The crisis at Optus during the nationwide outage and the chaotic communications in the immediate aftermath has been slammed by the head of Australia's corporate watchdog. Joe Longo, chairman of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, tells AM Optus customers are rightly angry that there appeared to be no well-developed crisis plan to ensure essential services like the 000 emergency services could be quickly restored.
