Opening Day and memories of Beatlefest Weekend. It's a jam-packed, weekend-starting, special Sayek schmear for you to stop, look and listen. Enjoy! 

We had another big show this week, despite the fact that I'd been awake since 4:30 in the morning. The listeners and the World's Greatest Chat Room (TM) kept me awake, alert and aware for the entire program, which is a good thing as we welcomed in Spring and tucked Winter away with a blossoming bounty of bright music! We had a magnificent Top 5 at 10, a bunch of YOUR great requests AND we celebrated Nat King Cole's 106th birthday (3/17), and many others, throughout the evening. Yes, it was a budding bunch of great sounds and fun with a big, crazy crowd listening and a whole lot more. Spring has sprung, and we are flowering forth as well. It's like having seedlings of sound, all in groovy 2.0 stereo. Enjoy!

It's a grand edition of The Pete Sayek Program as we celebrate St. Patrick's Day with four-plus hours of festive sounds! Yes, we are wearin' the green this week, but not only that - we're also celebrating the 80th birthday of Micky Dolenz (3/8) throughout the the show! We also have our usual features, like a brand new Top 5 at 10, a bunch of YOUR great requests and a whole lot more! There's some solo John sounds in our Beatles Anniversary Spotlight, a tasty beverage or two and a little session at Pete's pad for good measure! Aye, a splendid time is guaranteed for all. This week on The Pete Sayek Program, we let the good times roll with our annual Mardi Gras celebration! The great music is flying around like wayward beads this week, with plenty of festive favorites, as well as all of our usual features: a brand new Top 5 at 10, plenty of musical birthdays and YOUR great requests. We even have paczkis (nom nom) because every now and then you need a sweet celebratory treat! We also prepare you for the time change (oh, heavens) like we always do (insert laugh track here!) and plenty more fun and games. Since we had no show on Wednesday last week, we decided a special Saturday Night edition of The Pete Sayek program was in order! This week, we celebrate the birthday (Feb. 25) of George Harrison, with a copious selection of solo and Beatle George throughout the show. We've got all our usual stuff, too - like a brand new Top 5 at 10, a lot of fun, and even a bit of silliness. There's a lot of good stuff in our Beatles Anniversary Spotlight as well...the Fabs record an unreleased song - and start filming their second movie 60 years ago, and Ringo has a new single 50 years ago - plus more! It's four whole hours of unadulterated fun on a bun. It's the WHEEKEND, baby! Enjoy!

Ahh yes, we had another splendid week of music and fun for you here on the Big Show, punctuated with veritable cornucopia of great tunes, splendid silliness and general grooviness! Throughout the program, we mark the 50th Anniversary of John Lennon's splendid Rock 'N' Roll album with a healthy helping of tracks from said LP, plus The Beatles head back into the studio to begin sessions for their next album in our normal Beatles Anniversary Spotlight! Of course, we have all our other featurettes, like a brand new Top 5 at 10, and we also tip the birthday cap to the legendary Smokey Robinson! It's four-and-a-half-hours of good sounds that we hope you'll really like in stupendous 360 stereo. Enjoy!

Love is in the air on this week as we present our annual Valentine's Day show, where you can feel the love wrapping you in a warming hug! Good thing too since it was snowing and icing during the show! The joint was jumpin' and we were having a ball, which led to FIVE HOURS of lovely music for you! Oh yes, we had plenty of help from Cupid during the program, but we also had our usual fun features - a new Top 5 at 10, a bunch of YOUR great requests and a live 60-year-old BBC appearance in our Beatles Spotlight, as well as a 50-year-old radio appearance from John.
