Peter is a long-time collaborator with former Get Up in the Cool guest Andrew Finn Magill, and when they were on their way through Philly, Finn recommended I get Peter in front of a mic. I was really nervous about it, because Peter is from Malawi, and African rhythms, in general, are way outside my comfort zone. But Peter was lovely and patient and disarming, and he spoon fed me all the polyrhythms.
