Hey hey hey, it's our first show of May - and what a jam-packed presentation we have for you! We've got some post-Cinco de Mayo audio libations to inebriate your ears as we drift musically south of the border! Also, we have a myriad of musical birthdays to celebrate this week, with a special nod to the legendary Harry Lillis "Bing" Crosby (122 years since his birth on 5/3). For you rockier chaps and chapettes, there are plenty others - PLUS a new Top 5 at 10 and your great requests, plus a musical salute to the 80th Anniversary of V-E Day. There's tons more stuff but not enough room to go over it all, so you'll just have to grab a cold cerveza and crank up the volume. On this V-E day, a toast to all who served. Enjoy!

We close out the month of April with a fun edition of The Big Show for you this week, jam-packed with music and mayhem! Despite an extremely tired host and a music computer that was less-than-cooperative for the first part of the show (that remedied itself after a little external intervention) we managed to bring you four full hours of the good stuff, with a brand new Top 5 at 10 and a bunch of YOUR great requests, plus the usual shenanigans you know and tolerate. It's our post-Easter show this week, where we sort through all the "B" candy but play you the "A" music all night long! We've got a myriad of marvelous musical birthdays to celebrate this week, including the legendary Roy Orbison - as well as another glorious Top 5 at 10 for you and a whole lot more fun stuff! Oh yes it's the perfect soundtrack to enhance your week while you wait for your Peeps to age to the proper 'al dente' consistency. Hey, we like our candy the way we like it around here, no judgement. Grab some of those leftover jelly beans and enjoy!

It's our annual Tax Relief show this week, as we present four hours of comforting selections to soothe the nerves and Tax Day jitters. Of course, we also have our regular fun featurettes - a new Top 5 at 10 and a fabulous Beatles Anniversary Spotlight with a LIVE performance an the NME Awards and a return to the studio to record the title song for their newly-renamed second film! There's also a swell selection of important musical birthdays this week (featuring some of your host's personal favorites) and a whole lot more good sounds! No need to deduct any enjoyment with this weeks show - but you will want to file it out loud early and often. Enjoy!

This week on the Big Show we celebrate the anniversary of a momentous occasion on the Billboard Charts from 61 years ago with a very special Top 5 at 10 (see accompanying illustration for a big hint!), as well as our other usual bits of fun, including some big musical birthdays AND a new single release from 60 years ago in our (regular) Beatles Anniversary Spotlight! We had to cut this week's show a bit short just because we were exhausted from a busy week, but that just means we had to squeeze in even more music!
