As embattled telco giant Optus stuggles to restore its smashed reputation after Wednesday's nationwide outage, it's pushing back on pressure to financially compensate customers left in the dark. Instead of stumping up with cash, Optus is offering free data to appease its ten million customers. Optus CEO Kelly Bayer Rosmarin says the data offer acknowledges "patience and loyalty".
